    Absolutely Lifesaver on the 4th of July!…read more I am on a long road trip with my family in our 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander when our dashboard suddenly lit up with a bunch of serious malfunction errors, and the car lost driving power. It was incredibly stressful, especially since it happened right before the holiday weekend when almost every other repair shop was completely closed. I pulled into this Steve's Shell Service Center, and Steve stepped up to help us. He was incredibly friendly, kind, and calm. He is extremely knowledgeable about modern vehicle electronics and took the time to listen to what happened, scan the vehicle's computer codes, and explain exactly what was causing the glitch. He cleared the error codes for us completely for free so we could get back on the road safely and finish our holiday trip. After a long test drive, the car is running perfectly normal again and all the dashboard lights are gone. Steve didn't just fix our car's electronic glitch; he saved our entire holiday weekend. If you ever need honest, expert, and genuinely caring mechanical help, go see Steve at this Shell station. I cannot thank him enough!

    We were driving my brother's van from Rancho Cucamonga, California to Lakewood, Colorado and back…read moreto see my father in the hospital. On the way back, we had to have the car jump-started at one of the places where we stopped to get gas. We had already had the battery charged when we left that morning so it surprised us. The closer we got to Cedar City, UT, it was clear that the battery was dead and we were on the alternator. We confirmed it the next morning when AAA jump-started the battery again. To be safe, we had the van towed to Steve's. We did not have an appointment. We were stranded over the holiday weekend. Fred was incredibly caring. He didn't have the battery, ordered it from his many resources to deliver it to him, installed it and checked the alternator in between the MANY cars he was servicing. That kind of service is very rare these days. We are tremendously grateful that we found them.

    A Heartfelt Kudos for Jonathan LG - True Customer Service Hero…read moreTo the Leadership Team at Les Schwab Tires, On May 18th, my husband and I were traveling from Nevada to Utah to attend our grandchildren's graduations when our vehicle suddenly began vibrating. Within moments, the shaking became so violent that we could barely control the car and were forced to pull into the emergency lane. Thankfully, the Cedar City exit was close, and we spotted your Les Schwab location at 1403 S Providence Center. We limped in and explained our frightening situation. Jonathan LG immediately took charge. He pulled our vehicle right into the bay, put it up on the lift, removed the tires, and thoroughly inspected everything. He discovered the front tires were out of balance and added a .75 oz weight to each. After a careful test drive, he confirmed the vehicle was safe and smooth once again. What truly sets Jonathan apart is what happened next. He told us all charges were waived and that he would personally take care of it. In a world where this kind of genuine care and generosity is increasingly rare, Jonathan's actions restored not only our vehicle but our faith in exceptional customer service. Thanks to him, we were able to return home safely with the peace of mind of knowing the problem had been properly addressed.     I've been a loyal customer of Les Schwab since they opened in Cedar because they have consistently…read moredelivered outstanding service. That's why today's experience was so deeply disappointing. I arrived with a scheduled appointment at 9:00 a.m. to have the rear shocks replaced on my vehicle. The service technician assured me the job would only take a few hours. By 2:00 p.m., with no update, I called the shop. I was told they were behind and hadn't even started on my car yet, but they promised they would begin work at 3:00 p.m. When I still hadn't heard anything by 5:00 p.m., I returned to the shop and found my vehicle sitting untouched in the exact same parking spot--eight full hours after I dropped it off. The technician then admitted they were running far behind and said they would start "right away," estimating the job at about 30 minutes. At that moment, I was tempted to just let them finish, but the complete lack of respect for my time and my appointment left me with no choice but to take my business elsewhere. My car sat idle in their lot all day while my place in line was repeatedly pushed back. This level of poor communication and disregard for a confirmed appointment is unacceptable. It has significantly damaged my trust in Les Schwab and unfortunately overshadows all the positive experiences I've had with them in the past. I expected much better.
