Classic pub experience, complete with a huge plate of bangers The vibe here is very old London pub, and the crowd was friendly.

A lovely pub located across the street from Hyde Park. The Swan is part of the Fuller's group of pubs. The have indoor seating on two floors and a lovely outside patio. Nice views of the park while dining or enjoying a pint. I came for the Sunday Roast. I'd always heard about this traditional Brittish dinner served on Sundays at many restaurants. It was quite nice. I was able to have a combination of roast chicken and beef roast along with a side of cabbage, vegetables, stuffing and yorkshire pudding with red wine gravy. It paired nicely with a pint of London's Pride. Service was prompt and friendly. I'd enjoy a repeat visit to try some of the other menu options.

Everything you need and nothing you don't. Had a scotch egg, prepared very nicely. Fish n chips ticked the box. Prepared just right. Solid option, decent beer selection too. I'll be back.

They don't have vegetarian options. Fortunately I'm a Flexatarian so I did fish n chips. Not as good as a "proper chippy" but solid. Service was not good...friendly but slow, inattentive and I got skipped by several tables that came in after me. Beers are delish and the ambiance is great. They have lots of outdoor seating on two levels!

Delicious pub food and drinks. The fish and chips and venison lamb shank were delicious. Stella provided excellent service with a smile! The ambiance was casual. Convenient located outside Hyde Park near the Italian Garden exit.

The food was delicious - definitely has local food on the menu with its own touch thrown in - definitely recommend the Sunday roast. The service was great - plenty of seating. It's conventionally located. The vibe was relaxed and everyone around seemed to be having a great time.

Our hotel was right around the corner, so we were tempted to visit after passing it so many times during our travels. What a good decision. The pub dates back to the early 1800's. Everything about the pub is inviting. There is pleasant outdoor and indoor seating. The service is prompt and friendly. We had a delicious "Full English" breakfast, with the best black pudding I've ever had! We also enjoyed a fish and chip dinner too. The fish was perfectly prepared. It's a guaranteed return when next we visit London.

Lovely Fuller's pub across from Hyde Park with a jovial atmosphere, beautiful interior, friendly staff, and lots of good food and drink to be had! I was last here around Christmas time in 2022. Their mulled wine was fantastic, and though I don't recall the particular dish I had -I think it was a pie of some sort- I do remember thoroughly enjoying it!!

We arrived at The Swan on Boxing Day without a reservation. Fortunately we were still able to get a table. The atmosphere was upbeat and festive. Service was prompt and friendly. As a visitor to London and after having fish & chips at a few other places....theirs was absolutely the best of all. I hope to be back this summer to visit again.

Lovely food and exceptional service. Tad boisterous and smoky (to be fair, it was Saturday evening). Overall, a fine outing.

We specifically came to try fish and chips, so we were lucky that The Mall Tavern was nearby. Each of us ordered fish and chips, and all of our plates were left nearly empty. My goodness, I have never had better fish and chips than here at The Mall Tavern. The fish was crispy, and the chips were perfectly salted to taste. I appreciate that chips in England are more like potato wedges than classic American french fries. Way less fried and way less salty, so you can enjoy the actual taste of the potatoes! I also ordered a side of Mac and cheese that we all shared. I don't know what kind of cheese(s) was used, but it was the perfect starter to our meal. For dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding for the first time. It was hard not to order another one!! We came in for late lunch, so the restaurant was empty. I assume they are much busier at lunch and dinner time. I also enjoyed the selection of beer while we waited for our food to come out. Next time I'm in London, I'm returning here immediately.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I ordered the beef roast, and we also shared a side of the creamy cauliflower, which was to die for. I truly cannot sing the praises of this restaurant enough. The service was personable and welcoming, making it easy and comfortable to ask questions and try new things. One of the managers (apologies I don't know her name) checked in on us several times and even encouraged a few of us to try additional menu items. The food came out quickly, and once it arrived, the table went completely silent because we were all too busy enjoying every bite. I highly, highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting London and even the locals. A solid 10/10 experience!

One eventually came to our table after sitting awhile. I of course had to try the fish n chips. A couple of veggie burgers were ordered and a regular burger. Surprisingly happy hour was still on at 8 o'clock so drinks were ordered. The food all came at the same time and everything was cool. The fish had a nice flavor from the fried batter. To me it was similar to Long John Silvers as far as the batter is concerned, but slightly better quality overall. The fries were standard. The only thing horrible was the very bland mashed green peas. They should be omitted from every pub across the country, but I think it is a traditional item included with the fish. The cocktails were good as well as the price. The sticky toffee pudding was something else I was advised to try while in London. I must admit it was really delicious. It came with a scoop of ginger ice cream and a warm buttery toffee sauce to pour over. It was delightfully warm and sweet and paired well with the ice cream. The cake itself was moist enough on its own with notes of brown sugar and molasses. I could have had seconds and thirds of this desert. Yum! The majority of my party didn't think the food was fantastic. The burgers happened to be somewhat alright. This was a first for me having pub food and I would have more again as long as I stick to the basics.

She can set up her own Yelp account if she wants to argue. The service was friendly and helpful (although once the food was served, we didn't see them again. This is kind of normal for UK pubs? I feel like the booze options on Yelp need updating: beer, wine, straight liquor and gin & tonics. Maybe call it Uk pub full bar? No martinis or Moscow mules here.) Our server (south Asian dude, helpful, accommodating, and friendly) was awesome, but so were the other staff (2 nice young ladies of different ethnic ancestry), so basically across the board great service. Weather was great, so we enjoyed people watching from our outdoor seats (Daunt book totes are definitely a thing here. Even when the bookshop in question is closed)
