Wonderful family owned restaurant/bar on State Route 7 in Columbiana. My wife and I went there for the first time today for lunch. We were immediately greeted by Sonya, who gave us menus and took our drink orders. For our meals, my wife selected the BLT salad, which she really enjoyed. I had the quarter pound Bacon Barbecue Burger that came with fresh French fries that were sliced in the kitchen from whole potatoes. The bacon was thick sliced and prepared perfectly. My wife shared some of the onion straws from her salad, so I put them on my burger. It was really good that way (hint, hint... maybe the restaurant will serve burgers with the onion straws on them). We really enjoyed our visit to Sabi's, and Sonya was delightful and did a great job of looking after us. We'll be back. read more

Service at the bar was exceptional from a young lady named Briana. She was HUSTLING and still found time to explain things to us and assist with the menu. Very busy this Monday evening. A friend kept telling me how great this restaurant was so we went for lunch. It was delicious! It's small inside and was pretty busy. Our server was attentive, but mildly annoying calling us girls. We started with drinks. My coconut mojito could have been a bit sweeter. The Brussels sprouts were divine. My side salad with the white French dressing was very good. Amazing family owned restaurant. We were there Wednesday for their pizza and wing night. Could not describe the wings and pizza but better than any other place. Their regular menu and social menu is amazing as well from the 714 chicken to the Dante Oasis. Unbelievable. Yum! I went to Sabi's this past Monday and the food was phenomenal. I got the citrus salmon, and it was simply divine. Not only was food amazing but the service was spectacular. I believe our server's name was Becca. She was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. She checked up on us a lot but not to the point of it being annoying and was just a personable server that made the experience great. What makes me give this restaurant a one-star review and the deciding factor that I will never be back was the way the management spoke to the staff. It was horrible and truly they should be ashamed. To speak to staff in that way IN FRONT of customers is unprofessional and degrading. I wanted to ask to speak to the manager, but it was busy during the time so I hope this review finds the right person who can do something about it. We visited Sabi's after 2 local breweries recommending this place! We were not disappointed! The service was excellent ! Special shout out to Gage for the great recommendations and service ! Everything was delicious! Would definitely return to try other menu items because everything sounded delicious! The place is very nice inside and has outside dining options! I ordered the crab cake sandwich "The Crabi Sabi" and what a disappointment. The crab was cold and not cooked. It was actually "mushy" in the middle. I know sometimes they use egg as a "binder" for the crab cake, and I did not want to get sick, so I sent it back. When the waitress returned my sandwich, they just returned the crab cake without rebuilding the sandwich. Did they want me to use the old bread from the uncooked crab cake? I could not eat the garbage they served. Our bill came to $80+ dollars and the only thing I was able to eat was the French onion soup. No one attempted to make this right. So I would not recommend Sabi's unless you are willing to pay $80 for a meal you cannot eat. read more

We usually enjoy this establishment for lunch. However, today's event will make me think twice about coming back. Our server Brie spent a long time talking to patrons who were seated after my mom and I were seated. She went into details as to when she just had her baby and the the patrons were please about the condo they purchase in Vero Beach Florida. My point is that we're sitting that close to each other that we can hear the long and detailed conversation. After Brie has taken the other patron's orders and delivers the meals is when she finally came over to ask if we're ready to order. You can imagine how long it was from being seated and asking what we wanted for lunch. I told Brie we were ready the moment we sat down. She responded with a poor attitude saying "You should've told me when you sat down." My mother (86 years old) and I come to Sabi's each week for their French Onion Soup and a glass of wine. Im afraid to go back. To the owners of this establishment, please have a talk with Brie and explain how she should treat her customers with respect. read more

Overall the atmosphere and the food were good. The servers were quick and friendly. The only thing I have negative to say is that the French onion soup was incredibly salty and I couldn't even finish half my bowl. The espresso martini was perfection though. read more

Three friends went out tonight for cocktails, appetizers and was hoping to continue to dinner. We each ordered a cocktail and appetizer. Wonderful waiter/bartender. I thorough read the menu and description. Tonight there were lettuce wraps on the menu. We ordered two along with the spinach and artichoke dip. Cocktails were wonderful! The lettuce wraps were covered in sesame seeds. Those were not listed on the description. When the manager walked by, I politely stated, "please always list on the description when you are adding seeds". She was not polite or pleasant. She actually looked at me and scolded me with her reply: "usually our guests tell us when they have an allergy". Wow. I was not asking for a free meal. I did not ask for a replacement. You won the battle. Congratulations. I thoroughly read the menu. If seeds or nuts are listed and I want the dish, I ask them to be removed. Simple. These seeds were not listed. We did not stay for dinner. We won't return. I don't need scolded. It was a legitimate concern to mention to a manager there is a missing ingredient that would cause hospitalization. We were in the area for the weekend and had dinner at Sabi's. We shared the featured potstickers appetizer, which was delicious. This was followed by a side salad with the highly recommended White French dressing (I bought a container of the dressing to take home - so good!). I ran into locals the night before who told me to order the Dante's Oasis. They were spot on. When the plate came out, my first thought was that it wasn't a lot of food, but it was SO filling that I took a small portion home. My husband ordered the Sirloin Haze which he enjoyed. We ordered the Hot Cocoa Cake that came with a small frozen hot chocolate. The frozen hot chocolate was very good but the cake had a grittiness to it and was difficult to enjoy. This doesn't cause me to take off any stars - I'd just try a different dessert next time! The staff did a fabulous job. It was clearly the area's Homecoming Dance tonight, so they were likely busier than usual with groups of students coming in. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was mediocre, at best. We had an incident where my nephew hit his head on the corner of a sharp table and he had to leave the restaurant to receive stitches. I told the manager what was going on and she was extremely cold and not compassionate at all. I overheard her discussing how "some kid got cut and needs stitches" to a guy at the bar, while rolling her eyes and shrugging. My family will never be back to this place. If I could give 27 stars I would. From first opening to today they've always been top notch. Never had any growing pains, none that the guests would ever know. The staff / waitresses are very knowledgeable of their menu. They are quick and accommodating. The atmosphere is moody with plenty of real plants adorning the tables. The menu is small but covers lots of different options AND they have a designated gluten free menu! Their weekend / dinner specials have always been delicious and different. The drink menu is fun and changes for the season. Currently the hot mulled wine is my winter go-to. My husband and I have literally never had a bad meal or service here. I bring work associates to treat them for birthdays. I've invited colleagues for lunch and we plan to have our business meeting here. I'm actually anxious about posting this review because even more people will know the splendor of this establishment and soon we will not have a table when we walk in! If there are four people at the table, you have to shout at each other in order to be heard. When it is only two of us, we still have to repeat things that we are saying to each other, and we have a hard time hearing the waitress as well.
