Very upset seriously my sister in law made sure you guys had cupcakes and had the ones we needed we then requested to have the filling in one of them per request when I got there the lady said she didn't know which one had the filling per gender and on top of it all it came with Christmas sprinkles absolutely horrible completely ruined my end of 2025 and 2026 year so disappointed

I was immediately overwhelmed by everything on display when I walked in. There were cakes, donuts, macarons, etc. I was immediately drawn to the croissants (which is a croissant topped with a glaze). I was also recommended the cinnamon twist, as they are less sweet than the donuts. But everything looked really appetizing. After staring into the display for minutes, I decided on the croissant (which was as delicious as imaged), the cinnamon twist (which was large in portion and the sweetness is subtle but wonderful) and a slice of pound cake (buttery goodness with a glaze on top). The prices were decent for the amount of food I walked out with. I did not regret any of my choice and look forward to coming back to try other variety of baked goods. Everyone in the store was welcoming and pleasant. See you again soon!

Great selection of donuts, and no upcharge for most fancy ones. $14 for an assorted dozen. They had ones with fruity pebbles on top, coconut shavings, bacon and more. Tasted delicious and was a hit at work. I will stop by here if I'm in town again.

Well, until today I have always rated this place very highly. I've bought every birthday cake, shower cake, cupcake, every office donut (which I had also planned to purchase this morning), my gender reveal cake and EVEN MY WEDDING CAKE from these people. Having said that, they actually turned me away when I told them I needed a small, simple birthday cake for my daughter in about 31 hours from when I was ordering it. I needed a 48 hour notice!!! Are you kidding me???? I have spent HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of dollars and sent countless people to your business and you turn me away over a few hours?!?!? I will now be sending people elsewhere. That is terrible customer service!!! read more

I tried eating one of their fritters and it tasted like it had been sitting in a vat of week old grease. Truly disgusting! Couldn't taste any apple, all I could taste was the grease. 0/10 would not reccomend read more

Adorable place. Light fixtures to the roof are so creative and rustic cool looking. Stopped in to get some desserts for a party. Sausage cheese balls-wow these are the best I've had. Yummy. The petit fours were amazing and everyone complimented how fresh and delicious the little petit four cakes were. Wish this was closer to Atlanta!! Highly recommend. read more

Sweet Bar's donuts are next level. Perfect in every way. Great unique flavors, and their regular glazed is to die for in itself. The hidden gem of the menu is the fritters. They are absolutely massive and delicious. Cannot recommend Sweet Bar enough. read more

Hands down the best donuts ever! They are big and fluffy and wonderful. My daughter doesn't like donuts, but she loves these. We are new to Rome and discovered them when she brought them home after a school dinner. We've been back 3 times in the past couple of months. Each donut is pure perfection! The eclairs/long John's are so big! I swear it think they each weighed a pound. We try something new each time and haven't found one we don't like yet. What a great bakery! Everything is always so fresh and nice, and it never takes too long to get your sweets. The doughnuts are amazing and they have a lot of really unique flavors that are well executed. My favorite thing, though, is the Rainbow Cake. It's so simple but it's definitely one of those rare finds that are far more than the sum of its parts. read more

Love this place! Every donut and pastry I've had here has been delicious. I don't normally like chocolate, but their chocolate glaze is amazing. The white cream-filled donuts are also a favorite, and donut holes are a great choice, too. And the fritters! Yum!! The coffee is also wonderful - perfect pairing with a yummy donut any morning or afternoon. I frequently stop by when I have guests in town or want to bring treats to a meeting, etc. read more

I was sent a receipt from SQUARE from this business. I have never been to The Sweet Bar, so, naturally, I was concerned. I tried to call the business but no one answered. I left a negative review and called the business several more times. They couldn't give me any answers. The owner emailed me bashing me for the negative review. She was very unprofessional. Needless to say, I will never do business there. I got the situation cleared up finally. (No thanks to The Sweet Bar). I've also looked at their Facebook page. She (the owner) does NOT take negative feedback very well nor does she know how to conduct herself in a professional manner. I will be sure to leave as many reviews as I can. Locally owned and operated bakery/ doughnut shop located in the very first waffle house that was in Rome. They have the best handmade hand rolled doughnuts around! The maple bacon is a must, Edna strawberry fritters and apple fritters are off the chain and they're huge! That honey buns and cinnamon rolls are huge as well about the same size as the frisbee you you could share it with your friends if you want to do but you don't have to. The chocolate glaze on the doughnut is milk chocolate and it's delicious! You can also pick your doughnut and customize your toppings and pick whatever you want to go on top. They also have cakes cupcakes Cream horns Pettit fours cake cups cookie sandwiches homemade cookies pies cake slices cheese straws sausage balls maple glazed croissants just to mention a few. It looked fabulous and they went the extra mile to deliver, set-up and even decorate it with the roses we provided!!! To top it all off, it tasted amazing!
