They installed tint on all my windows they said it was Life Time warranty when the 2 front windows staring to look bad I when back and the wanted to charge $ 50.00 for labor to replace the film in the 2 front windows.in the invoice says nothing about changing for labor if the film was bad. They were advertising this deal as seen in the screenshot for 5 windows for $80 they did not specify that the deal doesn't cover the driver + passenger window which makes no fucking sense why would they include 5 windows in this special if it they would only do the back 3. So they said with the front windows it would be $120 with the lowest tint grade and the guy was talking me into it, then another guy joins in and asks what car I drive and then said that tint wouldn't last on my Lexus... didn't know the tint was car specific so he said that I would need a higher grade and it would be $180... obviously I left because I drove 40 minutes for this "deal" they were having but it was complete bullshit they were just trying to pull in customers. Took my car in for a basic tint job and they immediately tried to upsell for 4 times the amount. They advertise free gold star warranty but forget to mention it's not for basic tint even though that is what is shown in ad. Had tint installed and it was bubbled on all windows they said it would correct in 2 or 3 days but if not tough shit no warranty on installation of basic tint. Also had visor tint installed that they put on in 2 pieces but it was bubbled and seperated in center. I told them i wouldnt pay for shoddy work so they pulled the visor strip out. The next day the window tint was peeling and falling off. Take my word find another tint shop who may charge a little more but stand behind thier work. These people are crooks. DO NOT GO HERE. I just had the most despicable experience I've ever had at ANY business in my entire life. The guy that runs(owns?) this business is a thug and does not deserve your business. And to think I'd be treated this way as a repeat customer. SMH. I stopped in to "The Tint Shop" around 3 PM on a Thursday to see if they had time to tint my windows the next day, Friday. I wanted to make an appointment as I was on a very specific schedule that day and knew it would take some time. The guy who runs(owns?) the business gave me the quote and answered my questions, letting me know it would take about an hour and a half. I asked if Noon worked for him and he said yes. I made the appointment and set my schedule for the next day. On Friday, I showed up just before Noon and stood at the counter. The guy asked "What's up bro?" I told him I was here for my appointment at noon and he said, "Oh yeah. Are you gonna wait for it or drop it off?" Me: "It'll take about an hour and a half, right?" Him: "Well, yes but I have to get these 2 cars done first." Me: "But I made the appointment so that my car would get done at noon." Him: "Well they made an appointment too and they're in front of you!!" Me: "So what's the point of making an appointment if I'm going to have to wait behind people anyway?" He then takes my key and slams it on the other side of the water bottle I had with me and says: "You know what, if you don't like it, leave!" At this point I am shocked and amazed at what just happened. All I could say was "wow". I couldn't believe the way he was talking to me after asking a simple question about his appointment policy. He then starts screaming at me to "get the F out" and calls me a "motherf***er". I turn to ask him what his problem is and he is in my face bumping his chest against me, yelling "you got a problem?!" I put my arm out to put distance between us, and tell him not to touch me. I then turn to walk away, and as soon as my back was turned to him, he shoves me in the back (like the real man he is), and calls me a few more choice names. It took every ounce of energy I had to walk away and not do something stupid. This experience is beyond comprehension. this goes far beyond bad customer service. I have never, and seriously doubt I'll EVER be treated like this by an established business again. Cannot stress enough, DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. read more

Spoke with Alonzo on the phone and he gave me a price for basic tint on my Chevy Tahoe, I arrived and he showed me the DUB IR Tint, and explained it's difference compared to other tints. It was a bit more than basic tint but we'll worth the money. They also emphasized on wanting to get the Tint on perfect and Took about 2 hours. This is a great shop with awesome people. I know alot of tint shops that don't do this good of a job. I highly recommend it. read more

I came in for a basic film on the back half of a new car. Paid $60 and it took about an hour. The guy at the desk offered warranty for an extra $40, but we declined. It turns out the rear window tint fell down within 20 minutes of leaving the store! Now we have to fix this problem. read more

So I was highly recommended to get my tint done at this shop by a good friend and I'm so glad I did! I literally called up the shop on Sunday 8/7 and spoke with JR. who kindly invited me to bring in my vehicle same day. I brought in my new 2016 Honda Civic around 2:00pm and they tinted me vehicle and it only took about 1.5 to 2 hrs. When I arrived at the shop I was so happy with the outcome of all the hard work they put in to make my Honda perfect. I was so happy with the darkness of my tint and how perfect it was. I've been doing business with JR for over 4 years now. I've brought over 5 of my cars and friends to get work done by JR/The tint shop. EVERYTHING is always on point from getting bubbles out of the windows to the warranty provided. You would be a fool not to get your work done by a professional like JR and his associates. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming to this dump. This was the worst service I've ever received. I came across this place on IG and saw they were having a $60 deal for 5 windows. I said that's a deal (wait for it) so I came in at 930am and meet the owner and he was quick to give me a quote. He seemed a little arrogant but whatever I don't care, I don't expect everyone to be bubbly or customer centric, but this guy was a complete ghetto unprofessional. I don't care how long you have been in business etc but in my mind I'm like cool story bro. He told me 5 windows means the rear view, the passenger windows, and the little windows in the passenger windows. I said fair enough, I should of known. I was caught off guard as he was going to charge me 30 to remove existing tint, I made a comment of " I should of removed the tint myself" no pun intended but I could of removed but I said fuck it, I'll just pay. So I ended up paying 60 and 30 for the removal, I was going to come back for the front ones later. So I said 90 not bad but this guy tried to pull a fast one on me. He gave me a bill for 100, I paid partial cash of 80 so that left a balance of 10. He tried to run my visa for and extra 30!!! I said hey I think you're over charging me, he tried to say that he charged me 40 for removal for the rear and 10 for the smaller window I said bullshit! He began to get crazy and every time I tried to talk he Ellie's cut me off, so I said fuck this clown. He walked away and said " I will wipe my ass with 30 dollars" I swear I've never meet the most unprofessional establishment. This dude is a complete joke. Save your money and go to another tint shop. These guys had to redo my car TWO times and after the second time getting it RETINTED it still looks TERRIBLE. Not only does it seem like they don't know what they are doing but their communication is terrible they reschedule me to come in to get my windows retinted because the first time they did it all windows had bubbles. I show up and the shops closed And I contact the guy and he said he left the shop and forgot about our appointment. So again we reschedule 2 days after this incident and AGAIN they tell me they have no time to redo my windows because the don't have enough time. SO I drove to their shop twice for no reason. I've been to other tint shops and they got it perfect the first time. Don't want to deal with them anymore so I'm taking my car to tint masters in Montclair to redo all my windows for the THIRD time. read more
