How I came to this Place was truly just a random night that I arrived in Miami and was starving so I just decided to seek the first thing that was open and just grab some food, am I glad I did, I just decided to go here and instantly while I was looking for a parking I saw a line of people outside, so I knew it had to be good. As we got closer to the line I realize that everything was made from scratch and fresh as it was ordered. This was another good sign that the food was going to be good, I just ordered two things off the menu I thought would be good and decided to dine in and eat. Wow, the Al Pastor Burrito was fresh and Packed with good flavor, two things give it The cake it needed was the sauce and the pineapple that day please in the burrito. It makes a huge difference and it gives it the Taste a delicious kick. I followed it up with the Tierra y mar order and Didn't even have the stomach to finish it all, it was so good. The combination of shrimp, steak, french fries and cheese dipping just did the entire thing for me. So, you're hungry, it's 7:15 on a Saturday night, and you find yourself in Wynwood. This is where you're eating if you haven't planned a week ahead to book a reservation at the other restaurants in the area. So, thank goodness that The Taco Stand's food offerings are DELICIOUS and that The Taco Stand DOESN'T require a reservation. You might be taken aback by the line literally out of the door, but it moves relatively quickly. The first couple of times, I ordered different tacos to see which ones I liked the best. All of them are good. After that, I stuck with the burritos because... burritos. Iykyk. The last time I went, I saw a lot of people ordering the mar y tierra fries, which looked really good. I guess I'll try these next time. The food is super filling, but you should definitely leave room for an order of churros. They're crazy good because they're made to order, so you get them while they're warm and soft. Don't bother eating them later when they're cold because they're meant to be eaten warm with the dipping sauce they provide. I have to give four stars, though, because their soda fountain was awful the last time we went ie water coming out of lemonade, carbonated water coming out of Sprite, no carbonation for the other sodas that actually had syrups. It's good for a trendy taco place. It's not great but decent. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican foods (especially tacos, like me) this isn't the place for that. I had some carne asada tacos and they were good but not what I was used to. We also had a chicken burrito. Probably my least favorite. The beans in the burrito weren't the typical beans you'd find in a Mexican burrito. Maybe that's my fault for expecting something more authentic. We were in the mood for tacos and wanted to try some place new. Very happy we checked out The Taco Stand. We arrived around 7ish on a Tuesday night and there was a small line forming at the register. It took about 12 minutes to actually place the order. Not terrible, but I wasn't expecting it to take long. After placing our order, we sat down and waiting for our yummy tacos. The chips and guacamole were good. The shrimp taco was my favorite, followed up by the al pastor, but as you can see in the photo, that was the taco with the least amount of meat. Wish they would have added at least one more juicy morsel. The tortilla they use is delicious. If you're dining in, just be prepared for occasional holler from the counter once the order is ready. While visiting one of the Wynwood Museums, we stumbled upon The Taco Stand. Upon entering, we knew we hit the right spot. The place was pretty packed with patrons and we could smell the great aromas of the freshly made corn tortillas and meat. Service was fast and accurate and we sat directly in front of the kitchen prep area, which made for some entertainment while we were eating. We tried the Pescado And Pollo Asado Tacos and found them both to be sooo good! The tacos were packed full of the protein and when paired with some fresh chips and guacamole, we were in heaven. I've heard this place was good and finally got to try it! There was a line that was out the door, but it moved pretty quickly. I tried the pollo asado taco, carne asada taco, the nopal and the tacos al pastor. However my favorite dish was the quesadillas. The tortilla was perfectly crispy and the cheese was evenly spread throughout. It was all decently priced and they were ALL incredible. They have a variety of sauces, that are delicious but they have the hottest hot sauce I've ever had, so make sure to just add a dash of it because it will burn. The camaron were delicious, so flavorful. It had grilled shrimp, cheese, avocado, cabbage, tomato & chipotle sauce. The pescado was grilled Mahi Mahi fish, cabbage, cilantro, onions, tomato, avocado and chipotle sauce. The pescado tacos were good as they were grilled fish and not fried as they do have Baja taco for fried fish, but was trying to avoid fried option. Would return for the camaron as shrimp was grilled to perfection and even though it's supposed to be spicy, it had the right amount of spice, not too spicy for our pallet. Being a native Californian, I am extremely picky about my Mexican food. The Taco Stand totally killed it! Even my parents were floored! Honestly the best burritos I've had outside of California. That California Burrito is actually packed with protein vs rice filers, so refreshing. All the ingredients are fresh. There is a generous amount of guac. So I had heard from a few people that this was the best place in Wynwood to get tacos. Because of that I was pretty hype to eat here. I ordered the Pescado taco and Pollo taco. To be honest I was disappointed with my tacos. The integrity of the tortilla fell apart as I was trying to eat my tacos. The fish in the fish taco was actually just a plank and not really cut up or anything so that could be part of the reason why. The chicken taco stayed together better but it lacked flavor. They do have a sauce bar that has some good sauces. But basically without the sauce the taco was extremely lacking. With that bring said it was a really affordable place to eat and the service was pretty fast. The people working there were also really friendly and engaging. Cons: 14th person in line means you're waiting time 30 minutes or more, the grilled fish was very salty, and the kitchen was not very clean. Some negative things that happened during our dinner at the bar; one of the chefs picked something up off of the floor and threw it away and continued to make the tacos without changing gloves, the shrimp was raw so we couldn't eat two of the tacos, and it seemed like a free for all in the kitchen and very unorganized. The chefs were all laughing and messing around over the tacos it just seemed unsanitary. We will not be returning. Great concept, but if there is ever a manager there they need to control their employees a little better and work on organization and improving the business. read more

I had the surf and turf burrito and it was literally my dream burrito- it's filled with shrimp and steak with salsa, pico de Gallo, cheese and avocado. We were specifically looking for some fish tacos and this place came highly recommended. For $3 /fish taco, this was an AMAZING stop. We ended up trying one each of the Carne Asada, Pollo, Al Pastor, and Baja. By far, this was one of the better taco choices around the area, having previously tried $7 fish tacos in Miami Beach the morning before. Highly recommended!
