I'm going to give this 4 stars simply because to me, the food was not good. However, the service made up for that. I was seated by Cayden, and my waiter was there quick to take my drink order. She was very efficient. Even when she wasn't around, Cayden and my waiter was readily available to assist with the refill of my drink, and extra silverware and napkins. I heard the hot honey chicken was very popular, so, I tried it, being I love hot honey. Well, it just simply lacked taste. The hash browns were also flavorless. I could t finish it, but I'm glad to know where the service beats the food. I appreciate a clean restroom along with the restaurant being clean as well. Morning visit with friends, after an eventful morning with our friend car being wrongfully towed from a complex parked in front of a private paid parking garage. I order the grab and go breakfast tacos, which was okay. The bacon wasn't as crispy crunchy as the other location in cypress. And one of the tacos had too much butter on it, which made my tortilla a bit of a wetness, which I did not like. I prefer it with a tad crispiness. So the second one, i only at the filling of the cheesy eggs and mid crispy bacon. They dropped the ball on my potatoes which was requested in my taco but not delivered. The service was friendly. Dined here for late brunch one afternoon while in Houston. This location is not as large as others but very nice and seems to get a lot of guests as it was bit crowded. I tried the special the Reuben Sandwich Benedict with cheese hash browns. My food was freshly made delicious and the eggs were cooked to my liking perfect medium poached. The chicken salad was also very good. Their signature Bloody Mary was little spicy the way I like to have mines. Anyway, I would go back to this location again if in this area. My food came out 10 minutes after my girlfriends food because of a mistake in the kitchen. When it came out, it looked like it was lazily put together. The cheese on the egg sandwich wasn't melted at all and the portion of the hash brown casserole was half the size my girlfriend got. The coffee we both got also had coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup. The manager on duty, Ilene, did NOT come out to talk to me or to apologize. The server and the host were very nice and apologetic but it shouldn't be their problem to handle mistakes like this. My girlfriend's omelet was good at least. $22 with a 10% discount for the mistake for just an omelet and two coffees with grounds it them is expensive. In town for a brief visit and stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday. Plenty parking and seating. We were greeted and seated without any delay. I was craving pancakes and added n egg and bacon. The bacon was excellent. Just the right thickness, crispiness, and fattiness. The eggs were cooked too long and part of them had begaun to brown. They weren't inedible. But I certainly hope that's not how they are usually served. I wasn't asked if I wanted them cooked hard or soft. The pancakes were huge and hot. Not bad but I'd try another dish if I were to return. I asked for extra butter one time and it never came. The server was cool but was a little less attentive than I expected as it was not at all busy. The music wasn't too loud which made for great conversation without yelling. There's a bar but we didn't get any 'dranks'. What an awesome breakfast joint! This is a perfect place to meet friends, come on a date, or just indulge by yourself. I ordered the Southwest breakfast bowl. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. I highly recommend if you have a big appetite but watch out as it can be a little spicy. I also tried my friends biscuits and gravy and they were soooo good. The gravy was nice and peppery, yum! We all enjoyed our meals. We got a round of mimosas as well which were good. Came here today for some breakfast as I'm visiting town. Checked out the menu and of course I picked the biscuits and gravy! The place was nice and clean. Staff seemed friendly enough. It was a cool little spot. Why 3 stars. I placed my order and I swear 2 minutes later my food was at the table. That's not a bad thing given what I had ordered. However, my biscuit was very hard. It has a good flavor to it, but it wasn't soft. The gravy was very delicious and I enjoyed the big chunks of sausage in it. The gravy wasn't hot enough and was very thick so it didn't make the biscuits soft enough to enjoy. My waiter was cool, but didn't check on me at all. I sat for 10 minutes and finally asked for the bill since he never really asked me how I was. And I was sitting at the bar. I tried striking conversation to get some suggestions on things because of course I'm not from here. But his responses seemed like he was more annoyed so I didn't try to have a conversation with him. Gave him my money and left. I did have another guy talk to me twice and check on me. He was really nice. Would I try this place again? I would because I seen things on the menu I would enjoy. Menu has a number of affordable varieties and it was easy to make substitutions to our orders. The environment is super chill/casual I've been to this chain several times and the food is pretty consistent. It's always moist and dirty. Things are breaking and need to be taken care of more. I don't know why it always feels like a sauna in there but it does. Then they disappeared and we had to fetch a waiter to take our order. He happily took our order and explained the menu and went away. My eggs were cooked perfectly over hard, and the grits had the right texture and consistency. Also, They were not swimming in butter, which I appreciated. The two pieces of sausage were standard fare, but one piece of sausage would've been plenty. Grits were cooked to perfection and I don't say that lightly. The savory bacon and diced tomatoes, offset the bit of spice kick making for an excellent entree.
