Big Pig Sandwich

Watch out , look out! Great diner ahead! Out exploring and needed to fill up the tank. In downtown Casa Grande and found this little gem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy old skool diner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fast and friendly service. The food was great and I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. I picked the Big Pig Sandwich and it was a true meat fest. The biscuits are cooked in house as is the smoked pork. If you are out and about def recommend stopping in!

This is my favorite pinal county breakfast spot so far. The customer service is good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love to come here with my partner and play board games before breakfast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bakery is great. Cookies and cakes are moist.

I went in on Sun morning 4/12/26 for what should have been a nice family breakfast while visiting my dgtr and her family (they live in Casa Grande). There was a 25 min wait to get a table (6 of us) which was no problem. Once seated it took a few minutes to get drinks and another 15 plus minutes to place an order which we had to call the waitress over. Once we placed the order I figured it would take 15 to 20 max for our food so I administer my daughter her insulin. After 42 mins later I had to call the waitress over and asked her how much longer since we had all ready placed the order 45 mins ago and her response was like you guys are a large party and they are making it . Mind you it was 4 adults and 2 kids I asked her well bill me for the drinks I have dosed my dgtr and she now needs food for her insulin. She did bring her breakfast croissant 2 to 3 minutes later and our plates started coming out in shifts. Not once were we offered refills or asked how are food was. I was very disappointed with service provided from a small restaurant

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Food, Service and Ambiance are stellar reminds me of the many diners along the Route 66 in the mid 1960's.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

There is a lot of outdoor seating with various table sizes and chair heights. As I walked inside I was greeted by the staff behind the counter and I asked if I seat myself. The young lady behind the counter explained that I order at the counter, the menus were stacked by the register, and then can choose my table. The young lady was so friendly with a smile that lights up the room. I ordered Eggs Benedict with a large orange juice, and was offered 3 meat choices, bacon, ham or sausage, or all three. I decided to live a little and chose all 3. I paid for my meal and she was absolutely clear that tipping is completely optional, I really appreciated that. So many places with far below par service have come to expect tips. I was given a table marker and sat myself at a small round table by the window. Within a minute or so, another young lady brought my orange juice in a disposable cup. A few minutes after that, my breakfast was brought to the table. The sausage, ham, and bacon were all on top of the English muffins with poached eggs on top of that. Hollandaise sauce was slathered across the entire plate, it was luxurious! There were not potatoes included, but that is fine, as with the three meats it was very satisfying. I judge breakfast spots on how well they make Eggs Benedict, as not every place does it well, L'grande knocked it out of the park! The eggs were perfectly poached, not too runny. Every bite of my breakfast was incredible!!! This hidden gem in Casa Grande knows what they are doing and I sincerely look forward to returning and trying other menu options. Keep up the fantastic work ladies and gentlemen, this was a very pleasant experience.

The atmosphere was friendly and casual (very casual!), and they easily accommodated our party of five plus a baby. The menu covered all the breakfast and brunch basics (very basic!) --from acai bowls and burritos (which were more loaded with potatoes than eggs or protein) to omelets, or simply grabbing a latte--so everyone found something that suited them. Overall, it was comfortable and easy, though fairly unremarkable from a culinary standpoint. A bit old-fashioned, but worked well for an easy, low-pressure meet-up

There are so many fast food chains around the area.. but sometimes, you just want a meal made with love from a mom and pop shop! First of all, we don't have a Total Wine or BevMo in the area, so this is a great spot to find some unique beers, tiny bottles, wines and hard liquor. The store carries a good variety of unique flavors you typically don't see at a local grocery store. This place was POPPIN' as soon as we entered. It's a place to hang out to grab a brew with your crew along with some yummy sandwiches!!! I didn't expect the sandwiches to be HUGE, by the way. It's worth every penny and love the fact that their bread is fluffy! We got the Jimmy Kerr Duo (which is named after one of the streets in Casa Grande!) and cannot wait to try their other roast beef sandwiches! The staff here is also very welcoming and friendly, and they got my sandwich out QUICK despite it being an almost "full-house"! I would highly recommend this sandwich spot for any newcomers in town if you manage to stop by Casa Grande. :)
