Was able to find parking (went on a monday). Was meeting a friend, that's where he wanted to go. Was told this was a dive bar, but it looked nice for one. Lost of seating areas. The vibe was fun, and the staff was great and engaging. I would definitely go back if it wasn't so far.

Pretty basic dive bar in Downtown Roseville. Drinks are good. Drinks are priced reasonably. The bartenders are nice. Super local-dive bar vibes.

The room is small but surprisingly fit two large groups and a few couples. There's a bar plus a few tables and couches. The bartenders are very focused and work hard at their craft. Each cocktail is carefully made to perfection. The list of drinks ranges from light fruity to spirit-forward depending on your taste. We enjoyed: - pomegranate martini: light and fruity, good pomegranate flavor - yuzu lime drop: seasonal for summer only! - the First Lady: strong but smooth; came with a nicely cut ice cube - whiskey sour: classic flavor, executed well The drinks were great but I really wish there was some sort of snack to munch on. Even peanuts or mixed nuts would have been welcome. Adding a small food menu of bar snacks would make me stay longer!

The whole idea of Tap Houses really does appeal to me…read more I love being able to just grab a glass and seeing all the beers on the wall and picking what I want and how much I want. The people who run Waymaker Brewing in Roseville are doing this at the highest level. I've been to this location a few times for different events and every time a wonderful time was had. So as far as the beers go they have around 40 different beers on tap and also they have 10 wines on tap as well. So exactly how it works is this- When you walk in you give them a credit/debit card-then they give you a wristband-next you grab a glass and go pick your beer or wine and you get charged by the ounce you actually pour rather than by the glass size. Then at the end of the visit, you turn in your wristbands and you get charged whatever it is you poured in total for the visit-I love the entire concept. It's a great way to be able to try many types of beer instead of just a few big beers. Now let's talk about the elephant in the room for Waymaker. The thing that makes this place unique is they have 6 golf simulators a person can rent depending on day and time anywhere from $35-$60 an hour and up to 6 people can play on the simulator at one time. On these simulators there are more than 200 virtual courses available. It's a crazy amount of fun for golfers of all skill levels There is also a hand roll sushi bar inside called Fire Fish where one can order sushi-hand rolls-flatbreads or various small plates. It really is an amazing place. They also have a massive big screen in the back that is furnished with comfortable couches and chairs in case one wants to just hangout and watch whatever live sporting event is happening that visit. Let's see my last few visits I've gone with my son and we played a round of golf at Pebble Beach on the simulator. I've gone to a birthday party for my boss and we had 2 simulators rented and we ate sushi rolls and flatbread while drinking a lot of beer. I've gone to do after work drinks with a friend while watching NBA playoff basketball. Visits to Waymaker can be so many things but I can say for sure every visit will be fun. So if you find yourself out in Roseville and want to try something a little different-head on out to Waymaker Brewing, it really is a great time. PS. Parking is a breeze as they share a big lot with lots of spaces with other businesses.

This was actually the first time I visited the entire downtown Roseville area, and I was pleasantly surprised there was a parking garage since all the parking spots in front of the establishment were occupied. After a few minutes mulling over what to get, I ended up getting the French Dip with duck fat fries. I also tried their Divinity Stout. Wow. The food - Amazing! Really enjoyed the French Dip - well sized portion and ended up having leftovers that I was able to enjoy a few hours later ha! The Stout (Divinity) - I need to go back and buy some bottles to go. You can imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this bar/gaming room with the funny German sounding name when I realized it was a glorified pinball arcade room that also served beer. This place is straight amazing-50+ of the greatest pinball machines are available to play. They do use the "game-card" system to pay for these games, which can make playing these games way too easy-games tend to cost about $1 a game in game credits to play, which is far more than I paid when I was an 8 year old kid but then again, that was 45 years ago. They have a pretty solid beer selection-beers tend to go for anywhere between $7-$8 a beer-not too bad in my opinion.Though they do offer a pretty unique item called "Das Boot" which is a pretty large boot that cost $40 and comes with a fill up at time of purchase and 20% off on future fill ups-though not sure what the original cost of a fill up is exactly. One massive upgrade I've learned in the pinball world is nowadays you can download an app by Stern Inc,the majority manufacturer of most of the popular pinball machines and you can register your pinball play and it will keep tabs of everywhere u play and all the scores u achieved on the various pinball machines-I really enjoyed this feature-I only wish they had this when I was in my prime of pinball play when I was a youth. This place doesn't have the best hours but I'm sure there is a reason for these hours-M-F the hours are 5p-10p and on weekends they open at 12p... In closing-If you ever find yourself in the Rocklin area and you get a yearning to try out your pinball machine skills-I couldn't recommend this spot any higher as they are a very unique spot offering a truly awesome experience-a trip down memory lane for some and a whole new world for the younger generation-You should get out there and have some fun. PS-I failed to mention this place is very family friendly-on my particular visit the place was flooded with kids from elementary to high school age honing their pinball machine skills and enjoying every minute of it.

The mac n' cheese bites I had last week were freshly prepared (from scratch), cooked to order, piping hot, and totally delicious--and also under $10. The beers and ciders on tap are all mostly from small, local makers and under $10/pint. They also have plenty of NA drink options. If you're a pinball person, I dare you to find a more accommodating spot for playing and vibing out. If you're not a pinball person, this is a great place to fall in love with the game.

The staff was very friendly and the one gentleman that helped me was so great about letting me try different beers so I could pick the one I wanted to order. When you get service like that; repeat, order, enjoy. I ordered a 2nd pint mostly because I was interested in trying some more of their beers. They had great lunch specials with some diverse options that included lighter and healthier options for a very reasonable price. I ordered the Angus beef sliders, and I asked for them to be cooked, medium rare if possible. If you know sliders, you know that they are difficult to do a medium rare, but this chef came through; my sliders were a very nice medium, rare, juicy and delicious! The caramelized onion was beautiful, just very yummy. Well, darn, it got a little busy 3:00 ish and here I am writing this fabulous review and I think he forgot to bring me my 2nd pint of beer? I reminded him and he brought it right away! I don't drink beer very often anymore, but it was just that kind of day, and a cold beer sounded good. I tend to like lighter bodied craft beers with a strong ABV, but not too fruity and limited dankness. I enjoyed a pint called Flying Fortress it was a single IPA and then another called, Present Tense, = Hazy Single IPA. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return.
