There isn't a dining room or seating area, so it's more of a grab-and-go experience. We ordered the warm lobster rolls with butter, and they did not disappoint. Staying at hotel next to this place, always a long line most of the days. Decided I had to try it out. I'm so disappointed in the portion size. I just paid $22.99 for a jumbo size lobster roll. What i got was a wad of lobster in a texas toast folded in half. This is ridiculous. I really thought they messed up and gave me a regular size or even small. Went back to the walk up window and asked if this was right and they confirmed it was right. The girl confirmed she weighed it out to 5.5 oz. Pictures below. Oh year I put the key fob in the tray so you can see how small the sandwich is as a reference. I was expecting a meal, got myself an expensive appetizer, Next time i'll go to jimmy johns and have a giant sandwhich for the same price. That will last me two meals. Lots of bad reviews for bad service but my order went through pretty seamlessly. I placed my order online for a $14 lobster roll and was pleasantly surprised. I got a text when my order was ready and walked over to the small window and picked it up. Had to ask for my soft drink but everyone was polite. The roll looked small at first but I will say that it was very satisfying and delicious; especially at that price. I had it with the seasoned lemon butter. Was that the right choice? Let me know. We watched the quality and amount in Angie's lobster rolls deteriorate and we stopped going. While I am from the East Coast (where lobster rolls are a staple) I am a realist. This is Arizona after all. Apparently there were enough complaints that Angie's publicly acknowledged that they needed to do better and we thought we'd check. Last week, friends surprised us with what they thought was a New England treat. We hid our disappointment. Time to update my review! I've checked in here 31 (!) times according to Yelp and its been 3 years since my initial review. I love Angie's and glad that they are around, and my only wish is that they open more locations, especially around the Scottsdale area. This location was initially Angie's Lobster, but they are also Angie's Prime Grill, so they have salads, wraps, bowls, etc. Depending on what time I visit is what affects my ordering style. If I'm stopping by after work and am not rushed, I will order via the drive-thru. If I'm coming before work, I'll order online and use the walk-up window. Thankfully, haven't had to wait too long either way. Their walk-up window is right past the drive-thru on the left, basically the back side of the building. I park in the spots near the apartments and cross the rock barrier to get to it (just watch out for the cars exiting). I mostly order their salads, especially since they are only $5 with grilled chicken or falafel. I prefer the chicken but sometimes I'm in the mood for something different, so I'll do the falafel (though it can be on the dry side). My personal favorite is the Asian salad, can't get enough of the combination and the teriyaki sauce is so good. I've tried their other salads like the spicy honey ranch and that one is solid as well. Breakfast is okay here, not my favorite but it's a good deal if I'm around in the morning. I do miss their french toast! I'd always order that with no meat, and they would give me eggs instead which was cool. Since I'm not a lobster fan, I don't order that BUT their fried shrimp is super good, especially with the spicy honey. And their fries are pretty solid, sometimes I'll just order them by themselves for a snack. Haven't tried the warm bowls or wraps yet but I'm not a fan of brown rice so not sure if I'll like the bowls. I love that they add new items pretty regularly. I've tried their quesadilla, snack wrap, and crunchwrap supreme, all of which are pretty good and cheap. Today, I saw that they have a new salad deal, which is a salad (chicken/falafel/avocado), cheese quesadilla or garlic flatbread, and a drink for only $6.99! Such a good deal, I had to order it. I have been to the Pinnacle Peak location many times and this time its terrible. Not only has the prices gone up, the quality, the amount of lobster, the bread and the fries have all gone downhill. We ordered 4 meals, just the Maine Lobster roll is $15.99 + $2 for fries and a drink. They stacked 4 meals in a single bag, crushing thw bread. We paid $78.51 for this and it was not worth it at all. The lobster was tough, the fries were cold! I asked for the meal deal with the fries and drinks for $2.00 more and they said they didn't have a meal deal with the lobster roll! So, I paid $3.00 more to add the fries and didn't get drinks. It cost $40 for 2 small dry lobster rolls and cold fries. Their website advertises to $2.00 more meal deal. Very disappointed! The food is really good but you HAVE to check your order before you drive away. 8 out of 10 times it's made wrong.

This place started off great but now literally you can't even get a salad correct that's a standard salad without any changes. The last 3 times we've been there they get the order wrong when placed online or at the window. Last time I got the Caprese salad no changes and I was missing dressing and the mozzarella. First impressions on arriving and not familiar with the process process is quotation. "What the hell?" The place is in a converted building that was definitely not selling food in the past. As mentioned before it's drive-through, but it does have a walk up counter, however, there is no sidewalk that alerts you that there's a walk up counter on the opposite side of the building. They have two lines one for the aforementioned walk-up and the other four Uber/DoorDash clientele. On my visit the standard walk up window was closed so you were forced to place an order online and pick it up through the Uber/DoorDash window. Menu is pretty expansive, a lot of things outside of lobster. I also ordered 4 of their grilled shrimp Drinks are really impressive. I love their fresh squeeze juices. I opted for their fresh squeezed lemonade with mint and pineapple as an upgrade. Got a simple "cold" lobster roll and french fries for the side. There's no where to sit and dine,I ended up just posting up at a retention wall next to the drive thru. It was actually pretty chill until all,the flies found me. Quite possibly the best bang for your buck in Phoenix! I no longer live in Phoenix, but travel back a couple times a year. Angie's has been on my list of places to try for a while now and I'm so glad I made it a priority to get this time. Just had the lobster roll here and it was entirely disappointing. There recipes have changed and quality and size has decreased. I did not realize that you can ask for it warmed or chilled, so I had to warm it up (because I got it chilled). It's a little more expensive ($2, I think) to get it warmed. It's packed separately -- the lemon butter is packaged, so I mixed the lobster bits and lemon butter together. Speaking of, there's a good amount of lobster. VEGETARIANS, VEGANS, PESCATARIANS BEWARE!!! I am pescatarian (only eat seafood but no meat/poultry). I ordered a protein bowl with shrimp, double broccoli, and sweet potato. I was in shock when I discovered I had chicken in my bowl along with the shrimp. I went to the pick-up window and showed the worker. He said that the broccoli is cooked right next to the chicken so it gets in it. That's awful. What about people with food allergies as well?! They said they don't give refunds so would remake it. This review is for the Baseline Rd location. First, I want to say that I've been patronizing this location for a couple of years and the food is fantastic (except the fries). Unfortunately during my recent visit, as I placed my order, I had to bite my tongue to stop from asking, "Am I bothering you??" Then, when I pulled ahead to get my food, I saw the sign in the window. People, if you have to put up a sign telling your customers that you're not deliberately trying to be rude, you have a problem. I've come to this restaurant location for a couple of years now. I understand price increases, but what started out at $9.99 is now $16.99 in just a couple of years. To add insult to injury, the service has gotten horrible. I'm writing this review while I'm sitting in line waiting to order. It's already been 35 minutes in line and there were only 4 cars ahead of us to begin! Unfortunately, once in line, you're trapped as other cars join behind you. Finally got to the window and got my order, in total it took 40 minutes! And there were only four cars in the line! By the time we left, there were at least eight cars in line behind us probably quite frustrated but, like us, unable to leave once they joined the line. We did ask the worker what the problem was, and he indicated that a grill was broken and they were understaffed. My fries were cold, but after that wait and the workers' explanation I wasn't going to add to his problems by complaining. This situation is not the workers' fault. but Angie's operation is clearly understaffed and failing. And meanwhile, Angie's is raising its prices astronomically! I won't be returning. Angie's has been my go to spot for affordable lunches but filling for the past year now. This location can be quite busy around peak lunch hours so be prepared to wait. Because of the nature of the restaurant, the service tends to be fast even if there is a wait. If I don't have much time I will order online in advance on their website which I highly recommend if you're on the go. The food quality is great for the price and they have many options/customizations depending on your dietary needs. I'm taking my review back to 4-stars... I think they have gone back to a card-only payment model as I've noticed the line is moving more quickly again. The standard "lobstah" roll meat volume is still less than when they started, but now you can "double meat" if you'd like for a $8 fee (I guess that's one way of justifying the affordable price of the roll which now starts at $14), but that makes the roll now $22 to start (yikes). I've recently been enjoying the cod sandwich here more than the lobster (a sentence I never thought I'd write). Nice crispy large cod pieces yet the fish is nice and tender inside. I'm not saying the price increase is unexpected, let's face it, all prices have gone up these days. I think the best deal here now is the salads so give one of those a try sometime. read more
