Pollo Asado Burrito really good chicken with nice selection of sauce ingredients fresh and well prepared

Definitely the best Mexican food in Miami! I've been to the wynwood location and tried out the 8th street location recently. We went on a Friday night, so there was unfortunately a line. The parking situation isn't the best unless you're lucky (like us) and someone left their spot as we pulled into the parking lot. The food is consistent with their other locations and genuinely the best Mexican food. Inside there's lots of seating and the service is great but sometimes slow.

Carne Asada, Pollo Asado and the Nopal taco

Tacos have always been a hit or miss for me. Usually a miss and The Taco Stand is not the exception. I ordered the Carne Asada, Pollo Asado and the Nopal taco. When I got them, I first noticed how un presentable it was. I like how they pinch the bottom but the down side is that all the filling is then pushed to the top which makes messy when trying to eat. The flavor was decent, I wouldn't say it was delicious but it was alright. My major con is the lack of seasoning, everything felt under season. The Taco Stand is fast casual, so you order in the front and wait for them to call your name. The service was friendly but since it's fast casual you usually don't interact much with the employees. Next time I go I'll try something else from their menu.

I came here for dinner the last taco Thursday while in the Little Havana area. I've been to their Wynwood location more than a couple of times in fact that they make their tacos and burritos fresh to order. Yes, that means you're going to wait a little bit! This last visit, I started with the bucket of chips and saturated it with fresh pico de gallo from the salsa bar. They have eight different salsas to choose from. The chips were crispy perfect to snack on. My very large burrito was full of fresh, rotisserie style chicken, very flavorful and a good balance of the other toppings. In fact, it was so full of seasoning that it became deconstructed. Messy street food is the best kind of street food!

I cannot stop raving about this place. Coming from LA, there are more taco stands than there are people and it's hard to find a good one, but this chain needs to come to LA!!! All of the salsas, esquites, aguas frescas, handmade tortillas and flavorful carnes. Everything was so good!!! BRB booking a flight to MIA now so I can go eat here.

The Taco Stand in Wynwood is one of my favorite taco places in Miami and this location delivers the same fresh, made to order quality food without the hassle of going to Wynwood. The times I have been to this location there hasn't been a very long line and there is ample seating. Since the food is still made to order, you do have to wait a bit for your food still, but it's worth it! My all time favorite is the El Pastor.

By far the best taco place outside of Mexico City and in Miami. Place was styled after places in Mexico, simple but efficient. Staff was very friendly and calls out to let you know when your order is ready for pickup. Tacos, corn and guacamole were all fresh and delicious and I was happy about the mushroom tacos and burritos. Nice selection of cervezas and amazing michelada! Only thing I could think to improve it would be if more vegetarian options were offered and if there was outdoor seating, as the AC was set so high it made sitting inside too long uncomfortable.

Excellent tacos. Large seating. Fun atmosphere. The tacos here are delicious! I particularly enjoyed the Camaron and Sonora tacos. The Camaron tacos (Shrimp) was flavorful, and loaded with Avocado, cheese, cabbage, toppings, and sauces. The Sonora was a steak tacos loaded with cheese, beans, Avocado, guacamole, onions and cilantro. The Pollo asada and the loaded fries were also a hit. What makes these tacos flavorful are the fluffy corn tortillas and they are served fully loaded. Most places only give you onions and cilantro. Taco stand gives you the works!! The staff was friendly, and the service was fast!

Chicken tacos with guac, steak with guac

Found this place on vaca that is open late night. They fry fresh churros to order that were an amazing way to end the meal. The star is the salsa bar with over 6+ free salsa options and fresh toppings like pickled onions, pico, creamy avocado sauce etc. food is fresh and cooked to order. Must eat fast because the cold toppings cool the food down quickly. Very clean inside and was full for a 1am meal. (Bonus - they have a location in Dallas as well)

Pretty good spot for tacos. I ordered delivery which probably isn't the best for tacos but after a quick air fry they were good! The chips were so crunchy and perfectly salted and the guac was fresh. The carne asada and al pastor tacos were so flavorful but the fish taco was lacking. The shrimp taco was also great! Overall would go back here but go to the actual restaurant (not delivery).

    Spacious and bright dining area.

Little Havana location is just as good as wynwood location but a bit slower on preparing orders. Indoor dining only but it's very spacious with plenty of seating. Another enjoyable dining experience.

Came here for lunch and got the shrimp quesadilla. It was huge and super cheesy!! I loved the salsa bar! Definitely a good spot for a quick meal.

    Leslie S.

Pros: wow, wow, wow, DELICIOUS. The place is understated but don't let the outside fool you, the tacos are phenomenal. I had the shrimp taco and mushroom taco and they were the best tacos I've had in a long while. The music selection was also 10/10 with some banging salsa oldies. Cons: The only con is that it's not closer to my house. Will return soon.

The service was just okay and the music too loud for my liking, making it perhaps not ideal for families with children. It was very busy and not necessarily spacious. However, the food is transcendent. Everything that we tried was outstanding, even the chicken nachos and quesadilla. They season and cook everything properly. The beef tacos were fresh and tasty and the quesabirria tacos were even better. Great flavor and balance. What takes this restaurant to an elite level is the mole. It is exquisite and a rare find.

When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

Mauricio was at the bar and we definitely missed being under his attention by not sitting there. Eliezer (the Venezuelan waiter from Mérida) took care of us in the dining room. Both are always very friendly and attentive. This time we decided to sit in the dining room because we were a group of three and had a lot to talk about. The place has 4 TVs and we were able to enjoy the France vs Spain match. We all ordered La Tropical Draft beer, a light, smooth, and very refreshing blonde. In total we had 16 beers . We shared nachos with grilled steak, which were very good (they pour the melted cheese right at the table). We also ordered tripa tacos well toasted (that's the technique) as we requested, and they came out excellent. Note: They have different promotions or offers depending on the day, not a regular happy hour variety, so it's good to be aware of that. The restaurant offers a good variety of 8 salsas: Sirloin, Chips, Guacamole, Verde, Vicente, Pastor, Chilanga, and Asada. Good atmosphere, pleasant service, and tasty food. We'll definitely keep coming back.

The server was phenomenal, and the food tasted great, though portions run a little small for the price. One thing that caught me off guard: most of the table ordered tacos and enchiladas, but when the plates arrived, the "tacos" were essentially flautas and the "enchiladas" were more like tacos (the photo shown is the enchiladas). Naming aside, both dishes were delicious. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the staff sang for her and brought out a complimentary dessert--hands down the best brownie dessert I've ever had. The drinks were good, the food came out hot, and the ambiance was wonderful, with friendly, kind staff throughout. What did we order? Chorizo Queso: Not your traditional dipping queso, but FULL of flavor and the chorizo was great, decent portion. The table loved this. Comes with some warm fresh purple corn tortillas! 9/10 Guacamole: Nothing extraordinary, standard guac, I wish there was more guac and chips! The tortillas these come with are the same as the queso but fried and uncut. A little different but it was a nice change! 7/10 Chicken and Chorizo Enchiladas: Not your standard enchilada that you may be used to! Full of flavor though and everything was cooked very well! 8/10! The menu said that they had alcohol, but apparently not on that week, supposedly for some bureaucratic issue. The tacos were served with just the tortilla and the meat, along with a basket of fixings, such as cilantro and line.
