Nice bartender, but the owners and clientele are Trumpy. Won't ever go back. Trump sits at the bar and that's enough reason to avoid.

Very surprised at what a great spot this is! We went to listen to live music- for a few musicians we follow. We ended up having a great meal, drinks. The service was amazing!! Friendly people , and great atmosphere! Indoor seating and outdoor. Free pool table!!

Came in on Sunday at around 3 pm, just in time to hear Big Bump play. Live music every Sunday from 3-6 PM. It's our first time and we're pleasantly surprised with the ambiance. The decor's garage inspired and very cool. We were greeted by Jenny, who was very friendly and attentive. I ordered Chardonnay and my husband and I split an order of yummy meatballs that were Sunday special for only $4!! They have really good Sunday Food and Drink Specials. Will definitely be back!! -

This is a members only bar but you can have guests. The membership is $10. They serve, pizza, wings, and have a full bar. You can sign for a membership at the kiosk near the entrance. Each visit thereafter, there's a checking in process. Not having this knowledge prior to stopping in initially had me feeling a bit out of place. Though, this bar appears to get pretty busy on the weekend. There was a live band performing during my visit also. There were some interesting items decorating the place. The drinks were reasonable and the wings were just ok. I ended up taking them to go. Although, I signed up for a membership, as I wanted to get a feel of the space...I'm contemplating a decision to return. Glad I finally got to drop in and see what this place that's tucked away has to offer.

A bar that's clean and inviting without having to be fancy ?? That's the vibe of garage tavern. Looking for a late night spot for drinks and something to eat not a easy feat in this area of Greensboro. This place covered all the bases though. You can order food from their sister restaurant down the strip and they bring it to your table. Live music on a Saturday , they played stuff we all knew which was great ! Nice big area lots of bar seating and tables and pool tables They have a full bar and lots of beer and cocktail and some wine choices. I got a Prosecco in a nice glass which surprised me. Beer and Tito's and soda and crown and ginger ale also made our table. So with drinks covered we moved onto food. The fries were crinkle cut , my fave ! With seasoning they def hit the late night foodie spot. The pizza was delivered in a massive box which scared us a little but when we opened it, it was just the large , must have run outta boxes !! Great thin crust and nice amount of sauce and pepperoni. Perfect . The bacon cheese fries and hot dogs our yelp chairman Erik had looked fully loaded and he didn't seem to have a problem with them! All in all it worked out to be the perfect place for us and what we needed . Nice choice Erik!!

I went to the Garage Tavern to see Mike Reno from the 80s group, Loverboy. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was great. It's a really nice place, plenty of room, clean, and a great place just to hang out for a few hours. It is a Members Only club and I was the guest of a member.

I ordered through Uber Eats, so I can't fairly rate the atmosphere or service. This review is based…read moresolely on the food. I ordered the Daddy's Philly with a side of pesto pasta salad and banana pudding. The Phily was really good. It came loaded with cheese, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños and Garlic mayo on a soft bun that wasn't soggy or stale. I was a little surprised because, despite the jalapeños, I didn't find it spicy at all. I love garlic but I think I would prefer regular mayo to the garlic mayo. Compared to other cheesesteaks I've had, I'd give it a 7.5/10. Instead of fries, I chose the pesto pasta salad. The pasta itself had the perfect chewy texture, and I honestly wanted to keep eating it. Unfortunately, it was too salty for my palate. I could only manage a couple of bites, which was disappointing because the texture was amazing.....like how do you get your pasta to that texture, spill the beans! Haha For dessert, I tried the banana pudding. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite style. I personally prefer banana pudding that's light, fluffy, and silky. This one was much thicker and heavier than what I grew up eating, so it just wasn't my preference. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, especially the Daddy's Philly. Of course, everyone's tastes are different, so these are simply my personal preferences. I'd still encourage you to give it a try and decide for yourself. Ciao for now!

The turkey burger was also a standout- juicy, well-seasoned, and generously sized. While the truffle fries were soft rather than crispy, they were surprisingly delicious and full of flavor. Even during a busy time, the wait was very reasonable, making for a smooth dining experience. There was plenty of convenient parking, and the staff was welcoming and friendly from start to finish. I would definitely return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an outstanding meal.

Dodging a huge rainstorm we decided to sit at the bar and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We sampled a beer or two before deciding on a couple suds and the poutine appetizer while we decided on the main event. The place was fairly busy and they do have a decent outdoor patio also. It's a chill, hole in the wall, neighborhood watering hole type of place. We chatted with a few locals and my wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere. They had some great beers on tap including several from Foothills brewery and also full liquor bar to send a few rounds for any occasion. I settled on the Mad Haddock (I know who orders the fish at a burger place) and my lady had French onion burger. The deep fried asparagus was a playful side that was memorable. We both really enjoyed the choices. The fries could've been more crisp but overall they were passable. The haddock sandwich was incredible and that tartar sauce was incredible. The sandwich was one of those that you don't put down after a few bites. I enjoyed the food, friendly service and conversation with locals. They recommended a bottle shop connected to a laundromat not far away but we had to get back on the road. If you are in the Greensboro area Hops is worth a stop for happy hour, lunch or dinner.

It's a great little restaurant with a fun atmosphere and great music. We started with the Fried Goat Cheese Balls and the Fried Cauliflower, and both were excellent. The goat cheese balls were crispy on the outside and creamy inside, while the cauliflower was perfectly fried and packed with flavor. I ordered the Jalapeño Popper Burger special, and it was phenomenal. Juicy, cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of heat and all the flavors you'd expect from a great jalapeño popper. Easily one of the better specialty burgers I've had. They also have a great beer and wine selection, which made it easy to find the perfect pairing with our meal. If you're traveling and looking for something far better than the usual fast food off the interstate, Hops Burger Bar is absolutely worth the quick detour. Great food, great service, and a place we'll make a point to stop at again the next time we're passing through.

They have games, pool tables, darts, basketball, arcade machines, outdoor seating, and a welcoming setup that makes it easy to hang out for a while. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our total wait time from sitting down to receiving food was about 21 minutes, which felt reasonable considering drinks and appetizers came out first. The deep fried crab balls were delicious, and the fries were cooked perfectly. For the wings, we tried multiple flavors including Atomic Buffalo, Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, and Jerk. The cook on the wings was excellent -- crispy without being dry. Some flavors stood out more than others depending on personal preference, but the Sweet Chili and Teriyaki were favorites for our table. The ranch was also really good, which definitely matters with wings. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food made this a fun experience and we'd return again.

We arrived with only 2 other cars in the parking lot, which made us question if they were even open...as it turn out they were, but my wife, and I were the only patrons. We walked in to an unlit foyer, saw some light on in the bar area, so poked our heads in to ask if they were open. The bartender welcomed us and assured us they were, and invited us to seat ourselves. We grabbed seats at a high top, and she brought over the menus and took our drink orders. First thing I noticed was the table tops were not flat, they were wavy and made it very easy to spill your drink, so beware, and be careful where you put your drink down. The menu was pretty standard bar food, burgers, sandwiches, wings and other fried items. I decided to try their build your own burger, an 8oz patty with choice of cheese and toppings. Only side options were fries or hot chips. Food was quick to come out, but again, we were the only people there. The burger was OK, although just a frozen patty, they grilled up, the fries were good, but the portion felt a little small. Overall it was okay, perhaps they're still trying to get thing figured out. The bartender was friendly though. I didn't see a bar menu, but from what I could see they had a fully stocked bar. As we left, we poked our head around to the other side of the building to find a golf simulator, some billiards tables and a few arcade games. Lots of tvs every where though, probably a good place to catch a game.
