My family and my self stopped in to grab some quick food and drinks but quickly realized it wasn't going to quick lol. It was a pretty busy night the hostess was very sweet and our waitresss was very attentive and honest. There was a mistake made in regards to an item that was ordered and our waitress came over to tell me it was her fault and that she will get it out as fast possible, I was shocked by the honesty but very much appreciated it as that's how you build rapport with your clientele. A manager stopped by and bought my drink and food for the inconvenience which they didn't have to do but they were very kind for that. When the food came out it was worth every bit of the wait the chicken was juicy the lettuce was crisp. Although mistakes can happen having a staff that acknowledges it is huge. I forgot our waitresses name but she was the shorter of the two she was wearing glasses and a sweater (I was sweating just looking at her). I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends who have some time on their hands because although the food takes a while it is worth the wait. I recently came here over the weekend with a wipe to see how this place was. This place deserves a big prop for having a complete Vegan menu! That is the star studded Gem of this place because it fits my wife's dietary needs. The menu itself is pretty pricey though if you come here on certain days where there's always a special it can make up for it so I would schedule your time coming here by studying the specials of the day. This place has a lot of TVs and is very interactive by having a own kids area. If dining inside isn't your forte, they have a dining area outside. They even brought a TV outside for one guest so they could see the FIFA game. They have a back area by the bathroom where they have their video gaming and it really isn't much to check out. Staff takes too long to come by and service their guests even if it's only at half capacity. Parking wasn't an issue too. Placed a take out order today ( July 4th) and it was absolutely terrible. The bill was over $100 and the food was not even edible- we garbaged it all. I rarely if ever leave a bad review. I included pics to show. I mean one side of the grilled cheese was not even grilled. The tater tots were in what we assume is a re-used salad container and the steak was like chewing raw hide. The fries were for sure old and the deep fried gnocchi never saw the inside of a deep fryer in its life. Oh well I guess we leave and learn. We are just out $107 now. read more

We came on a Thursday for happy hour and got the pulled pork 'wich, italian beef 'wich, cajun shoestring fries, and a medium cheese pizza for a little over $25. An outstanding local establishment for a good meal and cool beverage. Sebastian's carries a very extensive food and drink menu, with a whole page dedicated to vegan fare. A little something for everyone. Kelly is the most gracious and bubbly bartender, we always enjoy chatting with her. She always remembers the drink you normally order and often has it waiting for you before you even sit down. She is a joy to be around and we are grateful that she works here. Our recent visit we enjoyed the 1/2 lb. Fried Calamari appetizer at the bar. My husband loved the chicken fingers appetizer. Kelly made a recommendation to me about the vegan chicken, and I opted for the Vegan Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I've never had anything quite like it. The vegan patty was a good portion and was loaded with a tangy yet spicy Buffalo sauce. The "chicken" was juicy and tender - and almost too much like real chicken that I questioned if I was consuming vegan chicken haha. Seriously it was very good. So, I'm found out about this place from a Facebook advertisement. They were advertising their new plant-based/ vegan menu. I was not disappointed. Vegans, they gave us an entire page of options! I ordered the vegan Nachos; HOUSE MADE VEGAN TORTILLAS CHIPS WITH VEGAN CHILI, OUR VEGAN CHEESE SAUCE, PICO, AND JALAPENOS with added avocado. It was so yummy. The house made tortilla chips were perfect; I love some good tortilla chips. We came during opening time, and it was quite slow, just one family there. First let me say that the food was good. The problem was the service starting with a server who seemed good at first but failed to follow through and then struck an attitude. Food was brought out piecemeal. Apps ordered as main courses came out early while the Cobb salad wouldn't have come at all if I didn't go and talk with the manager 10-15 minutes after the server said it would be right out. Maybe it was a bad night but it was bad enough for us that we won't bother to go again nor will the other people we went with. I ordered chicken Parmesan sandwich with Cole slaw. The chicken was tender and moist. Only thing was there was very little marinara sauce on the sandwich which made every bite very dry as The focaccia bread was pretty thick. The coleslaw which was an up charge of $2.00. It was a 1-2x up of red cabbage with quite of bit of black pepper sprinkled in and a splash of vinegar. This was a take out - so when we got home I added spaghetti sauce to the sandwich and added poppy seeds and a little honey mustard with made the whole sandwich palatable . The saving grace was the chicken which was very good. Too bad I wasn't in the restaurant at the time I ate. Each day they have a different drink/food special, and sometimes they have bingo and trivia. On Tuesdays, they have $2 tacos and $6 Don Julio margaritas, so we went to try them both. Service was lackluster. We weren't greeted at the table after being sat for a while, there were long gaps of time between when we ordered drinks, appetizers, and dinner. At the end of our meal, we waited an extended amount of time for our check, but to be fair, we didn't ask for it to be split until the end, so that's on us. But instead of taking 3 minutes and asking us each what we had, the server mulled over the POS for far too long two different times and still got the split incorrect. We waited for 20+ minutes for the check alone. They put on their menu that 95% of their food is made in-house and that everything is made to order which results in longer wait times for food. While there was a larger to-go order, the restaurant was relatively empty, and our food took a very long time to come out. The kid's meals came out last, and that was after the tater tots and onion rings which came out 10 minutes before the first plate of food hit the table. Everything came out in a weird order with large gaps of time between each meal too. The burgers looked and were incredible per the 2 people who got them! I could smell the bun and the bacon, and it was very evident they do not skimp on toppings and quality for the burgers. Bacon looked amazing and cooked to perfection. Definitely would order a to-go order for a burger one day. I understand that $2 tacos will not be as good or as filled as a $4 taco, and I also have had a ton of tacos in TX which have ruined me on tacos anywhere else, but these tacos were not it. The tortilla was too large for the amount of filling. Amount of filling was small, but I would suggest they do street taco tortillas instead of full size tortillas. The green salsa that came with them was meh, the steak was lackluster, the pork was just fine, and the pork belly was OK. I get they were $2, but I expected a little more flavor after seeing the rest of our table's food. Kids meals looked great though! Huge burger with a delicious looking bun for the kiddo, but the plain fries were exactly that...plain. Barely seasoned and flimsy. The kids mac and cheese was delicious per those who tried it! Not boxed Kraft mac and cheese, that's for sure! Homemade all the way and really good! Great prices for the kids meals too! Tots were also good, and the onion rings were a hit for the table! Margs were good too! I would probably come back to try a burger, and there were plenty of gluten free options too! I will begin with the food was very good. Some of the best fries and jalapeño poppers around. The mixed drink I had, a gimlet was marginal at best. And the service, non-existent. I was encouraged when the fries as appetizer were swiftly delivered to our table of 5. Yes, we had reservations and were looking forward to trying a new restaurant. After the fries, service fell apart. Not sure why...a surly server, an overloaded, kitchen? Not sure. The order the food was delivered was not as asked, and one of the meals, a salad, something that didn't even take cooking came out long after others were almost done with their meals. Generally, there would have been dessert and shots. We enjoy our time out, and tip really well. After the delays and words with staff and management, we left. This is a great sports bar with many TVs wrapped around the bar. They have fantastic "Happy Hour" deals and specials on the weekend. I tried their thin crust pizza and it was Excellent!! This was a great experience! All around, hands down would be back here soon and I like the location as well. We went on a Wednesday (for my mom's bday) and had a nice time. She saw the Bloody Mary's online and knew she had to be here for her bday. I took advantage of the $5 burger Wednesday's & they were quality! Surprisingly, usually restaurants step it down when food is on discount but not this place, such a good burger with fries too (have to order/pay for a side too). On top of that, they had $5 drink deals, great deal as well. The pictures I posted, says plenty. Check out that Sebastian's burger... it was insane (in a good way). My daughter-in-law and I went to Sebastian's for an afternoon drink and a couple of appetizers. The atmosphere is beautiful. What I found completely amazing was the fact that their bench seats for booths were not anchored to the floor. For a person with arthritis this is such a blessing. My daughter-in-law and I each had a margarita which was absolutely delicious. We also chose two appetizers: their junior hot pretzel and their Southwest eggrolls. The hot pretzel came with three dipping sauces: cheese,A sweet and sour sauce and a mustard sauce. I just had the mustard sauce and it was amazing. There's Southwest eggrolls came with the most delicious dipping sauce I've ever had. Sebastian's pricing is on target or even on the lower side of most of the eating establishments in Brookfield Illinois. Sebastian's also has A trivia night, a bingo night, and a boatload of specials. Last night was our first visit to Sebastian's Ale and Whiskey House and won't be our last. The menu is extensive and fun, especially for those of us who love bacon. Bacon wrapped cheese sticks! Fabulous. They have a large bacon appetizer section to their menu. The food was very good and the portions large. They had happy hour from 3-6 with drink specials but even without the reduced prices their drinks are very reasonably priced. All of this and a great server named Rebecca to make it a memorable night. She was knowledgeable, friendly and quick. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves a sports bar atmosphere with an upgraded menu from typical "bar" food. read more

$4 Craft Beers? I'm so in! We decided to stop into Sebastian's for our date night, and we are definitely fans. We have witnessed the changing of restaraunts and bars in their current space, and we were intrigued to see what Sebastian's had to offer. We chose to have dessert and drinks there, and so we ordered my Buckledown Belts and Suspenders in addition to the hubby's Blue Moon. We then tried out their Warm Brownie with Ice Cream. It was definitely pricey at $10, and the ice cream it came with was already almost completely melted. However, the brownie itself was delicious! Let's start by saying the place was not busy...not even close to busy. We were greeted by the somewhat faint yet very distinct smell of what I can only describe as a dirty mop bucket. Bartender was friendly enough but when the third person in our party showed up, we sat and had a full conversation without the bartender offering any kind of service. A good four or five minutes and not even the offer of a glass of water. There were only two other people sitting at the bar. When the rest of our party showed, we moved to a table. Of the five entrees ordered, four showed up. When the server realized the error, she said I'll be right back. I decided I'd wait for the fifth person to have their entree delivered before eating. A solid ten minutes went by and the entree, a sandwich no less, was delivered. At that point she looked at me and said 'oh, do you want me to take your burger back and have it heated up?' I decided simply.to eat mine cold so the person who just got their food didn't feel the need to wait for me to get mine back. Another in our party was drinking Mich Ultra. He asked for a glass for his beer and then he wound up having to ask again several minutes later. After having two Ultras the server asked if he'd mind switching to Coors Lt on tap because they were out of Ultra. Coffee after dinner...be sure when ordering to ask directly for a spoon if you don't want to stir it with your finger. And be prepared to ask for sweetener at least twice before it gets brought to the table. After all who really likes to drink their coffee while it is still hot? The one thing you won't have to ask for is the check. That was placed on the table before we were even done. We sat there finishing up our convo for another ten or fifteen minutes with empty glasses/cups, no server and a check staring at us. All of this and the place wasn't even busy. read more
