It's a great coffee shop in a small retail plaza. It offers a large dining area, both inside and outside. Minuti Coffee also offers a variety of espresso drinks, both traditional and uncommonly found elsewhere. I ordered the Cubano; I found it amusing that their menu said to "make it sexy by adding cinnamon," lol. The barista quickly made me the drink and delivered it to me. I've never had a Cubano, but it tastes like Turkish coffee. I like how sandwiches are also offered here. They have a few combos with their Lucenta Juice (organic), though I didn't order any this time. When I visited early on a Sunday morning, the coffee shop was quiet, though the space is large enough to accommodate many people. There's a long booth on one side of the space, but most tables are only big enough to seat two people. All in all, I'd return here to try some of their other drinks. This place's vibe differs from a Starbucks; it feels more refined and slightly more upscale. It also seems like a good place to get some work done with their complimentary wifi. read more

I think I expected more from the coffee. It is a good place to remotely work. There is free wifi and the music is blaring. Although I understand, I do not love premade tacos with no way to remove an ingredient. I ended up getting a egg and sausage croissant sandwich. I come here often,but on yesterday I was let down. Young lady by the name angel(I think) service was ok. But I have an issue with using the same glove to ring up guest,press and touch the headset on drive,then return to try and make food. It's very unsanitary. I asked her to change her gloves "please ". I still don't understand why restaurant employees get upset when you asked them to do this. Cute little cafe, I got a croissant (heated up) with a dirty chai. It's always a risk getting a dirty chai because it's either amazing or it tastes horrible- there is no in between. They NAILED it! This is one of the top five best dirty chais I've ever had! I was so happy! Our barista was super friendly and quick! Despite the line inside plus people in the drive thru she handled it all like a pro. Solid little shop to drop in and get a coffee. I was able to get a fairly nice cortado and catch a meeting while in this part of town. The Pros of this location is that there's not much else nearby that isn't a huge chain. I really try to find one off type shops and this one was pleasant. Excellent coffeeshop in the energy corridor. Great for getting work done and studying! Ambiance: there's music playing, but it's not too loud. With some noise-proof headphones you won't notice it at all! During the winter they play Christmas songs which I love. Seats are comfortable and plenty of seating. The larger tables are reserved for 2+ people but don't worry, there's plenty of small tables around. Temps inside are also good - I find some coffee shops too cold and this is not the case here. Outdoors: great patio seating on a nice Houston day. Dog friendly on the patio. Service: excellent. Super friendly and kind baristas. Price: competitive price to other coffee chains. Small black coffee start around ~$2.50. Coffee drinks ~$5. If you load a gift card with $25-$30 you can get a free small-any size coffee drink! And you can use your gift card at any Minuti. When I visit coffee shops it's to try their hot chocolate, tea, or chai tea offerings as caffeine makes me super sick hence why I avoid coffee like the plague. I do like decaf but only drink that once every two blue moons. Even with decaf I am least due to still containing very small amounts or staff just giving me half and half because they don't have a lot of decaf. I love the hot chocolate offering here! Love it. They have a regular American hot chocolate and also a European style which is thicker, richer, and indulgent. Kind of like drinking fudge, if you will. The regular hot chocolate is just fine for me and the friendly staff at Minuti makes it well. DELICIOUS! Now, the other offerings I enjoy at coffee shops are the baked goods. While my sweet tooth is going away, it's still there. Minuti offers a variety but the ones I enjoy are the pistachio muffin and the blueberry muffin. Depending on the day decides which one is my favorite. They are moist sweet and the blueberry has a nice blueberry vanilla burst and the pistachio with its artificial green color is not too artificial for moi! I enjoy them very much! I do not always find a chain coffee shop I would like to "hangout at" but this one seems to be one of my favorites. CLEANLINESS: Every time I go in the staff is in the process of cleaning up newly emptied tables, floors are swept, bathrooms are always freshly cleaned. ATMOSPHERE: Depending on the day/time you never know what group of people you might end up sitting by so pack headphones if talking bothers you. People actually come out to socialize and enjoy themselves here which is another reason why I love it!!!! You won't be MASKED SHAMED LIKE SOME PLACES ARE TRYING TO DO.... Welcome addition to the energy corridor. Always liked Minuti Coffee but all other locations were never in my line of sight or driving on the way to work.... Here is what I liked best about this particular visit to the new location: 1) Was greeted by Johnny the owner in the parking lot. 2) Inside the shop is modern open feel, with able seating. 3) Staff appears well trained, as I listened to one of the workers careful and colorful explain the different variations of coffee drinks offered to a $&@?bucks devotee. The staff is friendly. 4) Maybe it is me but their drink menu seems a lot more expansive than $&@?bucks. 5) I'm not convinced on this one yet .....but they offfer a frequent drinkers program, that every time you reload your card with a minimum $25 credit you get a free drinks. First load is only a $1.00 discount. I do like the option but not sure it's for me. Hope this location does well. It very convenient. read more

This is a brand new location in the energy corridor, yay! I love this coffee as it is Italian based and oh so very smooth and delicious. Since I came to the grand opening, there was a lot of staff (super friendly) and provided outstanding customer service! Lots of pastries and gelato to choose from. I went with the sugar free vanilla shakerato (asked for light ice and light half & half). Another favorite of mine is the cappuccino! Great place for studying or catching up with some friends. Took too long to get greeted in the lobby and have order taken. Never has been like that in the previous years. On my way to Katy location.

I've only been here twice, but so far it's on par with the quality from Starbucks. A minor difference is that I think Minuti's coffee is less bitter, less sweet and more smooth in texture compared to Starbucks. The cafe doesn't get too crowded so far, compared to Beans Cafe (a few blocks down the street) and all the Starbucks locations in the area, so there are plenty of tables for studying or doing work. However, I wish they had more outlets in the walls. Also they blast upbeat Italian pop music on their speakers, which to me is distracting when I try doing work. Another thing is it's always freezing in this cafe, even when it is 50°F outside. The staff are really nice and they have plenty of snacks in their bakery like muffins, sandwiches and gelato. They also have alternative milks and offer decaf espresso. When you do order a drink, make sure to tell them the size you want, otherwise they might default your order to the grande/medium size. The customers who come here are usually adults who work in the area or college students trying to do some studying. Overall, I like coming back to do work. Although the music can be obnoxiously loud, the people who usually come here create a good atmosphere for a working environment. read more

Minuti has become my go to for coffee ever since I had my first drink. Starbucks has nothing on this place, the coffee is smoother and they use Monin syrups instead of Torani. Some of my favorite drinks are the shakerato series (iced coffee) from Vanilla, Caramel. It is less sweet, but doesn't compromise on the strength and bold flavor of the espresso shot(s). The Ice-o are the perfect SWEET pick me up, comparable to McDonalds mocha frappe. The Mocha one is my top fave, being a chocoholic. And the white chocolate and caramel are really good too! I doubt you can go wrong ordered any flavor. The warm coffees are good too, such as the caramel machiatto, vanilla latte, but the warm mocha wasn't my cup of tea. Cafe wise~ it doesn't seem to get too busy inside, but you won't find many outlets, so come prepared with an extension cord. Baked goods: the cookie is pretty good warmed, not like your average cookie. Its big ($2.45) , thick (.5-1 inch) and the crispy kind. Their pistachio muffin is pretty delicious. PROS: Drive thru! We are big Minuti fans and have been regulars at the Katy location for years. Given that, we popped into the Eldridge location last night since we now live in the area and ordered our normal iced lattes. Unfortunately, the lady brought us hot instead. When we politely pointed that out, she insisted that we ordered hot. We weren't looking for a dispute so agreed to drink them as is. Both were good, just not what we ordered and she was not apologetic or friendly which we've always experienced at the Katy location. I'm addicted to the dirty chai. My first time having Minuti coffee (I work very close) and decided to come in for their coffee. Bought a caffe latte with almond milk and sugar free caramel syrup- tastes great! They use Monin syrups and you CAN choose your milk! The morning staff was very friendly to my half asleep self. I'm also the least picky person when it comes to specialty espresso drinks and I know my order was a little wonky. The barista making my drink was a bit confused regarding my order. She could just be new to being a barista but I just told them to do their thing. I was in no rush and my latte came out good anyways! A great alternative to Starbs if that's your usual jam (it's my preference tbh). But I think Minuti might start taking my $$ from now on! Side note- pastries LOOK delish.
