The Treasure Chest Thrift and Conaignment Shop is probably one of the best in SW Florida! Their stuff is high end with reasonable prices. Very clean, almost sparkling! We love this place! So much cool, interesting stuff, usually great prices and staff is always helpful! Its about an hours drive from our home, but well worth the trip. We stopped in mid December and found a few choice items to add to our Christmas decor ( just what i was looking for!) and a couple of non holiday items as well. What an awesome experience. My wife and I stopped into the Treasure Chest to continue furnishing our new Florida home. The shop was neat, organized and well displayed. The merchandise was clean and well-priced. My suggestion, before you buy new, take advantage of the unbelievable values and professional staff of this store. Just a note of caution though, if you're expecting a thrift store when you walk in, Treasure Chest is not the store for you. But we bought a piece that would price out new for $750 to $900 in any furniture store. We purchase it for $160. Thank you, Becca for the effort and care you and your team put into your shop. Wow! What a unprofessional experience I had with the Owner (Becca) at Treasure Chest. She's never been very friendly. But I took some bar stools to seell. They sold them and I never received the check. I tried to collect my money. She wanted me to pay stop payments. I have usps daily notification. It never came to my address. It had already been 6 weeks. She kept trying to explain but kept saying different dates etc. I walked out. It's obvious she must need the money I told her to keep it. I will never go into that store again and I will tell all my friends that live with in PGI not too. Should have taken the clues on previous dealings with her. By the way we are talking about $60 dollars. Pretty rediculous. read more

Love love love this place. The only thing I would recommend that is if you were going to go there, don't be in a hurry. Do you really want to take your time and go down every aisle not once maybe twice. I don't be afraid to ask questions. I saw a lamp that was tucked up way high. I wasn't sure what the price would be when she told me I was so happy and then she said there's an additional 10% off. That made me smile bigger. It is a really fun creative store. You can tell the people that work there and then I wanna love what they're doing. And that shows through the display and service!!!! read more

I was here with my husband back in February, and This place is ridiculously over priced, and for the littlest cheapest USED things.. I mean don't get me wrong it's a nice place it's just way over priced... I saw a knock off purse for almost $100 and knock offs do not cost no where near that much... Perfect example of price gouging.. The owner was there when we were there and she was rude when we asked if she could come down on some art work I could've gotten at goodwill for $10... Wow! I loved this store! I am so glad Punta Gorda is getting some upscale shops that don't break the bank. Great service, I mentioned an item I was looking for, and the sales person took my name and number and even called me back to let me know one had come in. I love bargains!!!! I can't believe that I found a chaise lounge for under $200.00 in brand new condition. I have looked everywhere. It is even a smaller version so I can use it in my bedroom. I like to go in there often so that I don't miss anything. One time you see it the next time you go in and it is gone!!! Their stuff changes so often.
