The Tea Room Experience was fun for afternoon tea! I purchased my sister-in-law a gift card for her birthday and we used the gift card on a Saturday. The establishment is located in downtown Orlando so be prepared to most likely pay for parking in a garage or street. I found a parking meter just down the street. We arrived right on time for our reservation and were seated right away. It's a small space but very bright and cute inside. Our server came over with the menu and we selected the tea experience that includes tea and the accompaniments. Everything came out quickly. Both of us were happy with our tea selections. I had the Long Island strawberry green tea. The sandwiches and cookies were nicely displayed on the three tiered tray. They limit your time because they only have so many tea seatings in one day. We made a reservation months in advance and after finding street parking about a 2 minute walk away we were seated right away. The decor is very cute with a lot of tea cups and saucers on the wall. The little street area was cute for photos. The service was quick but we received the wrong tea more than we received what we ordered. We had a great time! The clean crisp environment was welcoming. We changed out teas as often as we liked. The food was fun. We put on our hats and had a real tea party for a 5 year old. Came here with my dad and sister for holiday tea time which was $35 a person for unlimited holiday tea with four different varieties to try. The options were chocolate mint, ginger bread, cranberry orange, and green apple. All of the teas were quite good, with cranberry orange being my actual favorite. The experience also came with a large selection of different tea sandwiches and different cakes and cookies and small treats to have with our different selection of tea. They also even let my sister have a pot of white jasmine tea even though it was not on the holiday menu. The white jasmine tea was at no extra cost. I am more of a coffee person than tea, but I went with an open mind and I ended up loving it so much that I returned for a second time. The Tea was so delicious. I had the Casablanca the first time and the second time I had a seasonal tea Raspberry Lemonade. Every person gets their own tea pot with whatever flavor tea they want to drink. You also have honey, sugar and milk/creamer options you can use with your tea. The food is never the same, which is great because you get to try new things. The experience comes with 3 tier food tray . The bottom has finger sandwich and scones, the middle has spreads and savory/sweet items and the top tier has dessert. The staff is very nice and attentive. At the end of your experience you can take pictures and purchase teas or merchandise they have available. They also have hats and fasteners you can use for your pictures. It's a great location for a friends outing, a mommy daughter day. The food and teas that we had we new to us and never tried before (and some of us were very picky) but we actually end up loving everything that we tasted and tried. Customer service was always very attentive and patient with our needs as it was a very busy day. The only con is the parking can be a bit long to walk to and bathrooms are not readily available inside you have to walk around to the next suite to go and use the restroom. I came here for an Alice In Wonderland themed tea party for my birthday celebration and it was everything I could have imagined and more. The team really went above and beyond with the decorations, from the cut outs, the greenery, and the napkins to the clock and the rabbits. I was so so happy with the turnout and attention paid to every single detail. I wasn't expecting the food to be much to rave about but the finger sandwiches were delectable and the egg pop tarts were just.... (sighs) chefs kiss. Timed meals, no cash, no dietary restrictions, servers unaware of menu (ie inaccurate info on allergies) oh and they do not accept cash! Tiny, 2 cup of tea limit and no additional flavors to taste, you could order green and get as much of that flavor as you wanted, but only that flavor. No tea tastings! Now to earn the stars, the place is adorable, the tea selection is good, black, green, fruit and herbal variations. Tea -food delight tower was served before the tea is steeped, a bit off on their timing. Sandwich selection with large 1/3 bread cut tea sandwiches. Larger than typical tea rooms.Chicken - cucumber and a mango cream cheese. Scone was good, need to ask for extra Devonshire cream! Middle and top selections were sweets, I left nothing behind! I have had tea time at Harrods in London as well as at the Fairmont in Banff, so i know what a REAL tea time experience should be like. I had been meaning to check this place out for a while to see how it compared, so a close friend of mine came and celebrated my birthday here with me recently and we had a wonderful experience. We were greeted by a staff member outside the tea room and had our temperatures checked and reminded to please wear a mask while inside. Once seated, we were able to remove our masks. We were seated and promptly greeted by our server who explained how our experience will go and what to expect. I ordered the white jasmine tea and my friend ordered the orange tea, to go with our small bite sandwiches and desserts. Everything was delicious and I was impressed with the presentation and quality of the food. There is a rack of hats and fancy headbands that you can borrow for your time there and to take fun pictures with. I'm giving this place four stars solely because there is no restroom in the tea room, you must exit the restaurant and enter a building next door (a law firm I think?) and use a code provided by your server to access the bathroom. This is inconvenient and I was disappointed to learn I had to leave the building to wash my hands etc. This drawback will not prevent me from returning to the tea room, though, because the rest of the experience was great. Wow! What a great experience! For me, the tea room experience just took me back about 25 years to make me feel like I was at the ultimate tea party. The aesthetic is darling from the moment you enter, though it be a smaller gathering space, there is a chandelier made of tea pots and all things made out of precious porcelain. Also, all of their Covid precautions made me feel very comfortable including temp check, table spacing, and mask wearing until seated. The weekend of valentines was by ticket which I purchased a month in advance, and compared to other tea places I've been to in central Florida this was by far my favorite (even compared to Grand Floridian). For the valentines weekend menu there were a selection of teas to select including green tea, herbal, and black teas. I stuck with the caffeinated icewine. It was divine. I was worried because I showed up with an appetite, but I left with a to go box. Between the sandwich selection and tiers of pastries it was more than enough. I wanted to celebrate my mother the entire Mother's Day week, therefore, I decided to start here for venture number 1. First tip - this reservation requires some advanced planning. I was able to get my reservation about a month out, as it fills up quickly. With that said, all pictures made this cute little shop look larger. It is small and profitable indeed! We were greeted promptly and assigned one of the only 2 middle of the room tables. There are two more large tables. One on each side of the room, hugging the walls - perfect for smaller (birthday/shower) groups. We counted 11 in each group, and just after, the table behind us was sat with 2 more. So in this small room - perhaps 25 x 25, there were 26 women. Honestly, I did not feel uncomfortable - just mentioning, as it is indoors and some may be more concerned about that. Mom & I are fully vaccinated. Tip 2 - only hot tea. No iced tea. However, we were treated to a nice cool orange juice in a champagne flute. Water is offered in what my mom called "kids cups", only when requested. Tea offerings - pretty good variety. Everything from green, oolong, black, and herbal +. We opted for the Icewine tea - pear with caramel notes, which sounded refreshing (outside was in the 90's, so we were parched!), and it didn't disappoint. On the table, there was regular sugar and honey. Cream was offered as well. No alternative sugars on the table. At this point, I didn't ask, as servers got busy with one of the big groups. The tier trays brought out with the treats was amazing! Loved everything on it. The sandwich varieties included an egg salad, a sweet chicken salad, and cucumber cream. There were quiches in at least 2 flavors and cranberry scones and other savories. Clotted cream and jam was served. It was satisfying enough for a meal. Then the sweets - oh my! Cupcakes, macarons, brownies and much more. We had left overs! All was delicious - especially the cupcakes, as they had a beautifully crafted rich cream with almond flavoring. Even when small, the cake itself was moist and finger licking good. Hats - you'll see in our pictures that hats are gorgeous and very fitting to the occasion. There are lots of them available, and are sanitized between customers! Tip 3 - no restrooms in the store. They are a short distance away in the building. You must step out, walk around, and go into a locked building lobby, and through a gallery. Then a locked restroom. You need a code from the tea room staff. Came here to celebrate my 50th birthday with three girlfriends. The ambiance is so cute. We were each able to get our own teapot, which was nice - it gave us the ability to try several different flavors. Tip: Don't feel like you have to finish your entire pot of tea. We didn't realize this until we only had about 30 minutes left, so we missed out, but I'll keep it in mind if I ever go back. Also, you're only allowed a certain amount of time to drink and eat because they need to clear your party out to make room for the next party to come in, so keep that in mind. I will say I was rather disappointed in the food. It wasn't that good and we weren't given any silverware, so I'm not sure how they expected us to eat some of the items like the pudding. I also had told them several times before we arrived that I had a nut allergy, but when we were seated I mentioned it again to the waitress and it seemed like this was the first she was hearing about it. For most places when I mention I have a nut allergy they try to separate out the items that have nuts, but they didn't do this - they just pointed out the items that had nuts and told me not to eat those. I thought that was a little strange, but I managed. Also, there is no bathroom in the Tea Room itself. If you have to go, they give you a code and you have to go to the lobby of the building nextdoor. You can purchase more, but for $25 per person, you get one tea. From the beginning, I felt limited. The tea comes in a pot only large enough for two cups. They never offered cream with the tea, I had to ask. When I asked, I was given a container with about a tablespoon of cream. Really? That's not enough for two cups, let alone my guest wanting some. The sandwiches were bland. The egg salad had no flavor. The cucumber sandwich had a bit more. The only one that had a bit of flavor was the chicken salad, and it taste like canned chicken. Where's the quality? The two tier pastry platter was a bit disappointing too. We had to ask for butter for our scones. We were never offered (clotted cream/butter is always offered at tea)! The pastries tasted store bought, with only fresh berries being added top them off. The only sweet that was good was the macaroons. Most of the others were too sweet. The scones were ok, but a bit dry (they desperately needed the butter)! I really wanted to enjoy this experience. The tea was nice, but the service,price and quality was lackluster. This place is between A-OK and Yay! I'm a fan. (thanks YELP for clarifying the star meanings). We have had tea all over Orlando and in an area where competition is stiff you must bring your A game. I can see why they have an age limit. This place is tightly packed and even some clumsy adults that can get hurt with only two aisles and hot water surrounding you. Anywho we had 24 hour reservations celebrating not only my husband and my anniversary but also my parents. Pretty stoked to have the place to ourselves with only one large party wrapping up the feeling completely went away when they sat us at a table in the middle of the teahouse. The server took quite some time to make their way out to us and when they finally did and we were ready to order she walked away because a guest from the larger party wanted to check out. Oh yes y'all about all 9 separate checks later we were at that tables complete purchase mercy. The experience would've been better had we been offered a booth in their empty area and if our server didn't just run away from us in the middle of trying to order. My co-workers and I made reservations for Friday, 12/15/2023. One of our friends had a medical emergency (and is still on life support), which required us to cancel our reservations. My other co-worker who made the reservations canceled within 48 hours, and was still charged a $192 cancellation fee. My friends and I had a great experience. We choose the 10:30 time on Friday. I do want to mention that one person in our party had a chocolate allergy and we were unable to switch the chocolate offerings for an alternative option. However we were aware of this prior to booking and advised the Tea Room to just put the chocolate dish on the side which they were able to accommodate. Suggestion if you have any severe allergies or dietary restrictions I would call prior to making your reservations. As you know it's non refundable after that. That aside, the service and the offerings were wonderful. The best afternoon tea experience in central Florida. We booked during the holidays so we were able to enjoy the Gingerbread, Chocolate Peppermint, Granny Apple and Cranberry Orange tea. I was very excited to bring my daughter here for her birthday along with her friend to celebrate her birthday. You have to have a reservation and it seems that tea starts at 1 pm as everyone arrived a few min before 1 and we waited outside to be seated. The price is $30 a person. The place is charming. Since my daughter was a vegetarian, they gave her a shell with coleslaw in it. What? That was really strange. We're not having fried chicken here. So nothing was delicious, just sub par and tiny. Also the tiny tea pots and tiny cups barely held any tea. My daughter didn't like like a lot of what she ate and when I asked for another cream cheese and cucumber sandwich for her, I was quickly told there would be an extra fee. The sandwich is the size of my pinky. I complain because tea parties are my jam. I have been to tea at Infusion Tea Room, Grand Floridian, Dianes Tea Room, Cuppa Thyme, Waldorf.. practically any where you can have tea around here and they are all splendid in their own way. I have tea parties at home. Not all are super fancy but when you host tea, the tea should be generously shared. And every you put in your mouth should be delightful. What a cool spot! I went here for a birthday celebration with a group of 5 girls. The Tea Experience is set up so cute, with only about 6 tables, so it feels pretty exclusive. The inside is super girly and fun, and they provide a ton of hats for cute pictures. Drinks - we were greeted with a complimentary mimosa (this was around Easter time). The teas are all delicious! The servers would come around every so often to refill our tea cups with a handful of different flavors. They also provide sugar, honey, and creamer for your teas. The blueberry was my favorite! Food - this was the best! Little finger foods and a bunch of desserts. The tea sandwiches were delicious. Pimento, cucumber, and a Thai chicken salad sandwich. A few other savory options as well. The desserts were so good! Chocolate covered strawberries, cupcakes, cookies, scones, and more. Everything was fresh, yummy, and any food left over, you get to take home. The entire experience lasts about 2 hours, which is more than enough time to eat, drink, and mingle/take pictures. I think this is a wonderful spot for a low key birthday celebration, girls days, mother's days, or just a fun girl date! read more

Cute atmosphere, but the room, china service, seats, etc. didn't feel clean. We had to send back a plate with tea sandwiches because there was a hair on the plate. They have hats they encourage you to wear, but who, for the most part, would do that? read more

We went to the Tea Room Experience for Easter Brunch but also for a Birthday celebration. We parked in the back of the building where the retail parking is. You pay for hour and there's limited spots in the parking garage. Once you arrive, you find your table and someone is there to take your tea order. We were also provided yummy mimosas as well! After our drink order was taken, the food just kept coming. From cute little sandwiches, to macaroons, cupcakes, scones, etc. there were so many options! We each had to go boxed to take home.
