I moved to Dallas in August and had tried two other threading locations before coming across the perfect one here on Jefferson. I really admire how the ladies take their time on threading and waxing. I the wax they use doesn't leave my skin red or irritated since I do have sensitive skin. The owner I believed stated it was a Jade wax. I've been to the location about 5 times now, earlier this week I got my full legs and underarms waxed. That is the best wax job I've ever had. No red skin patches, the wax was the perfect temperature and the lady really took her time, there were no stray hairs compared to my previous experiences. They also know how to carry a conversation which doesn't make it awkward. I tip these ladies every time. I HIGHLEY recommend this location. I've been threading for 3 years now so my eyebrow hair takes awhile to grow back so I don't mind spending $8 on eyebrows. read more

It was my first time visiting this place. I booked an appointment for 1:05pm and arrived at 1:07. On their website the encourage you to wait in then car and they won't have more than 2 customers in the establishment at one time. And you have to have a mask on. There was only one employee and there was still someone in the chair so I came in. I sat for about 15 mins. but I was late so I didn't care about waiting. Another woman walked in after me with two children. She went straight to the counter and checked in, I assumed. Once I realized I had to check in, I went up to the counter to do so. The employee took woman with her children that checked in before me go first. Without even acknowledging me. So i continued to wait. While waiting, her children began to run around the studio yelling and screaming. Only one wearing a mask. The woman did nothing from the chair but tell them to stop. During this time another woman walked it. The children started to really fight and the boy kept kicking his sister. The woman in the chair said, "stop, boys aren't supposed to hit girls" but never left the chair. The little girls knee started bleeding. Me and the new woman started to tell the employee and the mother that the little girl was bleeding. The new woman that was it waiting got up to get her some Kleenex. The mother still in the chair with no worries in the world. The lack of professionalism was enough for me to say, you somewhere else for your eyebrows. read more

Unfortunately have to change my review after visiting again but this time had a different lady do my eyebrows. I told her I just wanted a clean-up & no change to the shape or thickness..She completely messed up my right eyebrow. I'm so paranoid about trying new ppl for this reason but went against my better judgment after my first experience here. Hopefully I can find the lady who did my brows the first time, otherwise never again. Lol read more

Reasonable prices, clean salon, and kind staff. I was impressed to see an iPad check-in system. You have the option to choose who you see and that person's estimated wait time. Since I hadn't been before, I went with first available and had a decent experience. Sadly, I felt like a scalped chicken leaving the salon. I usually stay up on brow maintenance but sadly I was given more than just a "clean up" as we agreed to. Now my eyebrows are fairly thin and a new shape. I forget her name, but it was a younger girl. I may give them another try in the future but will definitely request a new person. read more

I haven't gotten my eyebrows threaded in a while because I wanted to let them grow out into a natural shape and be thick. I made that very clear to the lady before doing my eyebrows that I want her to CLEAN and no thin or try to shape my eyebrows. Very upset with the results after months of trying to get them thick she just ruined them. Worst read more

$8 eyebrows and they always look great! I go here even though it's out of the way for me. I like that they have an electronic system too to sign in and then they can send you reminders or discounts via text. read more

I came here at the spur of the moment because it was not far from where I live. I am sooooo happy I did. Dina did my Brazilian and did an excellent job. She was very personable and very detailed with my waxing to make sure she had removed all the hair. I will definitely be coming back to get my eyebrows done and do a facial. Their prices are reasonable and the place is clean and appears to be new. read more

I'm so happy I found this place! I went in for my first eyebrow threading and I love the results. She was helpful, answering all of my questions about threading and finding out what I wanted. I happened to be in Dallas when I realized I needed to get threaded. My eyebrows were looking crazy! I found The Threading Place, and I went there at 6pm on a Thursday evening and the girl took care of me right away. She was awesome! I usually have really sensitive skin and she took care of it with lotion and care. Would go back again if I'm in town! read more
