Celebrating the birthdays for these fantastic ladies!
    Amy V.

The place was busy as usual, but the service was still very good- friendly and timely. My chicken wild rice soup was tasty, but could have used more vegetables (I only had one carrot piece in my bowl). The grilled cheese was simple, but the quality ingredients made it taste so much better. It was a cute and cozy place to celebrate my Mom's and sister's birthdays. My Mom especially loved the fireplace and decor including unique lighting throughout.

Oregon's Living Room is so accurate!! This space is HUGE! And yet, every table is packed at noon on a Wednesday. I myself witnessed people running into each other and sharing embraces, so lovely to watch. This would be a great place to hangout on a weekend or come catch up with friends. I came to work and for which there are large sturdy tables for laptops and books and free wifi. Other than the atmosphere, food and drink options are plentiful and reasonably priced. I only got a winter special latte and a raspberry chocolate scone but I look forward to coming back to try sandwiches and other lattes! They have unique flavors like honey lavender and maple that I don't often find in small shops. My latte was also done swiftly! Great service!

Amazing breakfast sandwiches! I had the Firefly Farmer sandwich and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked bacon and Hook's cheddar cheese. I also loved their iced chai latte. Located right in downtown Oregon. They have great outdoor seating as well. They even have chalk out for kids to play with. Very family friendly spot. The staff was extremely friendly. The perfect small town coffee shop! Highly recommend!

Excellent service. It was very busy this morning and it was difficult to find a place to sit. We were able to eventually. You order food s drinks at the counter but the bring the order to your table. The coffee was good, hot pumps, self serve. The breakfast sandwich was excellent, well prepared and tasty. Even as busy as they were, the wait for the food was minimal. Overall a great experience.

Wonderful coffeehouse with great service, plenty of work spaces, and delicious food and coffee. This is a fantastic space to telework as they have plenty of tables and outlets. They also have a good menu with many coffee options, hot food, and baked goods options.

Firefly is my absolute favorite place to get coffee and grab a delicious and made-from scratch breakfast sandwich or pastry. They have so many options to choose from when it comes to their drinks - I especially love that their specialty coffees are not overly sweet but still full of flavor. Their food is always fresh, made with care, and reasonably priced. I usually grab Firefly to-go by using their easy online ordering app, but when I have extra time, I also like to sit inside their shop and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Having lived in the greater Madison area for almost two years, it's easy for me to see why Firefly has won so many "Best Coffeeshop" awards from Madison Magazine. If you're ever in the Oregon area, do not miss grabbing something delicious from Firefly!

Cute place warmly decorated and super clean. We ordered a orange mocha and a harvest latte and then grabbed some Wisconsin cheese to bring home. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of places to sit. It's affectionately called Oregon's living room. While waiting for drinks, we read an article proudly describing the owners efforts to pay the staff a living wage. They also provided paid time off and bonuses. Love it! It's about 20 minutes south of Madison. We stopped on our way back to Chicago.

Very charming coffee and cheese shop. A large and very comfortabls seating area. Pastries made fresh daily and you can taste the home made quality. My maple waffle latte was heaven

I'm definitely a coffee snob. I just had a quad espresso and it was....."EXCELLENT". Would a second quad be okay? I be I'll be VERY awake, but I'm willing. "Say barista, I'll have another please".

Amazing people and great coffee. What more could you want? Only drawback is they are closed on weekends and I live across the street.

If you're looking for something on the shelves the Hyvee brand is displayed front and center but many times the name brands are cheaper and of better quality. I like store brands but not at Hyvee. I've had to return many items that have expired even before I get it home. Chicken from the meat case had gone bad, green beans the next day were slimey, and green potatoes that can cause severe stomach distress and can be toxic. I don't know if the baggers go through any kind of training but it's always a mixed bag, pun indented getting your groceries packed . If you're not paying attention they will pack your meat in with produce and other foods that you have to wash even before you can put it away. This particular trip the girl didn't ask if she should put the meat in plastic. I didn't notice until I got home and had to wash the yogurt and the cantaloupe I purchased. I've noticed that all the baggers shake the bags to see if they can put any more items in the bag. It's a strange practice considering if you spend over a hundred dollars you're probably entitled to an extra bag or two. You have also have a better than 50-50 chance your bag will break even if you pick it up by the bottom. Last trip 2 out of the 4 bags broke which is typical. I've mentioned it to the owner but seems to not be a priority. You would think if it was your job to pack grocers you would do so so that the customer can avoid mishaps after they leave the store. If Hyvee is trying to compete with other stores it is hands down on the bottom list of places to shop even compared to Kwik Trip.

It's hard to find one around here anyway--in all the time I've lived in Chicago I have only found them a few times, and usually they have a stop of bacon on them (yuck), so finding one that was true to origins made me happy. And it was pretty good! It was pretty fluffy, and I've had ones that are much more dense and not as tasty. The cinnamon roll was just ok. I think that's mostly because I didn't like the icing; I think it was a pretty simple one made of powdered sugar, but I prefer a different type. The maple frosted fritter was disappointing. The woman working was nice enough. They did have lots of items to choose from and I couldn't decide so that's why I got a few things to haves a few bites of each. The price was outstanding, and that was nice too! They have lots of breads here, as well as hamburger and hot dog buns, and if I was heading to a picnic I'd get some to take along.

Maybe this is the best in town?? Just not worth it. Especially for the cost. And it is unfortunate as all the fritters looked "well done" ... and for the price? Oof! The bakery is a nice combination of a new store with plenty of old school feel. The donuts are displayed both in the glass cases up front and on the trays on the back wall. The selection is very good with plenty of donut styles and flavors. I ended up getting an apple cinnamon sour cream donut and a chocolate filled stick. Donut prices were a bit expensive, $4.65 for 2 donuts. The donuts were OK, but not great, a bit dry and not as flavorful as I would expect. The apple cinnamon flavor was a bit muted and the filling of the stick was chocolate pudding rather then chocolate creme. I would have liked to try one of the apple fritters, while they were huge $5 seemed excessive. If the other donuts were better I might have grabbed one the next day for the drive home. Maybe my expectations were too high but I just found Greenbush Bakery to be a bit of a disappointment. Certainly not bad, but I have had much better donuts.
