Finally checking this place out! Been on the brewery hitlist for a hot min! They've been open 7yrs & I've been tryna make it here for just over 3! Did not disappoint! The vibe is pure microbrewery and I'm so here for it! They are a hybrid brewery/taproom so they have 5-6 of their own beers and a variety of other local/NC breweries, which is great to keep options open while also showcasing in-house brewing! Jeff, the owner & brewer, was behind the bar when I came in and he is the epitome of the foundation of the craft brew scene. All of the in-house beers were fantastic! The quality and beer artistry that went into the beers was evident with each sip! Also, u gotta luv a place that commits to a theme! This one is board sports and from the name to the decor to the beer names, it is ubiquitous and I'm so here for it! The taproom is small yet weirdly spacious...w/bar, table, upstairs, and even patio seating! So come for the beers and stay for the flight boards (as each one is unique)! Beers had: -Vert Ramp Vanilla Cream Ale 5.3% The flavor notes on both the nose & body/finish on this one -Mile Marker 55 Mango Wit 5% Luved that the hint of very distinct mango was on the finish and the wheat/wit was on the front/middle palate! -Morning Sesh Coffee Stout 7% The coffee was prevalent but not overpowering...I could have this beer w/bfast! Made w/Dark Roast Sumatra -Get Barreled BBA Stout 10.1% This is perfection for the abv; no cloying sweetness, u get the toffee/vanilla behind the finish from the barrel-aging but the tannins & malt from the stout -in-barrel come through gorgeously giving u an unsweet BBA stout that holds up to the 10.1% -Shape Shack Passion Fruit Pear Sour 3.4% I usually don't do sours but this one drinks like a prickly pear (fruit) margarita, and I'm not mad about it! read more

A hidden tap room gem in High Point! Goofy has a few of their own small batch beers plus a solid of local and national options. I had their cider and ginger beer. Both were such great options for wanting something on the lighter side! It is a relaxed, laid back, and welcoming environment. I love how you can also bring your own food! There are many places to order from near by. Another pro is that they have so many board game options! Def recommend this fun, easy spot to hang out at. read more

I was curious to come check out the spot after tasting some really good brews (Sk8er Girl) at the Carolina Core Brews Fest. I went with #15, a fruited Gose, Scrub It, Kook!, and it was perfection. It also happened to be Wine Wednesday and they offered a Reisling that's always been a favorite for 5 bucks, so how could I not? While they don't offer food, they have nearby delivery options from nearby restaurants available and advertise that throughout the bar. Our bartender was great and we enjoyed the vibe, so we'll be back for another round in the near future. read more

We're so lucky to have a broad selection of craft beer options in the Triad, and Goofy Foot is right there among them. Offering a selection of their own micro brews along with other local craft favorites, you're sure to find a beer you like. There's also a large can and bottle selection in the refrigerator to choose from, along with wine and frozen beverage options to round out the options. There is ample seating both inside and out, with a very relaxed vibe. The staff and patrons alike are friendly. With music and a shelf full of board games, this is a fantastic spot to relax with a few friends for an evening. This is such a cute little tap room in High Point! My family and I decided to have a few pre dinner drinks here and they had a great selection of beer on tap as well as wine slushies. I love a good gose/sour/cider and they had several on the menu so I got a flight. I loved that they have a downstairs area and an upstairs area that has more casual seating and a selection of games. Great little secret. Great atmosphere, great people and best of all great beer! On weekends there can be live music and some times game nights. Patios in the front and rear are great when the weather is willing. Most folks grab food at one of the local places and bring it in. Visited for trivia and picked up a super yummy apple slushy with some kind of rum and a little bit of cinnamon and it was the perfect harvest drink to pair with racking my brain. Bartender was super sweet, trivia girl was entertaining. Really cute interior all snapped up for Halloween and accommodates not only people downstairs, but in a little loft upstairs. Wow, great little tap room. They have a few of their small batch beers and a bunch of regional and national crafts, 18 taps. You can bring your own food or order from many of the nearby restaurants. Small but mighty! Goofy Foot is a great after work or weekend hang out spot. They have a small bar inside and a few patio tables outside (which is the best spot on a nice cool day). An outstanding taproom owned by great people with a growing community of regulars, and now they're starting to feature their own homebrews! What's not to like?! Goofy Foot Taproom is filling the void of options on this side of town for neighborhood places to drink and socialize that aren't attached to a large chain restaurant or regional chain of sports bars. Heck, they don't even have a TV in the restaurant, except as a showcase for what beers they currently have on tap. What they do have, is a comfortable space to come in, enjoy a beer or several, and converse with the people around you (or if you like, just a few quiet moments to yourself). The space itself has a nice variety of seating options. There are some outdoor tables for when the season allows. Step inside and you have a bar to the right flanked by several standard tables as well as some counter height tables. If you venture upstairs to the loft area, you get a more lounge like atmosphere with deeper seating and shelves full of board games to help pass the time. The taproom features daily events, ranging from trivia to live music. Last time I was in, I got to enjoy their brand of Winter Ale. It was so good, I had to have a second one, as I didn't feel the need to depart from what I knew to be tasty to take a chance on the unknown. It was crisp and refreshing, with fresh seasonal flavors, and a brilliant finish. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners Jeff and Tiffany have a great place going here. I had a great time at Goofy Foot Taproom & Brewery. This really is more of a Taproom than a brewery, since they only had one house-made beer to try (and it was an IPA, which isn't my jam). They did have a wide selection of beers on tap and I was excited to try as many as I could in their affordable flights. Sara, the bartender, showed me how to download the Untappd app. I was able to use Untappd to get detailed info on all their offerings, and it works at many other breweries too. Here is what I tried (from best to worst) and what I thought: - 8. Mango Cart- citrus, zingy, refreshing - 11. No. 83 Aged Baltic Porter- super easy to drink for a porter - 9. The Beam Graf In-World Ale- tasty beer apple juice - 7. Hedrick's Hefeweizen German-style Wheat- light and tasty -16. Snow Shower BlackBerry Sour- super acidic and tasted like kombucha - 6. Firestone Lager- difficult to drink -5. Ask No Questions, Hear No Lies- super dark and bitter Another plus for this place is that Duck Donuts is across the street from them in the parking lot, so you can have fresh donuts while you drink. I was there for a Yelp Elite event however , I love how this business is still remaining open and being safe. Lots of signage to remind folks to wear their masks. The tables were spaced out very well...browsing the drink menu and cooler - a great selection. We just moved into the area and are scouting out new paces to grab drinks and meet people. Goofy Foot has a, well, goofy name, but was a great stop. The taproom has a very beach-style feel with both an indoor and outdoor seating area and a decently sized bar. They have board games for the bored and I had a couple of great conversations with some regulars that were helpful in finding other local breweries. I forget the bartenders name that served me this evening (a woman from Ithaca, NY) but she was awesome. Great conversation about the beer scene and was very on top of the taprooms offerings. She made a pretty big impact herself. I had one of their house brews (the pale ale) and a couple of other local offerings. Super cute place. My wife is going to totally dig it. First off love the name because I myself am goofy footed when I snowboard, surf & skate! I enjoyed the vibe and decor especially!! I think they have a nice selection of drinks and clever names like Dude Cut My Hair IPA or Soul Surfer NEIPA. The seasonal drink menu also includes interesting items such as, Mahalo Mango & Wave Tank Winter Ale. I think this is a great location, close to other restaurants and not too far from High Point University. Give this place a try if you're in the area! Sarah was such a great bartender with a wonderful, friendly personality. She was very efficient and pleasant! They did a great job of making everyone feel safe and following covid 19 safety guidelines carefully. There is spaced out seating inside, but we opted to sit outside for most of the day because it was so nice outside. They had music playing, nice furniture outside. Goofy Foot introduced me to Haw River, and I even made the trip to Saxapahaw as a result.
