Everyone was incredibly nice and informative no complaints there. When I had left the shop my car had a problem where it wouldn't go anymore. It was fully in limp mode. It would start and run but the gas wouldn't rev the engine or anything. I only made it like 150-200ft from the shop. Two very nice construction guys helped me push it out of the way. Anyway, I walked back up to the shop and explained the issue. The staff were very responsive and kind about the situation even though I was visibly frustrated but trying to keep my composure. They immediately jumped under the hood trying to find the issue. We got my car back into the bay and they spent some more time to find out what was wrong. It's still a complete mystery I guess but they replaced my air filter and that seemed to fix the problem (my current one was still good which is why it's a mystery) My car is perfectly fine now there was nothing damaged and they did refund my service for the inconvenience which I did appreciate. The staff handled the entire situation professionally and efficiently so I really don't have anything negative to say about the experience. Things like this happen sometimes but the way it's handled is what really matters.

The technicians are very polite, patient (with me, because I didn't know what the difference in the oil options were haha), and efficient. I love that I didn't have to get out of my car and their location was great. If you're a healthcare worker/first responder, you get a nice discount too - which they let me know about. I think the value for the service is great. I'll definitely be back for my next oil change.

I had just had received my 70 Oldsmobile 442 back from the engine manufacturer (Mondello Performance) for over heating issues. I took the car out for any easy drive from WSMR to LC. 2miles onto 70 the car vapor locked and died. I had the car towed to Baird's Automotive because they were the closest shop. It was a great find for me. The shop fixed the vapor lock issue. When I drove it home I found I was still having overheating issues. Called the shop and came back in. Total repair took about 2 weeks. The issues turned out to be a ballooned radiator and insufficient air movement. Which lead to overheating and a header gasket leak. Baird's worked with Mondello the entire time to ensure warranties on the engine were not violated and engine specs were maintained. Much of the delay time was parts shipping from Mondello to Baird's. Baird's called and informed me when they agreed and disagreed with Mondello, but maintained a professional environment regardless of agreeances. Thanks To the service, leadership, and mechanics at Baird's Automotive, the "Blue Beast" is running great again.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS TAKE 5 LOCATION! DO NOT FALL FOR THE WARRANTY!…read more If I could give this place zero stars I would. On September 3, 2026, I took my vehicle to Take 5 for what should have been a simple oil change. What happened afterward was an absolute nightmare, and nearly two weeks later, I am still being ignored by upper management. A 15 minute oil change turned into over 2 hours and a bill of $178 and another bill of unknown charges due to damages. To begin with, Take 5 did not even enter the correct mileage for my vehicle into their system. I did not notice this until I received my invoice after the service was completed. They did not forget to note that there were engine oil leaks on arrival ( is this a CYA for the shop?) and an air filter was recommended. During the oil change, I was told that oil was pouring out of my vehicle because the dipstick had not been put in correctly. Instead of properly draining all of the oil and starting over, they simply added oil back into the vehicle based on what they believed had been lost. After they claimed the issue was "fixed," we drove less than a mile away before my vehicle suddenly popped. A large cloud of white smoke started coming from my exhaust, oil was dripping from underneath my vehicle, and oil was also coming from the exhaust pipes. The vehicle was smoking so severely that I immediately drove it back to Take 5. When I returned, even the employees appeared shocked by what they were seeing. At one point, one of the technicians actually said, "f*."** That alone made it very clear to me that something had gone seriously wrong. They then told me to let them try to "fix" the issue. They took my vehicle back into the bay and eventually drained the oil and refilled it with only 10 quarts. I also have written documentation from the shop indicating that they did not completely drain all of the oil before refilling my vehicle when the original oil loss occurred. It is now September 14, 2026, and despite everything that has happened, the district manager has refused to return my calls. I have attempted to get help from Take 5 corporate, only to be told that this particular location is not corporately owned. Corporate has told me that all they can do is send an email to the location and request that the manager contact me. The shop manager advised me to DRIVE my vehicle to their mechanic to be "checked out" but if a diagnosis needs to be done Take 5 is not responsible for the charges!! So after taking my vehicle in for a routine oil change, I was left with a vehicle that was severely smoking, leaking oil, and experiencing serious issues less than one mile after leaving the shop. Now I cannot even get a district manager to return my calls or address what happened. I trusted Take 5 with my vehicle for a basic oil change, and I deeply regret that decision. The lack of proper service, the apparent mistakes made during the oil change, and the complete lack of communication afterward are unacceptable. I strongly recommend documenting everything and thinking twice before trusting this location with your vehicle. I have documentation and records regarding what

*************************…read more I've been a "car guy" for about 50+ years ... kinda been around the block when it comes to automobiles, airplanes, boats, and motorcycles. Personally, I'd never want to be in the business of retail service in any industry - especially personal automobiles. Too difficult to please everyone. We've serviced three different vehicles here over the past 1.5 years with GREAT SUCCESS. I find the staff to be polite, friendly, capable and skilled. Plain and Simple, my personal experience is ... "these folks know what they are doing." Your own personal expectations may be different than mine. But I believe any "reasonable" "intelligent" and "rational" person will find this shop to be honest, and capable. We have successfully serviced three vehicles with individual values between $22,000 - $212,000 ... with confidence. I've met the manager, Patty, on more than one occasion and appreciate the working environment she cultivates with her staff. So - I trust them to work on my vehicles and highly recommend this shop.
