I used to be a regular here until I noticed on THREE separate occasions they overcharged me. When I call out the bartender he's always rude about it so that doesn't help. Definitely a fan!! It's a bar, where you consume adult beverages. I dont have more expectations than that. Bartenders are ALWAYS nice to me but I am a very friendly person. You get back, what you put out... Restrooms are nice and spacious for those that like to spend a lot of time in them. I'd probably give this bar 4 stars if it weren't for the loud music. I actually had a fine time there and enjoyed the beers, but I couldn't have a conversation with my friends. This place is great- it's kind of the same vibe I get whenever I went to Union Pool- hugely social, good music, slightly divey feel and fun. And that's all just the front room. I was SUPER psyched to see their back room, which is fairly new. If you're not feeling like the meat market up front, the back room is beautifully chill, has it's own bar, and makes you feel kind of like an insider (at least on the weeknights. The two times I've been in that back, the Irish bartender was great to talk to, and she had a fairly huge knowledge of punk. Every day is fairly well filled, so it's my favorite place in Bushwick to party. But it's so cool that you can go the back room if you're not feeling that, and I'm really looking forward to summer, and their outdoor area. read more

after having a really great time at Pearls with a large group we went to this place due to my friends girl wanting to check it out. nice crowd , looked like a very clean , new space. Not my style at all . Way too bright. the 3 stars are for the saving grace of this bar, the bartender!! They called her cat or some shit. She was great, our second round of drinks where on the bar . You dont see that around anymore. after another round of drinks , BOOM free shots of Jamerson for all 8 of us , and we didnt even tip her yet!! real chill. Great dive bar. No nonsense, but tastefully built. Feels like a cleaner, slightly nicer version of that bar in Cleveland, down by the old factory, that your dad used to day drink at in the mid 70's. I'm visiting Brooklyn for 5 days for my friend's wedding. I've spent almost every night of my trip at this bar. I mean not just me but basically everyone involved with the wedding has been to this bar multiple times within the last few nights. It's a great bar. It's lively but not overly crowded where you feel like you have to bail immediately because there's no where to stand/breathe. The back deck is amazing and makes you feel like you're hanging out in your buddy's backyard...but it's the coolest backyard because your buddy basically has unlimited booze to keep everyone happy. Oh and they have prosecco on tap. I mean really? My friend/the bride, Lauren, is convinced that the owner did that just for her. That's just the kind of place this is that I wouldn't be surprised if she was right. read more

The Three Diamond Door is a cross between a dive and the bar your mom and dad use to frequent--it has a retro, throwback feel but is still down to earth. Packed to the gills on a recent Friday night, the backyard was closed but my group got lucky and snagged one of those cool booths near the front. Bartenders were swamped but friendly. The menu is simple and cheap. The other patrons were on the younger side, and loads of dudes. Nice spot for a no frills drink! read more

This bar has a 50s diner vibe inside and a huge backyard patio area with lots of built in seating and they recently just opened a huge new room with a gorgeous bar and and a mega antique chandelier (and more bathrooms). I went to this bar on a week day, and it was perfect; its a really comfortable place with dimmed lighting, a nice clean bar and couches. During my week day visit the music was low enough to have conversation which made it a great date destination. On the other hand during my weekend visit they were playing metal really loud so I had to take my pantie dropping verbal assault elsewhere. I really like this bar, its chill.
