This is a great spot to stop and get your specialty coffees, bakery goods, breads sandwiches, and even breakfast specials, the service this time was not as friendly as we've known it to be in the past they weren't very busy. There was only one of customers we just weren't quite sure if she was just having a bad day but otherwise it's clean, friendly a clean bathroom and plenty of offstreet parking all the way around. We pull a trailer so we were even able to get a spot right in front to park. I like the diversity when we visit 2 the Moon bakery as well as their peanut butter cookies they are excellent and not too sweet. My husband had the morning oatmeal cookie that had apricots, cherries, coconut and chocolate chips...he ate those in the car as we drove further north. He said they were the best he's ever had. It's actually Boon Country Store. GPS doesn't like the address of Haskins Rd. When we called, the lady told us to look for 34 Rd. Easy to follow the signs to Boon from 115 just outside of Cadillac. Other than your typical camping and hunting convenience items, food and drinks this place also sells cheese. Lots and lots of cheese. Be sure to sample from more than 20 cheeses especially their sharp and extra sharp Colby! Chocolate cheese? They have it. Spicy cheese? They have it. Smokey cheese, herb cheese, mushroom cheeses? They have those, too.

The staff has always been friendly, even if a little busy at times. The store itself is awesome for its location. They have beer, lottery, groceries, some hardware, toys, movie rentals, dairy products, a fantastic deli with fresh meats, snowmobile oil & plugs, ORV & snowmobile trail stickers, grill steaks, knick-knacks, propane exchange, snowmobile parking (large lot!), and of course, fuel pumps. The gas isn't BP anymore, but we have never had any problems with the fuel in our cars, boats, motorcycles, ATV's and snowmobiles. They also have good local information on the trails & weather. The 'best kept secret' is their deli sandwiches. They are the best! We, my family & I, are big fans of The Bristol Store!
