The tailored, bespoked tour was created in conjunction with my sister, who had done her research on the region, but Sean recommended sites and places that we could have never found on our own. We were pretty adamant about having close encounters with llamas and alpacas, which we were told would be strolling along the streets of Cuzco- umm, not true. Thankfully, his team knew just where we could feed them up close and personal and learn more about them. Julio, our guide for the 3 days was knowledgeable, friendly and so very conscientious- at certain parts of the tour, we were traveling alone, and he'd give us super clear instructions as well as call and check in on us several times, especially knowing that we couldn't speak any Spanish. Julio, being a local from the region also knew all the little ins and outs of the places we explored, including best spots for photography. Americo, our driver for the tour did not speak English, but you wouldn't have even known that. He was so friendly, warm and again, concientious. And can we chat about his dressing? So chic and dapper! My sis and I wish he was our warm and friendly uncle we could visit in the highlands...! For a bespoked, tailored tour package, Adventures to Peru was very affordable, professional and a great value. Sean was very diligent in responding to all our queries (silly or otherwise) in a timely and respectful manner. He even met up with us the day prior to our tour to hand us tickets and go through instructions again. And his team was truly top notch. I highly recommend traveling through Peru with Adventures to Peru for the best, most detailed, interesting experience.

We had an amazing adventure starting in Lima, heading to Cuzco, exploring the Sacred Valley, a train ride to Aquas Calientes, a day at Machu Picchu, time to Explore and hike, a river raft excursion that had us laughing for two hours straight. The hotels were clean, the staff was friendly. Every guide we had was professional, courteous and on time. Every airport we visited had a smiling face to greet us holding a sign with our names on it. Trust me when you don't speak the language, it's a really nice luxury. I felt really well taken care of the entire trip. Sean even called our hotel room to touch base one evening about half way through. His insight is priceless on aspects like travel time, flight schedules, tipping guidelines, and altitude sickness possibilities. He ordered our trip so that we'd be at our best when we got to Machu Picchu. He built in down time just when we needed it. I'd never return to Peru without his insight, but I feel like a left a small piece of my heart there. Thank you so much Sean.

The children's section is particularly impressive, featuring a massive selection of reading materials and a dedicated playground area that keeps kids entertained. It is the perfect local spot for a productive afternoon or a fun family outing. The weekly programming is fantastic, especially the monthly Chinese story time. We recently attended a session led by Lily, who was wonderful with the children. She used a great mix of storytelling about caterpillars and fruit along with high-energy songs and movement. It was such a joy to watch my granddaughter get involved and follow along with all the actions. The facility is very well-designed for convenience, including the easy underground parking right beneath the building. Whether you are looking for a quiet place to read or an engaging activity for the grandkids, this library is a true gem in the Peninsula area. It's a wonderful community resource that we look forward to visiting every week.

Joseph took the time to explain all my insurance options and showed me several offers until we found the best one for my needs. He also offered homeowners insurance and a member card program. Even after I signed up, my previous insurance company came back with a lower offer. When I returned to Joseph and his manager, they continued to help me with the same kindness and professionalism. They truly cared about finding the best solution for me. Because of my positive experience, I recommended Joseph to a friend, and she ended up renewing her insurance with him as well. I highly recommend Joseph Soliman to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable, and outstanding customer service. Thank you, Joseph and your manager, for all your help!

I reserved and prepaid $977.28 through the AAA Travel website for a Premium Two King Beds room. My confirmation clearly states that I purchased a Premium Two King Beds room. Before traveling, I also called the hotel directly to verify my reservation, and I was assured everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room type was no longer available. Instead of the two king beds I had reserved and paid for, I was given a room with only one king bed and a rollaway bed. I was traveling with my elderly mother and my adult daughter. Because the rollaway bed was not suitable for my daughter, my mother had to sleep on the rollaway bed for our three-night stay. This was not the room I purchased, and it significantly affected our comfort during our trip. I immediately asked whether another room was available or whether the hotel could provide a discount or other accommodation. I was told the hotel was sold out and that nothing could be done. The staff was not empathetic and repeatedly stated that because I had booked through a third party, there was nothing they could do. After returning home, I contacted the hotel again. During that conversation, I was told that I had been "bumped" because I booked through a third party and that had I booked directly through the hotel, they would have honored my reservation. I find this unacceptable. My reservation was confirmed, paid in full, and verified directly with the hotel before my arrival. Guests should not receive inferior accommodations simply because they booked through an authorized travel partner such as AAA. I respectfully request: * A partial refund for failing to provide the room category I paid for. * A written explanation as to why my confirmed reservation was not honored. * An explanation of the hotel's policy regarding confirmed reservations made through AAA and other authorized travel agencies. I have already opened a case with AAA Travel and hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly.
