That said, if I must put myself through torture there is no better place to do so (although Ministry of Waxing on South Molton St is comparable). The rooms are all individually decorated and the place has nice, thoughtful touches like sanitary products in the loo and baby wipes in the rooms. I've been using Strip since it opened over three years ago and I've almost never had the same therapist (admittedly, I've never asked for the same girl as I'm not good with names!) The skills and attention to 'wax detail' varies a lot so if you find a therapist who does a good job, I'd ask for her by name the next time you book and appointment. It's not very cheap. I'm on a second set of a courses (from memory, buy six, pay for five) but once the course I'm on is done I won't be getting another one. The thing I liked (note past tense) was that one could use the course at any of the branches. Since Strip has expanded into the City and West End, however, they've stopped allowing courses to be used across branches which makes it much less convenient for me as I liked to have the choice of going to a branch near home or near work. I believe this is because the branches are franchised out. But, honestly, should that be the customer's problem??

Then halfway through filling it in it was snatched from over my shoulder by a lady with red hair saying "NO NO NO Don't do that anymore" and pointed to a side room. We went into the room together where I explained I would like to know some more about the IPL hair removal for my bikini line. She quickly rushed through everything told me to get changed and meet her outside. NO talk about price, No talk about what shape or exactly how much I like taken off, No talk general chit chat, NO manners. Just literally a test section and out. I felt like cattle. Such an awful experience. Going to a salon is meant to be relaxing and a treat, I felt worse after my visit then when I first arrived there.

I had an awful experience, the receptionist I dealt with was too busy talking to other customers, she rushed me and i believe recommended the wrong amount of minutes. I believe her name was Helen, as I heard another customer say her name, she didn't give me any instructions on how to use the sunbeds, as Im A beginner when it comes to sunbeds and it was my first time at this particular shop. Furthermore the shop was untidy, and I was recommended 9 minutes, I come off burnt and was in quite a bit of pain. Maybe they should offer a consultation or something before recommending 9 minutes to a beginner.

Serviced by a few wonderfully friendly nature ladies I've so far always felt wery welcome, unhurried and satisfied with the excellent sunbeds and value for money. £70.00 buys me 120 minutes and all I need is 6 minutes twice a week to maintain a safe natural looking tan and this is my 4th week.
