The barbers here are pretty good, and I've been going here for a while, however, the main issue I have is with the space - the bathroom can get really disgusting, the hair on the floor doesn't get picked up for a long time, and the space can be cluttered. The shop sometimes looks like they're in the middle of cleaning and stuff is just left out in the open on tables. But for the most part it's business as usual. The music can get to be a little much, but that's pretty expected at a shop. It's still a pretty good shop, I just wish they'd do a better job of upkeep - it makes a difference walking into a space that is clean and looks clean. read more

Found a barber online that was open late and he did a great job! Unfortunately the standard of the establishment was beyond disappointing! I needed to use the restroom and it looked as if it had not been cleaned in months which then caused me to observe more about the place during the remainder of my visit. The floors were filthy to say the least. I almost wished I did not notice these things because my haircut was amazing , the barber was very nice and welcoming not to mention took extra attention into making sure it came out exactly how I wanted it. I booked with Dice through his IG page @DiceTheBarber. The appointment process was super simple and even has an app that can be downloaded. (Available for Android and iOS) The entrance is a little confusion if you end up parking on the street. I will not the this build as its OWN PARKING right next to the building in the back. If you park in the buildings parking lot the entrance will be apparent to you which shares the building with a Chipotle. His suit is on the second floor by the stairs. If you need to use an elevator that's located on the front and you will need to contact Dice directly to get the code for that elevator. Once you get to the top there's a receptionist and MANNNY suites. You will feel like you are in the wrong place but you are in the right place. The number of the suits are on top of each door just follow the numbers until you find #28 for Dice! Immediately when I walked in the space was modern, clean and ready to go for the appointment. There's a TV for entertainment and he offers bottle water to his customers. The haircut overall was on point and I don't have a single negative comment about it. I typically have my lineup pushed back or not even close to even and he nailed it even with a 4-month UNTRAINED HAIR grow out period. The experience was dope which included a hot towel for 10 minutes, essential oil therapeutic steam treatment humidifier, and straight razor for the lineup. He brings out the mirror to make sure you are satisfied and if you have other concerns that you want him to addresses for the haircut he addresses them on the spot and hands you back the mirror for satisfaction. After the last 4 months that I have gone through with being in the hospital and dealing with health issues it was therapeutic and relief to leave his chair relaxed, fresh and looking and overall I felt better than when I came in! read more

One of the most professional barbershops I've been to. Dom and Dice hands down some of the best barbers in the West Coast. Don't let them fool you when you're getting a fresh fade the jokes don't stop. They bring the East Coast vibes. Sometimes I'll just go here for the jokes and end up with a haircut and beard line up. It's like a comedy shop in here. I recommend making an appointment although they do take walk ins. If you want a haircut that'll change your life come here. They also offer a wide variety of other service. They'll steam you up before so you aren't left with dry skin when getting lined up. read more

I asked for a midfade and ended up getting an undercut on both sides leaving me no way to style my hair . He added coloring to both sides of my head and one is side is darker than the other .I have a wedding in two weeks to attend and I'm absolutely embarrassed to go. I've been wearing my hair very short for about 12 years. It is very hard to find a good Barber who can cut a woman's hair at a 1 to 2 without making her cut look masculine. So with my recent move to Hollywood I was extremely nervous about trying a new barber. Let me tell you, Dice was very accommodating and professional. May not be the best place if you have straight Asian hair. The barber didn't even bother to consider where I do my side part. He was sweating trying to style my hair after he was done. He realized he cut my side part too high. He then tells me he's sure I can fix it with my own products when I get home. I will have to wait for my hair to grow out to fix my side part. Best barber on the west coast... Unless he's home visiting the east coast. Then he's the best on the east. Dice sets the standard for what every barber should be. Barbering is a craft that takes time and passion to truly master. Dice has mastered his craft and still seeks to improve and perfect the art of barbering. I see a comment below complaining that Dice cut a natural hairline... This person most likely needs to face the fact that his hairline probably wasn't on his team anymore. How you gonna be mad at Dice for bringin' it back on to the court to help you sink a few shots? Another "issue" was that Dice didn't break a large bill one time... That shouldn't be held against a top tier barber with clients who understand that mastery deserves a visit from Ben Franklin. Take in to consideration, you're getting the best cut available, a private setting, drink options, and the ability to watch cable networks on an HD screen. If this is a hard concept to grasp, Supercuts has plenty of coins and singles in their tip jar to help you break that "large bill" (which was probably a $20) and I bet they won't mind letting your hairline stay lookin' like a half eaten sandwich... Don't go to the Gucci store and ask for Old Navy. read more

Make sure to ask him not to cut into your natural hairline if you don't want that, because he'll do it without asking. Make sure to bring small bills if you're tipping in cash, because he'll say he doesn't have change after taking your large bill.
