    Private dinner event menu

Always like the Brick House. It is a bit on the pricey side, but have always enjoyed the food and find the staff courteous. Their pastas are always a hit, as are their fish dishes and salads. I have found their steaks to be hit or miss. For apps we love their eggplant rollatini, calamari and stuffed mushrooms. The smoked fish is also delicious. Extensive drink menu and love the addition of the cigar bar. They also have various rooms which you can rent out for private parties.

Been coming since since it was Brick House. This is a place where the total experience from staff and vibes with the food is always great. They know how to hire well here - most of the staff been here for years and every one of them warm, friendly and professional. Here I enjoy mostly the steaks / especially porterhouse for two. Had family and friends events here too. A happy place to go to.

Came here for a birthday and it was great. From the food to the drinks and the service, everything was amazing. The seafood sampler was a favorite and very fresh. We also got fried calamari, cheesy bread, eggplant Parm, penne vodka, salad, and antipasto spread for apps. For the mains we had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly and so good (I don't even usually like that cut) and the salmon. It was a bit overcooked on the inside for me but the ends and the sauce were delicious. The drinks were perfectly balanced. The staff was so helpful and very nice.

I visited Brick House for dinner at 5pm on a Wednesday. The parking lot was packed and it was surprisingly very difficult to find a parking spot. At some point they did open the valet lot up which helped. The restaurant was cozy inside with a fireplace near our table. Our waiter was awesome. Very knowledgeable regarding the menu items. We ordered an assortment of items from the appetizer menu. The stuffed mushrooms were quite literally the bomb dot com. I could eat those every day. For my entree I ordered the french onion soup and the cod which came with a salad and baked potato. The french onion soup was good. The cod was just okay. The menu was overall very expensive. If it wasn't for business I most likely wouldn't be going here for a night out on my own. I did enjoy my visit and my mouth is watering again just thinking about those stuffed mushrooms.

    Disgusting excuse for a chimichurri

I expected a nice steakhouse dinner. What I got was not good. Our waiter came and it looked as if we were bothering him by being there. He even kind of through up his hands because only 2 of my party of 4 had their drink order ready he just walked off. Extremely rude. He came back and seemed like he was extremely rushed forgot that 2 of us ordered already. Maybe the food will be better and worth his rudeness. We order the bacon and smoked fish as an app. Delicious which is the only reason it got 2 stars. Our salads seem to have been forgotten since it took an hour to get them and only when I mentioned it did they come out 10 minutes later. An overdressed soggy mess. We all ordered steak all not cooked to the medium rare we all wanted. Ranging from medium to well. There was no sear on my steak a ribeye. And almost burnt on everyone else's filet. I ordered chimichurri to go with my steak it was absolutely disgusting see pictures for reference. It was literally olive oil with some yellow green stuff at the bottom. It was an horrible excuse for a sauce. When the tray of our food came out that same waiter served half the tray walked off sang happy birthday to another table and I stopped him as he was walking by us after and pointed to the half filled tray of our food and seemed totally irritated with me and said yes your food I'm not done. I have never seen someone serve half the food walk off and then almost forget he didn't finish. On top of the bad food and horrendous service you can hear the other waitstaff yelping at each other. This was an absolute train wreck of a place.

(Reservations are not that easy to make last minute.) The restaurant is big and open but always busy. Kids get wax craft sticks to play with and bend into cool shapes, which I find very unique and cool. I feel like there is a difference between a diner and a true brunch place. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka. Willow & Whisk is that kind of brunch place, and which is rare in New Jersey. The food options are varied, very tasty, and with good portion sizes. I love the shakshuka and the mushroom thyme omelette. Oh gosh, when is our next reservation again?

The highlight was definitely the Stuffed French Toast. It looked beautiful, and I expected it to be overly sweet, but it was surprisingly well balanced. The toast was soft with a slightly crispy exterior, and the cream cheese filling paired really well with the strawberry compote. We also ordered the BLT+. The smoked bacon was delicious, but the focaccia was a little too thin and hard, making it harder to eat than I expected. The house-made sausage was good, just not particularly memorable. As for the coffee, it was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. The latte wasn't very smooth, and the cold brew had a slight off taste. They were both drinkable, just not something I'd order again. Overall, I'd recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere, especially if you're interested in the French toast. There's also parking behind the restaurant, which makes visiting easy.

We truly wouldn't have changed a thing. Our guests raved about the food and drinks just as much as we did! Since the ceremony and reception were held in the same room, the space had to be flipped during cocktail hour. We were a little worried our guests would notice or that it might be disruptive, but not a single person mentioned it. The transition was completely seamless, which is a huge testament to Vikki and her amazing staff. We worked with Vikki throughout the planning process, and she was incredible. She was responsive, organized, and present every step of the way. She coordinated with all of our vendors, kept everything running smoothly, and was there in person on the wedding day, which made such a difference. I had mentioned a few small personal touches I wanted set up, and without hesitation, she took care of every one of them herself. When we returned to pick up our belongings, everything had been packed neatly and carefully, which was such a thoughtful touch. We toured several other restaurant venues while planning our wedding, and at one venue we were told the coordinator would help us plan but wouldn't actually be there on the wedding day. That didn't sit right with us. Having Vikki there throughout our entire celebration gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. Vikki and the entire Park West Loft team exceeded every expectation we had. From the planning process to the last moments of our wedding night, they made us feel genuinely cared for. For a couple who loves NYC and wanted to bring the vibe to NJ (where my husband grew up), the ambiance of PWL was everything we wanted. The exposed brick is beautiful and the space is so beautiful. I had the best customer service experience of my life working with the venue coordinator, Chris Ryter. We could not have had the day we did without him. Chris took care of EVERYTHING for us from the actual day we met - things I would never have thought of. He made the entire process so seamless. Leading up to the wedding, I gave him a 5 page "master doc" with what we had envisioned in terms of decor/set up and the execution was flawless. The entire staff was checking on us the entire night if we needed anything - from a tide to go stick to a glass of champagne. The food was delicious and everyone had a blast at the bar. They were tremendous and very accommodating all night. The cocktail hour had a number of different options ranging from a seafood table to Charcuterie plates to a gyro station. There was also a number of pastas and a section for Asian cuisine with stir fry being served. There were numerous staff members walking around with handheld dishes too. My favorite option here was probably the harissa at the gyro station. I had that on a falafel gyro, and it was very flavorful. The sushi rolls were decent at best while the grilled chorizo was tasty. Those were just a few of the many dishes I had. For dinner, there was a choice of three main courses along with a salad. The salad consisted of mixed greens, frisee, endive, almond silvers, dried cranberries, and goat cheese with a white balsamic vinaigrette. This was a well put together salad. The white balsamic vinaigrette was key as it brought all the flavors together. Regarding the main course, I was able to share two, the filet mignon and Chilean seabass. The filet had a bordelaise sauce with carrots, asparagus, and a red bliss potato cake. The seabass was pan seared with an heirloom tomato fondue, asparagus, carrots, and a rice pilaf. These were decent at best. The filet had an inconsistent temperature throughout as it was cooked to a medium on the inside while the outside was more well done. The vegetables were a tad hard while the potato cake was nicely fried. It was expected at a large event. The seabass was cooked nicely, but just well under seasoned. The fondue was okay while the rice was a tad hard too. For dessert, cake with ice cream was served. I doubt the cake was made on the premise, but it was not too bad. It was all vanilla I believe including the ice cream. Will I go back? Probably.

The market charges a 2 percent credit card fee, but the wine tasting room doesn't charge a fee. If you reserve at least 48 hours in advance, you can purchase charcuterie boxes. The only suggestion I have for improvement is to provide some water during the tasting experience. This is typical at wineries as tasters want to cleanse their palates and glasses.
