We ended up getting the 3 Part Combo which included an aloe shot (delicious! Try the mango), a tea (I got Love Potion and my mom got Purple Rain), and a meal replacement shake (I got a peanut butter cloud which was a seasonal special). The whole vibe of the shop is sporty, healthy, inspirational. Anyway, I highly recommend. Tasty, healthy and delicious and affordable!

So happy this opened up in the downtown area! Walked in not knowing what to expect but was glad I…read moredid because I had an exceptional experience. The menu has so many options which I appreciate because most nutrition menus are limited to the same boring flavors. This menu though has a variety of options that honestly had me contemplating my order! The woman who placed & made my order was incredibly helpful and friendly also. I recommend their 3-part-combo. For $11 you get a shot of aloe, a tea, and protein shake. I was skeptical of the aloe as I've never tried this before but was pleasantly surprised - it was smooth and refreshing. The "Arnie Palmer" tea taste just like the real thing and the shake was very filling. Overall had a wonderful experience here and definitely plan to return. Their menu has endless combinations and I can't wait to try some more. This is your reminder to try that local business/restaurant because you never know what you're missing out on!

A quick Google search can reveal the depths of this scam...so can the movie Betting on Zero or the John Oliver newscast about MLMs. It's a scam. These "storefronts" are designed to get you in the door and get you to buy into Herbalife (with their "find out about nutrition" informational meetings and challenges). Getting people to sign up is how the money is made, not selling a product. The "nutrition club" storefronts, which is what Hometown Hub is, rarely last because it's an unsustainable business model. They will brand themselves as a "supportive community" for nutrition and healthy shakes. There have been no legitimate studies supporting the health efficacy of HL shakes. In 2008, Herbalife was sued after laboratory tests indicated that levels of lead in several Herbalife products were in excess of California state law and could lead to liver problems over an extended period of time. So yeah. LEAD. Much healthy. At the end of the day, Herbalife is a pyramid scheme designed to make those at the top rich and the rest financially beholden to the scam. Hometown Hub is not terribly clear about WHERE their shakes are from unless you ask them directly or you know what you're looking for when you're in their store. I'm sure the owners would give you a nice, typical Pyramid Scheme response in that "No, pyramid schemes are illegal. We are a multi-level marketing company....or we are a supportive nutrition club" It's all a facade. Most of these "businesses" fail because of the structure. So, the TLDR is this: Hometown Hub is a front for a pyramid scheme and probably shouldn't be supported.
