Great wedding venue! I've been to so many venues in NJ, but when I visited this one, I knew it was the perfect choice! I love the high ceilings and the layout, which allows you to choose between an outdoor or indoor ceremony, followed by cocktail hour and reception--all in one connected space. I highly recommend everyone check it out! The staff is incredibly welcoming and takes the time to explain everything you need to know. Definitely worth a visit!

Peña Ala Vodka was cold, and they just couldn't keep the paella tray filled so only got rice.

The facility is very nice, upscale, and charming for any event. I went there for the first time for a fund raising event which was a brunch. I was not impressed beyond the looks for the place. Within only a half hour after the party started with the cocktail hour, the serving trays were out of food and it took very long for them to replenish it. This happened continuously through the afternoon during the main course. Everything was buffet style. It was as if nobody was monitoring the trays. Now to the food itself; fried calamari was mushy, the chicken franchise was tasteless and even when the Pene Ala vodka was finally replenished, it was COLD. Perhaps, because is was a fundraiser event in lieu of a wedding, maybe the same emphasis is not put on this kind of venue.

Beautiful venue with picture perfect surroundings. This is a beautiful place to have a wedding. The staff address hard working and helpful without being intrusive. They all work together to make the guests feel good. I dropped a fork and a staff member picked it up smiled and gave me a new one: just helpful. Cocktail hour was great. A huge variety of food that was delicious. My favorite were the lamb chops but the shrimp and stuffed mushrooms were among my favorites as well. Entrees were okay, typical wedding food that doesn't meet the mark. Their desserts were delicious though. I especially enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberry. The main hall for the wedding was spacious snd clean but the sound system needs to be improved. The room cash only handle a certain amount of volume. This is a beautiful place. Mera's Tip: have a wedding here

I was here two weeks ago for a wedding, and I really enjoyed it! Interior: 5/5 Very classy. There's a stunning chandelier in the main lobby. High ceilings, intimate lighting, and an elegant staircase make the grand ballroom look exquisite. I wasn't even the one getting married that night, but I felt like royalty for just being in a gorgeous venue like this one! Staff: 5/5 The valet was welcoming, the wait staff was attentive, and the bartender made my drinks perfectly. Food: 3/5 - Pre-cocktail hour: Coffee, tea, and mimosas were offered in the lobby before cocktail hour started. The mimosa was yummy! - Cocktail hour: The spread was so big that it took up two big rooms. Antipasto, fruits, veggies, seafood, chicken, a carving station featuring rack of lamb and prime rib - they had it all. Wait staff was also passing out hors d'oeuvres, but I didn't get to taste any because everyone kept taking them all before the waiter got to my table lol. - Dinner: We all started with a salad that was adorably plated with thin slices of cucumber wrapped around it then we were given a lemon sorbet as intermezzo. I ordered the chicken wellington for dinner. - Dessert: The Viennese table(s) at the end of the night had such a variety of sweets to choose from - cake, pastries, cookies, ice cream, crepes, fondue, chocolate mousse, and more. The food tasted okay. Some cocktail hour meats were either undercooked or overcooked, the scallops had no flavor to them although they were cooked well, my chicken wellington was kind of soggy, and the desserts were average. Considering how beautiful the venue itself is, I expected much higher quality or better tasting food. Garden: 5/5 A big, beautiful place for a garden wedding or a photo op! My boyfriend, friends, and I took plenty of pictures here during cocktail hour. Overall, their food could use improvement, but I enjoyed my night here and I'd love to come back for another event!

Stuck between 3 stars and 4 stars. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious. The outside was what really caught my attention. The landscaping is beautiful with gazebos and fountains throughout the land. In fact, you can have your wedding right at the Estate if you wish. When you arrived to the venue you were greeted with either champagne, mimosa, or Bellini. I loved this touch. There was also a bar if you preferred another beverage. Cocktail hour was nice. I did think that the oysters weren't shucked properly. I had to use my fork to tug off the rest of the meat. I am a very big seafood fan and they had a lot of variety here. They had a pizza section which was cute. I thought the presentation of the salad during dinner was superb. We had lemon sorbet to clean off our pallets, very good, and then served dinner. I ordered the Chateaubriand steak which came with mashed potatoes and string beans. It was nicely cooked. It wasn't hard to eat nor chewy. I did not have any dessert as I was too full. What changed my mind to give this place the fourth star was the coffee and more desserts given before you left. I really needed that pick me up after a couple of glasses of wine.

PAID ALMOST $10K FOR GUESTS TO LEAVE HUNGRY. EMBARRASSED IN FRONT OF ALL MY LOVED ONES…read more Our engagement party is now overshadowed by humiliation. Several of our guests mentioned there was not enough food at our party. Furthermore, the food that was available was subpar at best. One guest flew in from Florida to celebrate with us, and said several dishes ran out and weren't replenished. Another guest told us she only had rice & beans to eat because all the other dishes ran out. A guest who managed to get some meat said it was so fatty she couldn't even eat it - it was causing her to choke! Another guest panicked, trying to figure out how to discreetly spit out an inedible piece of gristle. I cannot put into words how mortified I am. I have never hosted a party where guests left hungry and I am absolutely humiliated. The catering charge is calculated per person, so there should have been plenty of food for everyone - especially since we had several no-shows. We paid for MORE people than actually attended and they STILL ran out of food. We paid an extra upcharge for salmon, and the piece I received was about the size of a silver dollar. Many of the dishes were rice-based, making this even more inexcusable - how GREEDY and CHEAP do you have to be to run out of rice at a 100-person party?! Part of the reason we chose this venue was their "authentic" Peruvian menu, but it was embarrassing serving this to our Peruvian relatives! The ceviche was bland and disappointing, like the rest of the food (what there was of it, anyway). These owners pocketed nearly $10,000 and had no shame shortchanging 100 guests. I will be sending out apology notes with our thank you cards for this debacle - something I never imagined having to do for my own engagement party. Several guests have actually expressed pity for us because it's glaringly obvious we were ripped off and taken advantage of. Thank god we aren't having our wedding here! Do not make the mistake of trusting this venue with your celebration unless you want to spend it apologizing to your loved ones instead of celebrating with them.

We always have a great experience-we love the cozy, quaint atmosphere of the tea room. We visited today for the Mother's Day Queen's Tea. I called to make a reservation 2 months in advance since they book up so quickly. In general, reservations are recommended as seating is limited, especially on weekends. When you arrive, you are presented with a prix-fix menu. On non-holidays, you usually have a choice between the soup or the salad of the day. You select your pot of tea from over 60 premium tea flavors. Today, I chose the "Paris" special tea, which had notes of vanilla, caramel, and bergamot. For the Mother's Day Queen's Tea, we had the broccoli and cheddar quiche, a pear, goat cheese, candied walnut, mixed green salad, scones, assorted mini sandwiches, and several mini desserts. Every course was fresh and excellent. The caramel scones are one of the best things I have ever eaten. They are served warm with clotted cream and lemon curd. The caramel is so goey and melts in your mouth. We brought some orange juice and prosecco to have mimosas with our tea. They have glassware in the back that you can request when making your reservation. The service is always top-notch. Holly is the best server! She is super sweet and always hardworking. At the entrance, there is a little gift shop with lots of cute vintage items, tea-themed trinkets, and some of the loose lea tea available in small bags. We love coming here and hope to be back again soon. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. They were tremendous and very accommodating all night. The cocktail hour had a number of different options ranging from a seafood table to Charcuterie plates to a gyro station. There was also a number of pastas and a section for Asian cuisine with stir fry being served. There were numerous staff members walking around with handheld dishes too. My favorite option here was probably the harissa at the gyro station. I had that on a falafel gyro, and it was very flavorful. The sushi rolls were decent at best while the grilled chorizo was tasty. Those were just a few of the many dishes I had. For dinner, there was a choice of three main courses along with a salad. The salad consisted of mixed greens, frisee, endive, almond silvers, dried cranberries, and goat cheese with a white balsamic vinaigrette. This was a well put together salad. The white balsamic vinaigrette was key as it brought all the flavors together. Regarding the main course, I was able to share two, the filet mignon and Chilean seabass. The filet had a bordelaise sauce with carrots, asparagus, and a red bliss potato cake. The seabass was pan seared with an heirloom tomato fondue, asparagus, carrots, and a rice pilaf. These were decent at best. The filet had an inconsistent temperature throughout as it was cooked to a medium on the inside while the outside was more well done. The vegetables were a tad hard while the potato cake was nicely fried. It was expected at a large event. The seabass was cooked nicely, but just well under seasoned. The fondue was okay while the rice was a tad hard too. For dessert, cake with ice cream was served. I doubt the cake was made on the premise, but it was not too bad. It was all vanilla I believe including the ice cream. Will I go back? Probably.

This afternoon my wife purchased two portions of your "Harvest Chicken" from the hot foods counter. When she brought it home, we sat down expecting dinner. Instead, we were treated to what can only be described as a culinary experiment in dehydration. I didn't realize chicken could actually reach the texture of corrugated cardboard, but your staff has apparently mastered that technique. Large sections were so hard that even a fork had trouble getting through them, which is an impressive achievement if the goal was to create building materials rather than food. It's honestly a shame, because an animal had to give its life for that meal, only for it to be cooked into something no human should reasonably be expected to eat. I have seen more care put into kindergarten cooking projects. In the end, most of it went straight into the garbage, which seemed to be the most appropriate place for it. For comparison, a stop at Burger King would have been a noticeable upgrade in quality. You may want to take a look at what's happening behind that counter, because if this is the standard being served to customers, something has gone very wrong.
