Welcome Taco Spot to C.G.!!!! Was next door getting a pedicure at Nailology, when I saw they were open! So I decided to get some lunch here. There were 4 people working. One young lady was at the register and two ladies were making the food. There were 4 people ahead of me. The two at the register were having trouble ordering so the young lady was explaining everything on their menu. When it was my turn I wanted to try all ; of there tacos. So she recommended the 4 taco street taco plate. Tacos are the size of your hand. I also wanted to try their horchata, so I ordered a small. Once I sat down there were about 15 guest spread around the dining area. They have 3 TVs that had there menu and specials going through a loop. There is a Pepsi company beverage station, and a salsa bar with two choices of salsa (red is hot & green is mild). The young lady who was working the register bought my tacos to my table. She asked if I wanted anything else? I said, "no thank you." My tacos were doubled up with two tortillas. My favorite was the Carne Asada & Al Pastor. There was also birria and chicken. I liked the green salsa on my tacos as the red was fire. All the tacos had fresh cilantro and onions on them. My horchata was a bit powdered but still flavorful. Overall a great experience, restaurant is clean, and staff is friendly. I will definitely be back to try some more menu items. read more

This is one of the worst meals I've ever paid for. The chicken in the street taco was terrible. It was like they microwaved too long. The "instant rice" was undercooked. It had hard chunks in it. The other tacos we ordered were just as bad. Imagine our food being prepared 6 hours earlier and when we show up they shove it all in a microwave. The best part was the fountain pop was out of order so I got a can of pop. I will never be back. read more

From the food to the service everything at the Taco Shop was great! I love that I was able to order online and customize what meats and toppings I wanted. I decided to get a couple of al pastor tacos, al pastor quesadilla, chips, and beans. Also, you can order individual onions, cilantro, and limes, so I got some of those as well. My grand total was only $20 and I had enough for a couple of meals. Everything was delicious and full of tons of flavor. I could've easily eaten two more of their al pastor tacos. They were tiny, but mighty! The bag came with salsas already in there, but I got some more at their salsa bar. So wickedly good! The only negative was the lack of chips. Literally I think there were like 15 with tons of beans. I was able to eat the beans without the chips though, so I survived! I will be back! read more

We've ordered food from here twice now and both times everything has been really good! My first try was the birria ramen and it is SPICY. There is an option, I think to get it without the spice packet, I'll have to do that next time bc the spice was too much for me. The birria tacos and consume are delicious! My husband loves their surf and turf burrito he's gotten it both times now. The only thing we were not happy with was the carne fries. The dish itself was cold and overall kind of dry tasting. Probably the only thing so far I wouldn't order again. This place is pricey, both times we spent about $50-60 dollars so be aware of that! We got both orders to go so didn't really sit in to enjoy the inside. It looks clean and evenly spaced out tables. The sauce is self serve which I dislike, I wish it was already packaged, more of a cleanliness thing for me, but I just don't get the sauce! Both times the cashier was friendly and the food came out fast! Overall a 8/10 for food, just pricey. read more

We appreciate new businesses in the area, and who doesn't love tacos! There is a challenge as the automated menu board rotates rapidly, and doesn't actually describe the types of fillings for the tacos. We had to wait until we got to the register to pick up a paper menu that fully describes the offerings. I think they assume everyone will use their website first. I do appreciate the ability to customize the order - flour or corn tortillas for the quesadillas and small (street) or regular size tacos. We got the asada quesadillas and chicken and asada tacos. The tacos were very good. We loved the flavor of the quesadillas but they were very greasy. We liked their green salsa but did not care for the creamy orange hot sauce. They offer birria and ramen - definitely something to try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean and offers lots of seating. They have a patio but no tables yet. We will be back. read more

The food here was really good, me and my girlfriend tried it for the first time on our tripp to phoenix. I got the surf and turf loaded fries and she got the birria ramen combo. Both dishes were really good and the agua frescas were good aswell. Good food and service overall. read more

I was very disappointed! for two people ordering two burritos with fries and a drink was a total of $49! now don't get me wrong, the food was great, but I asked for guacamole, and also sour cream, and paid extra for it, and it was not there at all. Went there at 7:15 at night and they were getting ready to close because they had half of the lobby closed. Do you really want to go to an establishment that wants to close itself early? When it comes to the food, it was very tasty, and the girl served me did a really great job, but this is just not acceptable for the price that I paid and having missing product. I will not be going there anytime soon, and I will not recommend it to any of my friends and family. read more

We came to The Tavo Spot today to celebrate my nephew's birthday. The customer service was a 10/10. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. We ordered the Street Taco Platter for 9 people. We had the choice of two types of meat. We chose all birria. It came with beans, rice and tortillas. The food was so good. We had plenty leftover to take home. We will definitely be coming back here again and again. I recommend this place to anyone. Sorry didn't get any pictures of the food. We were hungry. read more

The Al pastor is delicious and we would go back but with a little extra knowledge. Their regular tacos are what most other places would call street tacos. Can eat in 2-3 bites while their street tacos are like a bite and a half. Keep that in mind while ordering. They also don't have their menu up on the board. Looking online they have tons of options but the only thing they show on the board is their combos (fries and tacos...no thanks) so I recommend having the menu on your phone or knowing beforehand exactly what you want. First you make your order on one of 2 electronic PADs. After selecting, remember you haven't seen a human, and seeing the price, you are offered a chance to leave a tip. One of the choices is NO TIP fortunately. You can receive a receipt by either email or text, but not here and now. Now you locate a table bolted to the black floor, select a metal chair and wait. The PAD did not inquire where you would be, but after a short wait time, your order is delivered. We were not sure how she found us. We had a chicken burrito. It arrived on a small metal rectangular pan with a few chips. The burrito was OK except for an immense amount of RICE. There was a place with 4 large bowls of unnamed red and green liquid along with some tiny plastic receptacles into which there was no way to dip the chips. And there was a machine to get ice and various sodas and water. Two of the selections were "out of stock." There was a sign on the wall which proclaimed that on Thursday each entree came with a free beverage. We asked and received plastic ware to get that free soda. Place was clean, food was tasty, employee pleasant. All in all, not bad, but maybe just a little overpriced. read more
