It was fairly early evening (or late afternoon), so no crowd to speak of, but the place was clean, comfortable temperature, and again, no negatives. Food itself was just fine. I've a great Mexican restaurant in my town, and this one is on par, probably a bit more 'American' Mexican, but some folks just can't stand the heat, so I'm sure Tiaquepaque has learned what it's community can tolerate and prefers. I had simple pork tacos, which were excellent; usual (good) beans and rice on the side. My wife had an enchilada plate which was also fine; came with a large plate of guac, salad greens, and I believe rice. The chips were great, salsa was good - and I spiced it up to our level with one of the hot sauces that were on the table. Honestly, it was one of the best meals we had in Galax. Will certainly eat here again when we visit Galax in the future, and that's a pretty sure thing too.
