I've been to more than my fair share of weddings over the years (not to be cruel but some of the worst receptions ended in divorce... someone needs to write their doctorate on that). Seasons is easily one of the best places I've been to, hands down. The outside/grounds - beautiful. Inside - equally impressive. Cocktail hour - ridiculously over-the-top. The entrees later in the night - (here is where most places - even top-dollar banquet halls stumble, right?) - incredible. How they could knock out hundreds of plates that all looked good and at my specific table we ordered all the options and everyone was happy (and stuffed). Desserts - (another time a lot of places falter) - a delicious 'sampler platter' of Italian greatest hits (tiramisu, cannoli, etc.), and each one was a hit. Valet parking - funny enough when we first pulled in the guy just pointed at a spot for me to park in and later it was a blessing in disguise since I could just leave on my own, so I can't really comment here. Wow!! I attended a wedding at this venue, and could not believe how amazing it was. The place is beautiful, this huge chandeliers, and classy decor. Most importantly the lighting was really good for both cocktail hour when the lights were on and dancing when the lights were turned down. Despite how truly amazing this place looked, the real highlight was the food. It must be a thing in this area, as the only other wedding I have attended in NJ was similar, but I don't think I will ever be able to attend a wedding that tops the food and the service at this venue. Before dinner was even served, the most delicious and all encompassing selection of food was laid out. I'm not even sure the word appetizer applies as everything you could possibly imagine was there, from stuffed clams, to sushi, to lamb, to lobster ravioli, to sliders, to literally everything in between. On top of that, wait staff brought around platters of multiple kinds of shrimp and other goodies. After maybe an hour or so of enjoying cocktails, food and company, the doors were opened to the main room, and after introductions a four course meal was served. Luckily I was offered a doggie bag for my meal as I was so full from the apps I could hardly make a dent. Besides the food, the service was impeccable. The staff was intentive, polite and present. We had our wedding reception at Seasons catering at the end of May and our friends and family are STILL raving about it! (It's July.) The cocktail hour was an extravagant array of more food than you can imagine (including an ice sculpture made to look like tennis rackets. We're tennis players.) People told me the waitstaff was impeccable and the meal was great (I have to rely on what people tell me because I was too busy socializing and dancing to actually eat). A guest at our party is a restaurateur and he said he looks for the things most guests don't notice and he said they were perfect. The bridal attendant was AMAZING. She was never in the way but somehow always standing nearby with a glass of wine at the ready. She may have been clairvoyant. Somehow she was just ready with whatever we needed - I don't know how she did it but I want to get married again just for that experience. Attending the annual Christmas Party was ok to mediocre to say. Our event was totally different than in 2019 where we had a buffet style dinner. This time around, the buffet style was more like a sit down dinner with lines. The food was so-so, nothing to brag about in my opinion. But what actually deserves a MINUS 1 was the RUDE BARTENDERS & Valet Service. The bartender that was serving us had no time to listen to the order and it had to be repeated several times resulting in it being wrong at least twice. This in itself is frustrating when we were there to enjoy the festivities. The Parking Valet Service was like being at a NASCAR event. I went to my vehicle to wait for the rest of my party and in the short time of observing their antics, I was happy that I did not allow them to park my ride. I witnessed vehicles being backed into empty spaces not slowly with caution but rather with speed that as a Professional Driver, I would never execute. I witnessed speeding through the parking area, near misses, and overall disrespect for the cars that they were driving. I was told at the beginning of the event that if I was not going to use the Valet Service, I would have to park down the street in their overflow lot. REALLY? I parked in the lot with no consequences, but was burning of the disrespect of the lead attendant. Overall, I will not be coming back for any functions if held here and I definitely would warn anyone using the Valet Service to take heed on doing so unless you have no concern for the way your vehicle is treated. read more

My company deals with Seasons a lot and as the point person in dealing with Seasons, I have to say, they are very professional. Seasons comes equipped with ample amount of space for small and large parties. They are also willing to work with almost any given price point. They do however have a limit of how low they will go. The venue has rooms are top and bottom floors with an easy access elevator for the handicap. The place offers valet parking for events that need it. The venue is a nice size, but they do have other venues under the same company that can hold larger parties or more grand parties. The food at Seasons is outstanding. I actually look forward to having our parties at Seasons because I know their food is top notch. They have a great prime rib that everyone always raves about. read more

I came here recently for a friend's wedding. The place is located on a corner, pulling in to valet parking. The grounds are nicely kept, though we didn't spend much time out there due to the rain. There seemed to be a waterfall fountain in the back. I'm sure it would have been quite lovely for pictures. It was an early wedding, and we were greeted with breakfast muffins and coffee when we walked in. Very nice touch. High ceilings and elegantly set up rooms. The ceremony was off to a room to the right which later opened up to the reception. It had been divided by these separators that came right out of the wall, and I think folded back in. The whole space was beautifully decorated. Very simple and pretty, minor touches that really made the room pop. Even the bathrooms and hallways appeared meticulously decorated. After the ceremony there were signature cocktails and a 2 room spread of cocktail hour treats. Now while normally everyone ends up loving the cocktail hour more than the main meals, this is one of those few times that was NOT the case. I tried pretty much everything, and everything was pretty much....ok. When we entered the main room for the reception, there was a salad spread and bread already on the table. As the night went on we had sorbet, Beef Chateaubriand, pasta, wedding cake, and individual plates of dessert spread. All courses....exceptional. That beef...oh my. And a great amount! I recently came to this place for one of my best friends wedding. And I must start off by saying everything about this place I loved. They offered valet parking, which is always nice. The food for the cocktail hour was amazing. There were so many options to chose from. I loved the lamb chops. They were my favorite. The Italian section of food was also great. They kept coming around to each table, offering all different types of shrimp and dip. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The open bar section had plenty of beer choices and were making all types of mixed drinks. Best cocktail hour I have ever been too. For the main area, the tables were setup nice and plenty of room in between each other. The dance floor was spacious. Loved the table service of drinks all night. For our main dishes, my girlfriend got the Chateaubriand (filet mignon) and I got the Chilean Sea Bass. We tried each others and both were excellent. I loved the sea bass. Been here a few times in the past, but it has been a very long time. Was here for a wedding this past weekend and I was totally blown away. Absolutely gorgeous inside, the staff is beyond friendly and professional from the time we arrived to the time we stumbled out. The ceremony was small and beautiful, short and sweet, and we were immediately directed to the cocktail hour behind us afterwards. The stations were impressive, everything from caviar to sushi to a whole pig just chillin' under a few lamps. The space was a bit tight for how many people were there, but we fit cozily and sipped our (heavy poured) drinks. When it was time for the party to start, the doors opened up and the space the ceremony was in was transformed into a beautiful dining room. Was very easy to find our tables and we had our first course already waiting for us. This is the only course that was pictured because heeeyyy, open bar, but each one that followed was delicious. I had the Chateaubriand and it was cooked perfectly - something seemingly impossible to do at an event like this. Totally impressed. We interacted with Ria, Peter (? the Maitre'd - I can't remember his name now!), and Thea, the bridal attendant, who was wonderful. Seasons was SO organized, they knew exactly what to do. I had helpers to decorate the venue (groomsmen) but Seasons helped anyway, which they didn't have to. I didn't need a wedding day-of coordinator after all because they were so helpful. The food was phenomenal and there was so much of it - about 22 stations at cocktail hour alone! I wanted gold decor and the space in the Grand Ballroom was so elegant. This is a partner to the famous Venetian! But according to the staff, this is the "original" site. FIrst off, you enter and of course places like these are automatically valet parking. I don't like people touching my precious car, but you can tell these guys are professional. They are all in uniforms and opened the door for me and my girl. I observed them drive away with my car, and from the sound and look of it, it was driven well. Second, the upstairs cocktail hour was high-end classy stuff. Everyone that worked there looked like they were secret-service with ear pieces making sure that everyone was taken care of and that the food was always full at all times. Food from our table was taken away the moment we finished our plate, making sure that the space in our table was at maximum capacity. The room was elegant and very spacious. It was two reception area put together. There were at least 5 to 7 stations full of Italian food such as eggplant rollatini, italian sausage, chicken, etc. ! There was also a seafood section, prime-rib section, hamburger slider section, stuffed mushrooms, martini shots section, saki shots section, basically everything you can ever think of this place had it! Third, after the cocktail hour, the guests were walked down and escorted downstairs. The staff members would ask for your table number and they would literally walk you, or tell you exactly where your seat was. The ballroom was even bigger than the cocktail hour. There was even an outside section where you can take pictures of the waterfall type setting. Fourth, the food was EXCELLENT! When I say 5 stars I am not pulling your leg, as you can see I am very strict with giving 5 stars. I have a 10% 5 star rating because I only give 5 stars where its DUE! This place did it for me. I never had to get up to the bar for drinks. The staff would constantly ask me what I want the moment I finished my drink. My entree was Chateubriand which is a thick cut from a tenderloin, It can be among the most flavorful and tender cuts if done right and baby they did it right alright! This is better than a filet mignon cut for me! You can also choose the way you wanted your steak cooked with no problem! My girl had mahi-mahi which was one of the flavorful best fish she had. She knows her fishes because shes a fish critic and has had mahi-mahi in Hawaii and this one is pretty close! Last but not least, the viannese style dessert was out of this world! I almost lost my mind with all the different dessert you can have. From chocolate shots, to red velvet cupcakes, to all the cheesecake you can get, to a water fountain of chocolate where you can dip desserts such as rice crispies treat or pound cake, & strawberries. They even had a crepe station, zeppolis, and funnel cake station. You have to be kidding me right? No, Its no joke! Its the BEST thing Ive even had, and I ate as much as I can! Overall I would give the rating "Very good." It was excellent, but definitely better than most catering halls. The venue can host 2 events at one time, which can be a nuisance, but at Seasons you really had no idea that another event was going on. A big plus is that you don't share bathrooms, or at least it didn't appear that way. The cocktail hour was full of a variety of different food. Really a very "fully loaded" cocktail hour. The food was good to very good, but I would say anything was excellent, however when compared to most other catering halls, it's definitely up there in terms of quailtity and variety. I am not sure if it's because we arrived late to the cocktail hour or maybe the lighting, but the displays looked how they tasted, slightly stale. I think that the venue has the ability to update their displays to make it less "tacky" and more modern. The servers had white glove service which was a nice touch. Drinks were made very strong but the liquor choices were fair. If you didn't specify a liquor you got the house, which for example was Popov for vodka. Dinner entrees were also very good, I had the chicken and my husband had the chateubriand. Don't get the steak, it looked more like meatloaf, the chicken was very good and flavorful. I asked for a dietary accomodation and they were able to oblige which was amazing as most places are strict on their entree preparation. Dessert was ok and if you were sitting at your seat for more than 20 minutes they took it away from you. I would have had the DJ make an announcement about dessert being on the table, so guests didn't miss it. The staff were all professional and very helpful in accommodating even the smallest request. Top of the line catering and banquet venue. The service and food were excellent. The Ramsey (New Jersey) Public Education Foundation holds their annual fundraising event here each year. The ticket price includes an open bar, an extensive buffet and dessert. The highlights of the buffet are the sushi station, rack of lamb, pasta station, antipasti, Asian station and cheeses. There was plenty of food. The staff is always there to make sure you are taken care of and the managers were wearing earphones as if they were in the secret service. We attended a wedding at Seasons on the 4th. It was a beautiful venue and the outdoor setting was just perfect. The most incredible part of the experience was the cocktail hour and the dinner. The entrees were seriously delicious. We had fish and chicken which were some of the most delicious meals we've had. We were impressed with the ability of the kitchen to take orders for 200ish people and produce such a huge quantity that was so perfect. The DJ was a lot of fun and the staff was super helpful. Seasons includes lighting packages for the first floor at an additional cost and ambiant ceiling lighting for he second floor at no extra charge. I was at a wedding last night. My first experience walking in was a rude and condescending staff member. Nothing ruins an event more than an employee of the catering venue being nasty. I had to wait in my car for nearly an hour and when the outdoor ceremony finally started I watched it from the balcony as I didn't even want to be among the guests. It wasn't a bright idea to hold the ceremony outdoors and turning off the waterfalls didn't quite compensate for the noise of traffic. Then another server came by to ask another offensive question. At that point it was so awful I met the groom downstairs outside the bridal suite (never met the bride), gave him my gift envelope and left. I had a restaurant back in the 80's and hosted many weddings. I always drilled into my staff that every single person is to be treated like your grandmother. I guess the staff at Seasons isn't quite seasoned. Don't work in the hospitality industry if you don't know how to treat people. Remember how much your hosts are paying for their friends and family to be there; your sole function is to be accommodating, courteous and polite. I don't care how sumptuous the cuisine may be or how much gleaming crystal hangs from the ceiling. I'd host a wedding on a NYC subway platform before I'd hire this venue. read more
