The Stuffed Potato is a hidden gem located adjacent to BXCR. Head downstairs at the main entrance to the Anaheim Packing House, and it's on the right. Check in was simple at the host station, and we were seated immediately. We ordered tickets through Eventbrite to see the Smooth Operator Band perform. At the time of booking, food options can be selected. We opted for the bbq chicken stuffed potato, and it was delicious. It came with a roll and fresh salad. The venue is small and dimly lit, providing a lovely ambiance for a candlelight dinner. A runner brought our food out within minutes of being seated, but there is no table service here. Diners must purchase their own drinks at the bar, which is no trouble since it's well staffed with bartenders, making the line move quickly. There is a two drink minimum per guest. Mocktails, soda, water, wine, beer, cosmopolitans, old fashions, and margaritas were some of the options, but the bartenders can mix up anything as long as they have the ingredients. We ordered the margarita and cosmo (both fabulous) at $16 each. The band was absolutely phenomenal with highly talented musicians and a lead singer who had an angelic voice. Although it was their first time playing together, they knocked it out of the park! All staff were friendly and helpful. Doors opened at 6:30, but the show started at 9. No need to arrive at opening unless you want to. Bathrooms are located in the packing district just past Randy's donuts, which is a short trek from The Stuffed Potato. Valet parking is available here and in the surrounding areas. Many take cards and Apple pay, but I would bring cash just in case. I was pleasantly surprised by how terrific the sound was. We were seated right next to the stage, but it wasn't overwhelmingly loud. There is a small dance floor, and dancing was encouraged; however, dancers do block the audience's view since the stage isn't elevated much. A perfect date night out for me is: Food + Drinks + entertainment + music in a SAFE environment. I mean what else is there? Entertainment: We came 3 times in the last 2 months to see R&B musicians E. Lamar & Michel'le and they were so good. Went back the third time to see E. Lamar carry the full show and he shut it down. As the performance went on he was able to fill the dance floor and everyone had so much fun! He even sang us an anniversary song. Food & Drinks: We had the bbq baked potato & greens which were really good and filling. The drinks were good (I got a mock tail & hubby got a Long Island iced tea) and the bartender was nice and fast. Venue: The venue itself is so cute. You can make a table reservation online and they will seat you together with your party if requested. They treat you like VIP when you walk in and if you ordered food in advance online, expect your food to arrive right away -- nice and hot. Anaheim Packing District parking: This location is so nice for this venue. Since the APD can be hard to find parking, I suggest valet. It's close and super easy. The Stuffed Potato is down the stairs to the right tucked in the corner. This is a perfect date night place with plenty of options for food and drink if you decide to not to eat at the venue. Ms Tina was amazing in assisting me in celebration of my 60th birthday. My private table, last minute additions, so professional and patient and caring. We loved the atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. We all absolutely loved the food and drinks Best collard greens ever. Every plate served was hot and delicious. My husband and I came for a friend's birthday. The ambiance is nice. I'm very disappointed that we were served cold collard greens and cornbread. The staff didn't seem to know what was going on or could answer our questions. Everyone around us was being served different things and we weren't welcomed pleasantly or offered a menu. I give this place a 1 star simply for the live band that did an absolutely amazing job. People were up and dancing and enjoying themselves. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the night everything else was underwhelming. 1st thing please redo the chairs. Two people in my party had paint transfer from the white seats. (Thankfully is came off through the wash). The tablecloths are a bit long we kept having to adjust it. There wasn't a waiter walking around for guests to order or even offer water to the tables. I had to ask the bartender how to order and she told me I have to go up the hostess at the entrance to request a menu and order food. That would of been efficient of the hostess to have given partys the menu at seating and informed us how to order. As a guest at an establishment it shouldn't be a guessing game on how to navigate services. Also there was no sign stating that this was a Cashless environment. We ordered chicken wings with hostess and no sooner than we walked back to our seats the wings were coming to the table. It wasn't even 3 minutes! Which tells me the food was already ready just sitting there waiting. The lemon pepper wings were small, dry and barely warm. There wasn't even steam coming from them. It tasted like rubber and out of a microwave. To top it off they served food on styrofoam/plastic plates. I was really taken back. A gentleman next to us ordered the stuffed potato and his plastic fork broke in his food! He asked for silverware and they didn't have any. I cant imagine working through a baked potatoe and my fork going through the plate. Compared to the other eating establishment in this venue this bottom of the barrel. Such a huge disappointment in the quality of food and service. The live entertainment is great but not enough to keep coming back especially for a $30 cover charge when they have a great live band playing center stage of the building for free.. This place has potential with the right leadership and vision until then not worth returning anytime soon. read more

The service was very obliging and professional. Bartender very good, you have to ask the location since there are many vendors in the vicinity. Food was adequate for a supper club atmosphere. Since its name sake is stuffed potato I was bewildered that the baked potato accompanying the meal was a bit bland. Entertainment wise the seating, stage, and sound equipment needs updating, upgrading. Chairs for dinning were extremely uncomfortable. Other than that it was a pleasant evening. I've never been to the Packing House District before, & didn't the know "The Stuffed Potato" was in there. I went out with my good friend to listen to fantastic music. Not only was the entertainment awesome, so was the food!! oh my goodness!! The baked potato with sour cream, butter, chives, cornbread & collard greens was cooked to perfection!!
