Today I went in and received a terrible eyebrow service. One of my eyebrows was done so badly that it completely changed the way my face looks. I'm extremely upset because, on top of everything, they actually told me it was my fault for not booking with the person who usually does my eyebrows. Seriously? I've been coming here for years, and it's unacceptable that one employee, just because she wanted to rush through the service, didn't take the time or care to do the job properly. They should hire people who actually take their work seriously and care about their customers. Very disappointing experience and terrible customer service. read more

I've been a long term customer over the years but there is one certain tech that always without fail cuts my skin and makes me bleed and the excuse she always uses is " your skin is too sensitive " . For a while I thought that was the norm for getting brows threaded but I was wrong . The other techs do just fine. I had purposely avoided the days she works to book appointments but on my last visit she just so happens to be there on a day ( online booking system wasn't working ) and I'm already pressed for time and needed them done so I gave one last chance. Have been going here for years now and they used to be so good with threading eyebrows. I make it very clear I do not want any thickness off my brows and only want them cleaned up. The tech today did not listen at all and made my eyebrow tails super thin and also cut so much off. Not to mention changed the shape of my eyebrows. I am someone who is VERY hesitant about seeing new eyebrow threaders. I don't let just anyone touch my eyebrows, and to be quite frank, I'd rather them grow wild than to have to fill them in everyday because an inexperienced person made them look crazy. I will be getting microblading in the near future, and was told that before I do so, it may be a good idea to get my eyebrows tinted so that I can get a sense of what microblading will look like. Wow... I don't understand why I never got my eyebrows tinted before. When I walked in, the place is open, airy, with plenty of seating in the waiting area. I was the only person there since my appt was in the middle of the week during the early afternoon. My brow person was Saima, and she was amazing. Sanitized before starting, very quick. I was initially nervous because I usually have to tell anyone who does my eyebrows my preferred shape. I've been traumatized in the past and I typically go as far as showing pictures. I completely forgot to do so, but it didn't matter because she has a wonderful eye for knowing the eyebrow shape that complements and frames your face. I was in awe when she was done threading, but when she tinted them... it enhanced them SO MUCH MORE. The tint was initially really dark, but now that 2 days have passed, they're less intense and just look like really nice, full eyebrows. Chef's kiss. read more

Also the staff is super nice and knowledgeable and makes sure you're comfortable through the process. But after they changed the name and got different associates I have regretted going there every time. They clearly don't know how to thread because they'll make my eyebrows uneven and sometimes won't even clean my eyebrows up all the way. This was my first visit. I came on a recommendation from a friend of mine. I am so glad I did. I got a lash lift because my lashes go straight down with zero curl. Deepa was my technician and she was fabulous and so peaceful. There was a bit of a wait so next time I will definitely make an appointment. Everything was clean. If I could give zero stars I would. The last time I welt here a lady messed up my eyebrows, they were live-able as they just were kind of "crooked" (arch higher on one side than the other. Well today, shame on me for giving them another chance. A different tech this time and she straight BUTCHERED my eyebrow!! I go to another SOI location regularly so I was just going in for a "clean up" today. I wondered why this time felt so much more painful like she was pulling out a lot more hair. Now I know why. On the right side she made a really awkward arch and made them much thinner than they were/are usually. And then on the left side... I don't know what else to say but WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*** was she doing? I have no more eyebrows left on the left side of my eye!! I don't wear makeup so I have no way to fix this! This is my first time here. I am more than use to getting tortured to have my unruly eyebrows kept in check. I usually go to Ulta to have them waxed, plucked and cut. Since the lady I use to go to at Ulta is no longer there, I thought this would be the perfect time to try something new. The store opened at 10 am and there were four of us ready to be serviced as soon as they opened. I told The lady upfront that it was my first time here and she welcomed me and told me to sign in. Basically to sign in, there is a computer where you put your name and if you have a preference on who does your brows. You can also get put on their email mailing list for coupons and specials. Since I have never been here, I didn't have a preference on who did my brows. Basically, the next available person did my brows. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the person working on my brows. All I know is she was at station number 2. The process of getting your brows threaded is a walk in the park compared to getting them waxed and plucked. I felt no pain, no discomfort and was amazed at how quickly my brows were done. I walked in at 10am and was in my car at 10:11. I just wish I would've taken before and after pics, cause my brows look wonderful. The cost was 10.00 and please give these ladies a tip!!! If I could give no stars, I would. I went in with a FULL bushy set of eyebrows. I had been letting them grow out for a while, I already had a shape to them so she really just had to clean them up. When she finished threading, my eyebrows were round with no type of arch like I requested. They were UNEVEN. Even so, I proceed with a brow tint and asked if she could arch them with a tint, it was the absolute worst mistake to get them done here. The tint was too dark, uneven, patchy and looked horrible. It didn't look good at all!!! It was a nightmare. Luckily I was able to remove some of the tint with an oil. Please save your money. It was a cute salon but the results were the worst I've ever seen. read more

Used to come here when it was Soi Threading (or something like that) and liked my brows when they were done, however I'm am very unimpressed and disappointed with the new people that took it over. I fit mine threaded the 1st 2 times and did n ki t li ki e them so I tried the waxing this time. The lady took too much off the end on one side and put a plug at the beginning on the other side. READ THIS (DREW BLOOD) . Went for a simple waxing, tried to talk me into threading i tried. But it was to much her technique is rough. I politely declined after, proceeded to wax and do a terrible job without ANY cleanup. Said okay your done so I asked to clean it up refused to use tweezers said she'd only thread at this point I HAVE to pay and it can't be to much just clean up. Nope she starts and about the third time going over the same exact spot (technique trash) smooth ripped my eyelid open. I've only ever used hard wax and was nervous about soft wax due to hearing the pain was more intense.. EXAXT opposite!
