Ms Tee is a wonderful person. She recognizes all the returning customers and always smiles. She serves breakfast and lunch. Great prices. The daily menu is posted on Facebook every day. Look for @Teesdelihouston on Facebook. If you don't like whats on the menu she will make it for you. That's great customer service. Definitely a hidden gem.

Ms. Tee is so friendly, always smiling, and a sweet person! I ordered a bacon cheese burger and bag of chips for $5. Flavorful, moist burger, tastes all-American. Thank you, Ms. Tee!

Best Bacon Cheeseburger In Its Price Range When I search for "Burger" on Yelp, Tee Deli shows up highly rated, so I give it a try. I was promptly greeted and welcomed by the owner Tee when I got into her deli located inside a commercial office building. It's a cafeteria style deli with freshly cooked daily special waiting for her customers. I asked for the menu and Tee recited to me some of the more popular menu item as the place is undergoing renovation. I didn't need to hear anything else after she mentioned "Bacon Cheeseburger", because that's exactly why I was there for today. The Classic Bacon Cheeseburger arrived in a big bed of French Fries. After I took my first bite, I know immediately this is going to be a good burger. The patty is well seasoned, although well done, it's still moist and not dry at all. The burger comes with good-sized crisply fried bacon strips, topped with usual fresh lettuce and tomato, with mustard and mayo. I cut the burger in half, and slowly finish the whole burger. A good sign of good food to me is that I enjoy my first bite and the very last bite too. Tee came by and checked on me and my food to make sure everything is okay. As I approached the cashier to pay, Tee and I talked a little bit, and find out that they serve Fried Chicken on Mondays, which definitely secures my next visit sooner. When Tee told me the total is $6.50, I reminded her that I had a bottle of Perrier too. Tee assured me that was indeed the total with food and drink. That's one of the fullest meal I could get for that price. I had a wonderful lunch experience at Tee Deli. I feel very welcomed by Tee, and her cooking is very home-style and comforting. I know she will remember me next time I return because Tee is simply a nice woman who loves to cook for her customers and make sure they are happy at her charming deli.

Came here for the first time today. Tee Deli's reviews on both Yelp and Google are a perfect 5/5 and I can say without reservation it is well deserved!! If you are looking for home cooking made with love and care you would be doing yourself a favor if you stopped by! Tee, the owner, is incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Wednesdays special is fried chicken and it was very good along with the to die for macaroni and cheese. The prices are very fair and the portions will have you leaving full! This certainly won't be my last time coming to do this hidden gem!

Grilled Chicken Sandwich comes with fresh slices of avocado, crispy strips of bacon and so much more.

Lots of seating, great wait staff, and the sandwiches are gigantic--as they should be for the price. $30 for a sandwich on average. We split an open face pastrami (which they brought an extra plate) and we are glad we did. The potato salad is tiny. Too much sandwich for one but not enough potato salad for two! The pickles they provide before your sandwich arrives are yummy- not like a traditional out of the bar pickle. These are what I remember from NYC. Garlic and not sweet. We also had the apple pie alamode. Also pricey and gigantic. It was warm and delicious. Glad we tried this icon. We went at lunch and they get quite the crowd. You are not rushed at all. You can even take some bakery items to go--if you are too full to eat there. Amazing selection of cookies, rugala, black and white cookies and more.

The parking was a bit of a challenge, but it was easy enough because it was a calm Tuesday morning. To get from the parking area to the store, you just take the elevator one level down, and then you're right inside. This place is surprisingly big, filled with all kinds of snacks, cookies, and coffee. The highlight for me was their shawarma breakfast wrap. It was top-notch and exactly what I needed. You choose between whole wheat or white pita, and it's filled with scrambled eggs, your choice of fresh or sautéed spinach, and they add potatoes as well. Then they top it with shawarma chicken, tomato, and a delicious sauce. For $8.5 it was worth every bite. Hands down, a five out of five. I also tried their coffee, which was just a standard brew sitting in ice for hours and nothing special. At $2.50, it was fine, but nothing to write home about. The real stars were the cookies. I got a coconut pecan cookie and an almond crunch cookie, and both were absolutely delicious. I didn't have time to explore the whole store, but there was a great selection of fresh produce, chocolates, and all sorts of small treats. Overall, the staff were really friendly, and the entire visit was smooth. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Five out of five stars!

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant while staying at a hotel in Houston for medical treatments. We had it delivered to our hotel and sadly it wasn't the best experience. When we got our order to the room we were missing one side that we ordered. We got Mac n cheese, green beans and potato salad with a brisket/smoked chicken combo and a brisket/ribs. I was shocked to see two pieces of brisket and a chicken breast for $28. Maybe it was an off night but the quality just wasn't there. All the food was cold (our fault bc we ordered it for delivery) and was lacking flavor. I called about 10 minutes before closing today and I had the pleasure of talking with Joseph the owner. I had no idea he was the owner, but he was so nice over the phone. I asked if it was OK if I was ordering right before they close and he was like no problem at all. Just a great nice person answering the phone. It was such a pleasure to talk with him because that type of service these days is kind of a lost Art. So when I get there, we start to talk he shook my hand, asked my name treated me like family. Very personable nice guy running this establishment. Their entire family are just top-notch professionals and they understand how to treat people the right way. This is a lost Art. Food: I went with the deluxe, which is with their special. Absolutely amazing. Fresh bread, all the flavor with their homemade aïoli sauce. The meats were real good as well. I elected for the olives, which were great. Great food I will definitely come back here and try several things off their menu. Being that I live in downtown, this is gonna be one of my go to Spots. I've lived in Houston my entire life for 43 years. I'm not sure how I've never stumbled upon this place. I talked to Joseph and he said he's been eating here for 43 years as he's 43 years of age as well. What a nice guy and a great family. They're doing an awesome job here. I can't wait to keep coming back and try more things off the menu, bringing clients there and becoming a regular. This is my first time ever eating at this establishment and Joseph made me feel like I've been going there for 20 years. Thank you, sir!

The bread was perfectly toasted, the cold cuts sliced just right and tasty and the italian spread was the perfect condiment. I'm not normally a cold deli sandwich person, but would order this sandwich over and over again. Since I was solo dining, but wanted to try more than just the sandwich on my first visit I opted for a side of spaghetti and the italian sausage. Dumped the italian sausage on my spaghetti and it was like a small side entree. The sausage was the highlight, but the spaghetti was well cooked and the traditional marinara was flavorful. While I expected the restaurant to be a little more bustling at lunch time, it was a very comfortable experience in the bright open dining area with a great deal of Houston Sports Memorabilia on the walls. I'm very glad to have visited this Houston Restaurant Icon.

I had originally wanted to come because I saw that they sold steaks for purchase you can bring home to cook. However, since it was lunchtime and we were already hungry, we decided to grab some lunch as well. We got the 3 meat combo with chicken, brisket, and ribs. It came with two sides and we chose coleslaw and chicken salad. I thought it was nice they had extra protein choices as sides. They also had a tuna salad and egg salad in addition to pasta salad, beans, potato salad and other options. The food came out quickly and the meats were all very tender. However, they just tasted salty. I had a hard time tasting any other spices/flavors which is what I'm accustomed to at other bbq places. The chicken salad was salty as well. It would've been tastier in a sandwich with some crisp greens versus just by itself. Coleslaw was average. Edible but nothing special. Husband thought it was too sweet. I do have to say the service was very friendly. The worker behind the counter gave us the impression that he really wanted to help and make us comfortable. When I found out they only sold bottled water, he offered to go to the back and grabbed us two cups of tap water, which was a nice gesture because he didn't have to. We ended up not getting any other meats because the unpackaged steaks looked dried out and sad in fridge. I wasn't sure if those were the pieces they would sell you or if they were just for display. But for $34.99/lb, I didn't want to risk them giving me the dried out looking steak. Overall, it seemed like people really like this place . The person in front of my husband said this place has the best burgers! And lots of people kept coming in and out. However, for us, this isn't our favorite.
