The birds were so loud that we could hear them throughout the property and from inside our room. The beds were another disappointment. Rather than traditional hotel beds, they felt more like unstable cots that shifted with even slight movement, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was equally underwhelming. It consisted primarily of bags of bread left on the counter, cereal, and prepackaged foods, with very few fresh options. The property itself is the saddest part. It looks as though renovations were started but never finished. There were exposed wires, protruding nails, and unfinished construction throughout, making the entire place feel rundown and poorly maintained. It's disappointing because this used to be a true gem of the area and a destination people looked forward to visiting. Today, it feels neglected and in need of significant care and investment. I sincerely hope the owners are able to restore Webbs to the place so many people remember and loved.

I would definitely recommend staying at the Bemus Point lodge to anyone that asks. Adam and Kristi have a great lodge and are making improvements to it since they've bought it a few years ago. I changed my mind after receiving a marketing email from them. W O W! It really had me shaking my head. When we stayed, we reported so many things broken and unusable in our unit it got to be a joke. Important things like faucets and hot water. We HAD to laugh because we were stuck and they were barely responsive. We were there for a family funeral and didn't want to pile onto our family during a hard time. Whoever we were dealing with was super annoyed we found hot water and a working bathroom sink faucet important. Cabinets and faucets were literally falling off in our hands. One thing would break and we'd head into another area and pop...a cabinet knob would fall off. It was something I had never experienced before nor have I again with an AirBnB! To top that fun off, I had called probably a month before to cut our visit short by one night because we were going to need to get to the city to help our daughter move into college her freshman year. When I found that they hadn't canceled that night and had charged us, I contacted them and the person I spoke to said we never had the phone conversation and because I didn't have an electronic record and just trusted their "agent" I was out of luck and they charged me for the night anyway. Beyond lame. The audacity of their sending out their "friendly" solicitation message after their treatment of us during our stay and non-responsiveness afterwards was outrageous. So tacky! If you stay here, keep good records. Hopefully, they've fixed the many problems since our stay and have amped up their customer service (a LOT). I responded to their solicitation email and said basically what was above. Of course, no response. I would find another place, frankly.

My crown Manhattans are always made very well and they have the cheapest price on it in the area. They have solid wings. I've seen a lot of people eating their burgers, but I've never had one. I only come when they have bands because they have some of the best locals come through the doors. That place gets ROCKING with 4 deep at the bar and the dance floor full of every type of people. You see people from every income bracket and ethnic background here. This is a real let loose no one cares what you do type of place. The bar cranks drinks out and bus boys clear tables like a well oiled machine. I've seen it so packed people are on the sidewalk having a good time because they open all the doors in the summer so you can hear the bands as clear as day outside.
