Great subs and quesadillas (especially the BBQ chicken). Very quick service for takeout and good lunch options.

Food- 4/5 Overall experience- 5/5…read more It was a fun spot to stop at to break up our drive back to Boston. The lot was small but many people were coming in and out so we didn't have to wait long to get a parking spot or outdoor seating. There are two shops: the deli and market with different vibes and items inside. The market is a quick shop with some snacks, drinks, coffee, and knickknacks. The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Pass on the general tso(?) and the potstickers in my opinion unless you're really craving it. The desserts looked amazing and would definitely get one next time

We were able to get a spot in front with no issue, but I imagine that this was because it was a week day. We chose the Mac and cheese and the maple pulled pork. Both were worth the hype in my opinion. The mac and cheese was super creamy and paired well with the tender pulled pork. The baked goods were nothing to write home about. Maybe we just chose the wrong items? We tried: Oatmeal cookie - good, but not amazing. Chocolate chunk/ peanut butter cookie - stale as heck and basically inedible. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. This was a nice little reprieve from the car ride.

Granville Country Store - Doesn't look like much, but a very good cold cut sub. Better than a lot of other sandwich shops around.

You can get a breakfast sandwich at any time as well as a cheeseburger for lunch. Not really a general store, but a nice place to visit, and they still sell their cheddar cheese. It has a really cool, rustic vibe. The big take home here is their cheese. They have a specific cheese that they sell (Granville cheddar) and it is A1. I got the cold cut sub, and it was actually very good. I'm a harsh critic when it comes to sandwiches, but this was well done. The meats were all good, the oil/vinegar combo was spot on, and the toppings were done just right. It felt clean, flavorful, and was filling. I would say the biggest detractor was the space and the wait. The staff works very hard, but they appear short handed to handle a lunch rush (if you call 2pm a lunch rush). The waiting space is also tight and the layout makes it hard to navigate the store without bumping into people and things. However, the staff does remain friendly and helpful given the circumstances! I would recommend this place for their cheese and sandwiches!

Delightfully impressed, great bites and great people…read more I do enjoy finding the small shops with passionate people. Making true to their roots dishes in their own way, for money but also for passion and tradition. The owner/operation is a second generation sausage maker. Does everything fresh and in house, but also imports some pastas and oils from Italy as well. Everything he talks about is done so with passion, and it makes you want to buy stuff from him. So much so, we opted to try a sausage as an appetizer while waiting for our sandwiches. The sausage was delicious. Slightly sweet but very meaty and a little salty. An umami bomb and a snappy casing. The sauce was seasoned well but was a little watery. Probably needed to be simmered a bit longer, the the chunky ragu was not acidic and savory but complimentary to the sausage. The mama's meatball was also top notch. The meatball was a chunky consistency but combined enough to hold its shape and very meaty. The sauce was still thin l, but the flavor of sauce was the right amount of umami and sweet to amplify the meat. Even the bread was the perfect mix of pillowy inside but a crispy outside without being tough. The only negative I have was there was too much fresh mozzarella globbed on top. The cheese was great as well, but there was too much on the sandwich and overpowered the meat. Easy enough to fix though. The missus got a panini, and she very much enjoyed her sandwich. And we got a cannoli, but it was actually kind of bland. Mostly got sugar and ricotta, not so much chocolate or a fresh shell. Despite the issues, everything else was so good that it's easy to ignore the negatives. The price is fair, the quality is awesome, and the food is tasty. This is a great place to trek to, and worth it to try.

Prosciutto sandwich was unique with ricotta and honey, very enjoyable. The classic Italian was the winner for me! Excellent combo of meats and toppings on fresh bread. Quality local deli! Staff was also very friendly. It was so cold that day that the mailman was defrosting for a few minutes before continuing his route and the staff was trying to help him warm up! Very kind people. Will definitely return!
