Sad they don't have small red velvet cakes, but was able to get a dozen cupcakes so I didn't have to waste cake for 2 people and it was amazing as always! The cake was moist and the cream cheese frosting was to die for! I'm sure I'm in a coma with how much icing I had, but it was worth it! Customer service was great! I used to visit Edgar's all the time when I was younger, and this location has always been great service and not too long of a wait. Edgar's has a very casual and inviting atmosphere that I always enjoy. It is a great option for brunch with friends or just eating alone. They have many great breakfast and lunch food options, as well as lots of desserts. I came in looking for a gluten-free sweet treat option, and I saw that they had macarons. I got a 4 pack of strawberry and chocolate macarons for $10. They were very good and hit the spot. The flavors weren't too overpowering but tasted fresh and tasty. I think the price is a little high for 4, but they were good quality and a decent size. I haven't been to this location in 3 years! Wow! I came here recently go grab a few treats for my mom's birthday. She loves the chocolate marble pound cake! The staff were friendly and ready to help during my visit. Very informative as well. I got myself a slice of strawberry king cake. I love king cake and this slice satisfied my sweet tooth! Edgar's desserts are amazingggg and a must try. They are known for the strawberry cake and that has been my favorite of what I have tried so far. They also make coffees and teas. Big white building; First time being there, the food smelled amazing. It looked amazing as well. The bathrooms were clean and smelling good. Everybody was nice. The servers brought our food to our table and our drinks. Edgar's is one my favorite places to visit in Trussville. This location is convenient and has a nice ambiance. The chicken salad wrap is my favorite thing! Well the strawberry cake of course too! They do a great job with fresh food and good services as well. It is a great remote working spot with the patio area which I utilized today before grabbing my lunch. I had a small issue with my pasta salad order not arriving and they were very accommodating and offer me a slice of cake for the issue. That's good service! The coffee is excellent and the staff are friendly and very helpful. There is plenty to choose from the dining room area to purchase and take home with you. Stopped in for some breakfast after spotting this beautiful building. The ladies in the front were very helpful, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We ordered three meals and drinks. The best meal was the All American Breakfast. The bacon was really crisy, and biscuits were delicious. We did receive potatoes instead of the cheese grits as we ordered. As for the French Toast, it was dense, doughy, and cold when received. Unfortunately, the Spicy Eggacado sandwiches had NO sriracha or avocado on them. I really like the Orange Rolls for breakfast The Trio Salad Plate (Traditional Chicken Salad, Sonoma Chicken Salad & Pimento Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes & Raspberry Vinaigrette) is easily shareable or good for multiple lunches. The building is pretty and so grand I felt like I walked into a Disney bakery. Promise to never quarrel here this is a happy place. The cakes, muffins and cookies in the case looked amazing!! We got an assortment of things: I had a Monte Cristo - it was great! I still miss Bennigans deep battered/fried days. But this settled my craving. The chocolate cupcake - Moist and decadent. Well, just have to report another fantastic visit to Edgars today. This time we met Lillian and Michael they were so helpful with our lunch suggestions had to order the chicken quesadilla as usual with a side of mac & cheese, let me stress to you. This is not your normal mac & cheese. It was so good I wanted to go out to Forest Hill cemetery and dig my grandma up and slap her. Gina, however, had the turkey sandwich and loved every bite past salad was awesome. We we're on the patio with our 4 legged son who also enjoyed his time out. When we finished, it was time for a small dessert as we are senior citizens, and the fat grams are starting to add up rapidly we were able to get two chocolate ganache Petit fours and a small chocolate rugelach roll this was just enough to satisfy that desert craving and they were wonderful. Hats off to the staff for their friendly attitude and the appearance and overall aesthetics of the restaurant, we as vimpresssive as always. read more

Everyone who knows me knows that I love sweets. When I moved to Alabama from Chicago Edgar's is one of the first places that I discovered. The only problem was that it was to long of a drive from my house. Then they opened one extremely close to my house. Since they opened this location I've been a few times. I'm obsessed with the strawberry cake, lemon cake, caramel cake, and the strawberry pound cake. I love the service at this Edgar's the people are extremely nice and accommodating. Also the inside is nice and spacious and has ample amount of room for you to enjoy your snacks that you purchase. read more
