First time visitor here! I was craving birria tacos and wanted to find a place close to home. I was excited to try the tacos. So they are good. But when my order was delivered, I was bummed by the size of the tacos. Yes...I know how big a corn tortilla is. But expected more for the price. They were tasty, but left me hungry. If it was an order of four, t this would be a different review. The service was great and I have no complaints about the ambiance. I'm still hungry.

AMAZING!! Came here with a family of 5 and the server, Alondria was so patient and helpful!! Food took less than 10 minutes to come out and everything was FRESH and HOT!!! Horchata is also phenomenal ;) will definitely be coming back!!

First time and had to try the birria. I got with a corn tortilla and the combo of the cheese and grilled beef was good. Watch out the orange sauce is very hot. Also took a flyer on the surf and turf tacos and had good results with no fat on the asada, but the taco in general was a bit messy to eat.

First time trying on national taco night October 7th, flavor was there but portion sizing wasn't...it was a street taco so it was smaller tortilla but taco would of been more suitable for my 2 year old, I bought 6 tacos but with this portioning I could of ate 15+ tacos

Food was just barely edible and not cheap. We'll never eat here again. Smallest tacos ever. Eventually we just tossed the food and left. Too loud to even talk. They have Mexican music pumping out on average at 81 db spiking to 95. Above 85 is damaging to one's hearing. Lots of other choices in the immediate area to bother with this place. The counter people couldn't even take our order without us repeating everything 2 tto 3 times. Big nope.

Hard pass......it was a no for us. First off $40 was expensive, second the employee couldn't tell us what kind of meat was in the food. The menu was a little confusing. Drink cups where all one size (M) also expensive. Birria Ramen was way too spicy and meat was super dry. The Birria tacos were super bland. And the burrito my husband got was just gross and bland, jumbled mess. Can not recommend, pictures are so deceiving.

Spent nearly $40 for "Birria" tacos that were tiny unflavored shredded beef tacos payed extra for consume that was flavorless. The "carne asada" was chewy and seemed boiled maybe. Either way it was by far the worst tacos I've had in my life. I feel robbed. Service was fine and restaurant was nice and clean but the food was dog water. Except the fries. The fries are legit.

Tiny... $2 each on taco Tuesday. Imagine paying $2.79 for each.... Buyer beware

Came for my 30 min lunch break, only one other person inside. Took no longer than 6 or 7 mins for my food to come out (2 carne asada tacos and fries) Tacos were really good, wasn't expecting them to have cheese but it worked! they gave me two salsa bottles to go with my food as well. The food was great but the service wasn't. The girl running the register who also handled our food really needs to be taught about proper hygiene. She sneezed in her hands and wiped them on her pants then grabbed out food. Made me think of they handled the food like that in front of us, how do they handle it when we're not looking. Wouldn't go back to this location mainly cuz of that. read more

I always order the same thing off of uber eats: carne asada fries with no beans. last time i got it, i asked for my fries extra crispy because i noticed the quality lacking since the first time i got it. came to me with fries basically still soggy potatoes, a COUPLE pieces of lettuce on top (??? not im the ingredients list and didnt come on them before) and this gross store bought queso (also not on the ingredients list & also never on it before...). they were so good the first time, i just wish it remained consistent. its like the cook forgot the recipe, didnt cook the fries, and just kept going. this was on the 15th & I havent ordered since because i dont know what to expect :/ read more

First time going here today, so I thought I'd try it. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito w/sour cream, a side of beans, an el pastor burrito and two street Al pastor tacos. So let's begin. Bean and cheese burrito had no sour cream. The pastor on the street tacos was dry, the pastor burrito meat was dry. This is somewhat my fault, but not entirely. I got all the way home w/out my pastor burrito. They forgot to put it in the bag. I went back and got it. I also ordered a side of chips and the chips were not good...some of the chips had that undone coloration where they didn't cool long enough...chips could be really good, but the attention to detail on simple things was it good. I will say this....the hot sauce is good if you like it hot. It is hot and I loved it as well as the free. Tomatillo sauce was great as well. Will I go back.... ??? If I'm craving that hot sauce, then yes. My burrito was a 4.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. If the meat were seasoned a bit more and more tender, it could be a 7.5. Decent size burrito though. Food is good but service is super slow. There were only a few people in front of me and i waited over 30 mins for a small order. The people waiting were there for a while as well. Barria tacos were good. Other tacos with American cheese had a melted slice of kraft cheese which was hard by time we got home with the food. Probably would be better if eaten right away. There was no meat at all in our barria ramen, so paid a lot of money for a little extra sauce, cilantro and onion tossed in a bowl of ramen I could get for $1.50 at the store. Broth tasted good, but super disappointing when there's no meat. Staff was great, very clean restaurant. New North Phx location. read more

This food is just not good in the slightest. asada doesn't even look like asada and has no flavor. The al pastor is not edible. They use the smallest and cheapest corn tortillas they can find. And their ramen is just the Tapatillo ramens you buy at Food City. If you want anything to taste even edible, you need to drench it in their salsa, which is also not good. Wasted $40 on 5 tacos and carne fries. If you're looking for mediocre street tacos, this place doesn't even hit that mark. Would rather eat at Taco Bell. Would never come back. read more

Every day should be Taco Tuesday because this spot is awesome. I recommend the surf and turf tacos. The chicken is also seasoned delicious. I'm here the service is fast and fresh. After you order, the cashier hands you a thermal paper receipt. You then take that receipt to the person making the tacos, who takes it with the same gloved hands they'll use to prepare your food. They handle receipt after receipt from every customer and then continue assembling tacos without changing gloves or washing their hands. As someone who pays attention to food safety and hygiene, this was pretty off-putting. Gloves only help if they're changed after touching non-food items. It would be much more sanitary if the order were displayed on a screen, called out verbally, or if employees changed gloves after handling receipts before preparing food. The tacos are excellent, but I hope they improve this part of their food-handling process because it's an easy fix that would make the overall experience much better.

I ordered the veggie tacos with roasted sweet potatoes (skin on, which was absolutely the right call), pepitas, feta, and all the right toppings. Whoever prepped those sweet potatoes deserves a raise because they were cut into the perfect sized pieces. Every bite had a little sweetness, a little crunch, a little saltiness... it just worked. My dining partner ordered the barbacoa tacos, and I didn't even have to ask if they were good. The involuntary "Mmm..." after the first bite answered that question. Four tacos disappeared in record time, followed by, "I could've eaten two more." That's about as glowing of a review as you're going to get. Now let's talk about these tortillas. Handmade. Corn. Tortillas. Are you kidding me? They're the kind of tortillas that had me question every tortilla I've ever eaten. Soft, fresh, and somehow they manage to steal the spotlight even with everything else on the plate being so good. The chips and guacamole were excellent, too. The chips have to be made in-house and they disappeared at an alarming rate. The salsa that came with them had this smoky, fire-roasted, chipotle flavor that kept me reaching for another chip... and then another... and then suddenly I realized I'd eaten way more chips than I intended. The bottled table salsas deserve their own paragraph because they completely confused me... in the best way. They bring three to the table... a green, a red, and a darker red. I kept tasting them individually thinking, "Okay, these are alright." Then I started mixing them. Game over. On their own, each one was solid. Mixed together? That was the magic. I don't know if that's what they intended or if I accidentally stumbled onto the perfect combination, but from that point on, every taco got the salsa trio treatment. The only tiny hiccup was when we first walked in. We were greeted, asked if we wanted menus, and sat ourselves. We waited for a bit thinking someone would come take our order, only to realize it's actually counter service. Once we figured that out, everything was smooth sailing. Not a big deal at all... just something first-time visitors might want to know. Follow the sign "order here" I also loved the layout. You can actually watch them making the food, which somehow makes the wait even harder because everything smells incredible. Two tacos ended up being the perfect light meal for me. Could I have eaten ten? Absolutely. Those two statements can both be true. Meanwhile, my dining partner polished off four barbacoa tacos and was talking about ordering two more. We only ended up here because another place happened to be closed, and honestly, I'm glad it worked out that way. This ended up being one of those meals we keep talked about on the drive home. Oh and the bathrooms?. I walked in and immediately thought, "Whoa... this is a cool bathroom" The lighting had this pinkish-purple glow that made me feel like I'd accidentally wandered into a trendy lounge instead of a taco shop. I honestly wasn't even sure there was regular lighting in there and I didn't look... because the vibe seemed so intentional. Finally, the music. .. upbeat, dance-worthy, the kind that had me bouncing in my seat while waiting for my food. Between the atmosphere, the lighting, and the music, the whole place had me want to hang out a little longer. Zero regrets. I'll absolutely be back... and next time I'm ordering more tacos.

I've been coming to this location for about a year now, but unfortunately the quality and service have seriously gone downhill. On my most recent visit, the food was just bad. We ordered two asada tortas, and they were completely soaked in oil. The bread was so soggy and falling apart that it felt either old or improperly prepared, making it really unpleasant to eat.
