This place is small & simple. I do wish they had a larger dining area. Apart from the small space, nothing is lacking. Their food is remarkably good. I was SO pleasantly surprised. Their sandwiches offer super fresh, gorgeously healthy, leafy green lettuce. Their multigrain bread is super soft and tasty. I am not a "bread person." Normally, at other eating establishments, I just tolerate the bread my sandwich is made of ... Focusing on the other ingredients & their taste. This is different. I actually LOOK FORWARD to consuming the bread part of my sandwich, too. Even the crust is great. Their Chicago dog is fantastic and served on a huge gourmet bun. So yummy. Everything served is aesthetically pleasing. The service is always friendly. The staff wear a smile at all times, and there is no shortage of humor. This is especially nice, for people like me, who came across this restaurant by passing it whilst entering and exiting the building we each visit multiple times per week for post-car-accident recovery reasons (Innovative Injury Solutions/Innovative Pain and wellness share their building). When a person has been in chronic pain for several months, this kind of service is much appreciated. On my first visit, I ate at City Square out of convenience. Now that I have experienced much of what they have to offer, I can't leave the building after my physical therapy sessions or pain injections without stopping in for lunch. It is too good to pass up this food and eat anywhere else. I take every available opportunity to enjoy their food, and I am so grateful they are here. If they ever open a location in north Scottsdale, I am convinced they'd make a mint! Thanks City Square Deli! Go try it Yelpers. You will love it.

They are right inside the doors.

I love City Square Deli! My office is very close to this location and it's nice to have quality food in an area that only seems to have fast food places. The place is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I have had sandwiches and salads here, nothing from the grill, but food is always good. Today I got a Cobb salad and it's the perfect size with fresh quality ingredients. I always order online and pick it up to bring back to the office, but they do have some seating (not a lot) on site. I've also used them to order food for office working lunches and never had any issues. A tip for anyone going here for the first time: they are a little hard to find and there's no signage outside. They are on the first floor of the Deer Valley Financial Center.

    The Classic Chef Salad!

The food here is always good! The salads are my fav! They are loaded with everything you need !

City Square Classic. Very good, would be even better with avocado

This diminutive deli is located inconspicuously inside a financial center, across the hall from a bank. Luckily, one of the three dining tables was vacant, so we chose to eat-in. My bae ordered the City Square Classic, which was pretty darned tasty. Next time, I'll be getting this, and paying the up-charge for some sliced avo. I went with the french dip, which was meh. Nothing special, a tad underwhelming, wont order it again. They had an array of baked goodies available for purchase. We went with a dark and crisp chocolate chip cookie which she gave a thumbs up to... adding that it would have been even better with walnuts. Because the inside dining area is so confined, it did provide some awkward moments when a group of 8 descended at once. There is at least one table in the hallway and a table or two outside

Had the Chicken Chipotle Sandwich today. It is a large sandwich and this is only half of it. The sauce has a kick to it but it's very tasty.

This is half of the chicken chipotle sandwich. The sauce has a great kick and super tasty. All their food is made to order and does not disappoint.

Doing Sandwiches Right Today, we went to City Square Deli and Grill for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious. I've had many sandwiches from all over the valley and the folks at City Square are doing up sandwiches right. Lookout, AJ's Whole Foods, Jimmy Johns, Quiznos, Capriottis, and all the others; City Square is here. We really enjoyed our first visit to City Square. The menu has plenty of options, fillled with high quality meats, for the meat-eaters and a large selection of vegetarian options, if meat isn't your thing. All of the breads are made fresh and you can tell with your first bite. The sourdough was absolutely delicious, soft, crispy, everything that sourdough should be. I can't wait to try some of the other bread options on my next visit. The staff at City Square were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accomdating. If your in the area give City Square a try. Expect great sandwiches, salads, and the best customer service.

Soup of the day! 16oz cup of chili. Very good with great flavors!

I have had this place saved on yelp to try for the longest time... Today I finally got to put my taste buds to the test!! We ordered a bulk order to be delivered to my work for lunch. Their online ordering system makes it's super easy to place your order online and set a delivery time. Tons of options on the menu to satisfy everyone! This made it great for everyone in the office to pick a variety of things. I got the strawberry avocado salad with raspberry vinaigrette and a cup of chili. All the ingredients were so fresh! The romaine lettuce was crisp and washed, the strawberries were sliced fresh, and the avocado was bright green and perfectly ripe. The dressing was very delicious as well and the salad was a great size. The chili had great flavor! If I had to be picky I would say maybe it could come with a small side of cheese to sprinkle on top but other than that it was good and they supplied crackers to crush on top. Everyone's food looked great and came perfectly as ordered. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more items. Highly recommend for an office lunch as they did fantastic with our bulk order. Thank you city square deli & grill!

Quick service, super friendly staff, tasty food. What more could you want? A great little take out spot hidden in an office building.

She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down and checked on us just the right amount. We ordered two BEC sandwiches, which sadly are no longer on the menu, but wow, they were delicious! The bacon was cooked to perfection, crispy and flavorful, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Instead of the greens, we opted for the Million Dollar Potatoes and they were super yum! Such a tasty choice and the perfect addition to the meal. Great service, delicious food, and a lovely breakfast experience. Thank you, Arely, for taking such good care of us. We will definitely be back!

The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

The staff was friendly throughout our stay, and the overall property has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
