The Taste Smokers is a Barbecue restaurant in Southside Bethlehem. They are open from 4:00PM - 8:00PM on Friday and 1:00PM - 8:00PM on Saturday. The full menu can be seen on the wall behind the counter. You have the option to order a Smoker's Sampler or one of Q's Gourmaq & Cheese. They also have sandwiches and dinner platters available. This time around I ordered the Smoker's Sampler. You have the option to get two, three, or four meats. I decided on jerk chicken, beef brisket, ribs, and salmon. Let's start with the Food. We had it All Brisket, sausage, jerk chicken, ribs, and pulled pork. All excellent choices!! Each were tasty and tender. The sides were Mac n cheese, Pineapple mango slaw, and etole. All great matches with our protein. The owner was very accommodating. He answered all of our questions and made our experience as good as it possibly could be. The decor was outstanding with incredible artwork everywhere. Here's the catch! You just don't know when they are available for sit down service. They are small to large group oriented. Meaning catering is the priority. If they are contracted for an event, they may not be open for sit down service or take-out. So, Ownership recommends calling ahead to see what services are available. Where do I start. We got chicken drum, ribs and brisket. The brisket was probably the worst I ever experienced cold and chewy. Ribs the same. Not sure where all the good reviews come from. Amazing Food at this BBQ Joint and Art Deco Museum for local artists! With a mix of several tables, chairs, and a long wood bench you enjoy the food prepared by an award winning BBQ Pitmaster. Last Friday was the third time that I enjoyed the bbq meats served at Taste Smokers. This time , I ordered brisket, bbq Ribs and their Mac n' cheese. I was in bbq heaven. You need to make this restaurant a regular when ordering food for a sit down or take out. Their ribs, jerk chicken legs, brisket or sausages are first-rate, first-class, outstandingly delicious! Best BBQ in the Lehigh Valley. If you catch them on a day with burnt ends, get them! Since I left Kansas City 10 years ago, I've been looking for good burnt ends and they finally hit the spot. Brisket and pulled pork were amazing too. Good bark. Incredibly tender. Mango slaw was something different and surprisingly tasty. It reminded me of Carolina red slaw, and the mangos balanced the bitterness of the cabbage perfectly. Mac n cheese was rich and quite cheesy. It was worth the up charge, but would be over the top if it had some bacon. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The dining area was brightly decorated with items and artwork that had personality... a mixture of Lehigh Valley, Philly, Chicago, hip-hop, and BBQ. Food is presented simply in disposable paper baskets with plastic utensils and paper napkins... nothing fancy. But if it was fancy, it wouldn't be real BBQ. read more

My friend and I had a delicious meal by the Taste Smokers who had a pop up at Bonn Place. I ordered the Bonn special which included a meat, mac, and a side. I had the brisket with elote. Everyone waiting for the delicious food was friendly and loved The Taste Smokers. Their actual place is great but was vacant when we walked through it to find their pop up. I would love to see them utilize their interior. I need to go back and have more off their menu. read more

If you are within 20 miles of this place, go eat there. If you're travelling on Route 78 near Exit 67/Route 412, go into Bethlehem and eat there. You will not be disappointed. I had the Four Meats platter...twice. I had brisket/pulled pork/smoked link/ribs with beans (excellent!) and Street Corn (excellent). Prices were well in line, and portions were generous. I travel to the Harrisburg area often, and I will be stopping here to eat and/or get a meal to take home from now on. It's a major find, easily accessible and first-class tasty. read more

They were doing orders on a Friday. Had to place my order online and picked up. Let me tell you how difficult it is to find good bbq in the Lehigh Valley because they don't really season around here let's be honest. I got the 2 meat plates (brisket, ribs, and another of ribs and jerk chicken). Mac and cheese, and collard greens were our sides. It was FANTASTIC. Surprising the star of the show was the jerk chicken and ribs. So much food. Pricing was fair, but the quality was ridiculously good. It did NOT need sauce, that good. The collard greens was that dee green almost brownish color, which having family roots in the south and knowing a thing about soul food was a good sign. Although the business seems to be just starting up the food is absolutely amazing. The brisket, pork, chicken, Mac and cheese, and baked beans were fantastic. The beverages are limited so I suggest bringing a beer from a nearby brewery. read more
