Loved visit! Food was good and service was great. Maybe a couple more bourbons on the shelf but hey...place was still great.

Lighting low and comfortable but not dark. Some background music and TVs, but very navigable for new hearing aid users pursuing conversations. Not dreaded dead silence, but not cacophony. The bartenders and wait staff were all friendly and welcoming (c'mon, it is Salem after all). Well done guys! !Servers Always available to help, obviously being attentive, but not being pesky. Being one who ian avid beer drinker and occasionally wine with friends, it is easy to just say WOW! What a fantastic presentation and selection of tap brews, bottled beers,, and racks of wines. Clearly a beer lover with taste has gathered this selection. Like sitting down in a library of bold, gathered by someone who obviously likes to read. Yup. A beer (and wine) library. Living in the San Francisco area now, OG would get good reviews if it was in our neighborhood, I'm sure. Kudos to Scott L for being friendly and introducing himself casually. And for dedicating this amount of caring energy into the beloved Salem community. A fun class gathering in a venue that can easily continue Spark to a Tea/energizing of the hopefully burgeoning new downtown Salem movement Good on ya'! We'll be back .

Bartenders Lexi and Aaron were very attentive with excellent recommendations! The drinks are made to order but we always had a drink in our hand! There are a few seats at the bar and about 10 small tables. I would recommend making a reservation but we were lucky enough to walk in! They have some small plates options for grazing. Very cool space but lacking in their ability to bring the experience to reality…read more Our visit had one "hostess" who was also watching the store (super sweet lady) and two bartenders. Though there were pretty attentive when we first arrived, they quickly became distracted with other tables. We lost count how many times they passed us by when our water and cocktail glasses were empty (we were in the middle of their single path of travel). Cocktails were decent but their prices were proud; I would say the same for their small plate items. We were visiting from Dallas and paying $18 for a cocktail is a starting point there. Paying $18 in the back of a mercantile store with mediocre service, though the space was nice, was a stretch.
