Absolutely terrible! The tables that were vacant, were filthy and trash was all over the place. The bartender could not make any of their specialty drinks, because they didn't have any of the ingredients. Their food menu was worse. My friend and I came here after meeting up with some of her friends at the Jo Koy show a few months ago. Much in need of refreshment, our thirst was quenched at this lively bar in the middle of Thunder Vally Casino. The bartender was working as fast as she could with a full house, and we eventually found some seats at the bar and enjoyed our cold, frosty pina colada (mine), Corona and margarita (my friend was extra thirsty!). The atmosphere at least on that one night was hopping, many people were there with friends or their significant other; I enjoyed the energy, especially coming off of the high of the great Jo Koy show. My pina colada was yummy and my friend liked her drinks, with the great service and socially friendly central design of the bar, I'm guessing I'll be back the next time I hit a show at Thunder Valley. read more

I REALLY REALLY REALLY love this bar! I can't believe there is an amazing bar right in the middle of the BEST casino (Thunder Valley you ROCK)! I enjoy coming to Thunder Valley but when a chick like me is totally not feeling the need to gamble all my money I know I can come to Mingle bar and just sit...have a couple of drinks and I would be A-OK! I came here for my first time in January 2015 for an event after party and I love that you can order food really like. (Last call is 12A.M.) Totally convenient! You can drink and eat then go back to the room and crash! SWEEETTTT! They have tons of drinks you can choose from and if you know of a drink you can be sure that they will make it to your perfection! Big stars for that! Drinks are cheap considering they are in a casino and no not dirt cheap..but they are cheap! Everyone is so nice and make you feel right at home. Tons of couches and chairs to lounge around in, perfect for little group, big group...you name it! I always seem to be greeted and entertained by Brian the Bartender and he is absolutely amazing! Thunder Valley Casino bartenders are top notch. I look for them when I go. To name a few Greg, Mike, Brian, Angelo, Robert, and Robert. Scotty and others always welcome me warmly. There are others whose names I cannot bring to mind right now but they are all good hosts. The early mornings Greg, Scotty, Angelo (Mark), Robert are usually on shift. Angelo (Mark), and Greg are on auto pilot knowing what to bring me right away. Scottie is warm and friendly. Bar Back Robert is attentive to all customers and works very hard. I beleive Thunder Valley has a total of four bars and Mingle tends to be my favorite. The layout is very open with plenty of seating at the bar and includes video gambling with such games as poker and blackjack. If you're sitting at the bar, you have a flat-panel every which way you turn airing various sporting games. If you opt out of sitting at the bar, there's plenty of 'lounge' seating surrounding the bar, perfect for groups and such. Prices are incredibly reasonable with a Crown and Coke being only $5.50 for example. However, the bar does not have any beers on draft, but they do stock a large selection of domestics and imports. The best bar at Thunder Valley in my oppinion. I'm not much of a gambler, so once I played my set amount, I hanged out at the Mingle Bar. It has plenty of seating around the square, large televisions spread around the area and a nice atmosphere. I didn't do any mingling, but rather enjoyed my alone time. Honestly, I enjoyed my time drinking and smoking more than gambling. The bartender by the name of Darrick was quick to serve me my drink of choice, and he seemed knowledgeable of certain mixed drinks requested by the other patrons. They don't have my favorite alcohol drink, which is Samuel Adams, but it's probably not asked for enough to require selling. Regardless, $4 for a beer is pretty good compared to other casinos. If I were to come here with a larger group next time, I'd probably go here for a few drinks first. Then, once I would play for a bit, I would return again and stay until everyone else was finished with their gambling. read more

I sat on this review for a while and debated. I've decided that they really do deserve these five stars. Why? Service. Service here is excellent. The bartenders are attentive, pretty friendly and knowledgable. They worked the entire bar while I was there, taking care to cater to every guest, not just the ones who looked like their wallets were fatter. Selection. Decent selection of wines, beers and spirits. I was able to get a nice glass of Moscato and also Champagne from the bar. Atmosphere. It's a casino, and this is an open bar on the floor of the casino, so there's cigarette smoke and ash trays everywhere. No star deductions because this is just a fact of life in most casinos. I will say, the staff was quick to empty out ashtrays, making it bearable. There are long standing bars, couches, round seating areas and also a bunch of chairs that you can slide around as needed. Much mingling was done inside the Mingle Bar. Affordability. You can actually afford drinks here! Sure, they aren't BevMo, and you're leaving a tip, but from what I heard talking to other Yelpers, Mingle offers the most affordable drinks in the casino, besides the roaming cocktail waitresses. Had an awesome time here! This bar is located inside the heart of the Thunder Valley Casino. It is a walkup, open faced bar and pretty eye catching. The staff was nice, drinks were great and decently priced, I definitely have some memories to hold from here. I'm surprised that Mingle was such a success but I have to hand it to them, they went above and beyond to make a bar in the middle of a casino memorable and that is awesome. We came to this bar, inside Thunder Valley Casino, to ... mingle. Yep, it works. Imagine that. I think people come here to mingle, just like we did. This is an open full around bar with seating area at the bar and around the peripheral - banquette couch style soft seating. We found a spot and had a seat. I hit the bar to order a couple drinks. When I got back, there were people with us to chat - a couple from Ireland and a couple younger guys probably on the prowl. We had a great time chatting it up, laughing. People were in good moods; no attitudes. Good thing it wasn't named "sit-in-a-corner-by-yourself bar." Service was great. Drinks were great and reasonably priced. I could do without the smoking; whatever, not a big deal. We'll be back and look forward to meeting some more cool people that like to mingle and talk. read more

The hubs LOVES Mingle Bar! We typically come here after the buffet or just to meet friends because this bar has an open concept, loungey feel. Large booths perfect for a big group of friends, super casual, and good music: whether it be from a dj or a live band. The best part is the fact the Hubs can smoke his cigars with friends indoors where you can get beer, cocktails, and appetizer/snacky items. For NYE Mingle Bar held an event that the hubs really wanted to go to. Since last year we did something I wanted to do, I let him choose this NYE activities. Mingle Bar had a $30 cover for NYE. What did it include?? A BUFFET! Totally worth it!! Tickets to get in were at a first come first serve basis. The event started at 6pm, but we got there at 8:30 PM and there was still a lot of booths open. Glad we snagged one quick because after we came in there was a rush to get good booths. The buffet had a cheese plate, pork tenderloin, crab cakes topped with roast beef, salad, sushi, shrimp cocktail, etc. Our friends ate their weight in shrimp! I'm pretty sure they all made their money back. AND there was a dessert table!!! Chocolate covered strawberries, fudge, and different kinds of cakes. Alcoholic Drinks were extra, but they also offered lemonade and ice tea for free. After 11pm, Mingle Bar was open to the public. But lets face it, if you didn't pay the cover you didn't get good seats or even a space to stand awkwardly. The live band was also on point! The ladies singing that night had some pipes on them. Even though Mingle is more of a lounge, that didn't stop anyone of us from dancing! Glad we rang in the new year with good friends at a good venue. read more

Last two times i visited the service was horrible. 6/01, tried to order appetizers with our drinks at the bar. The bartender referred us to a server and then both basically ignored us. Told by the bartender, they were changing shifts. Whatever. We finally decided against the food because we were not confident it would ever arrive. It was Saturday night. I've been to Thunder Valley about 4 times now and I always seen to make my way to this bar. It is pretty and reasonable price considering you are at a casino. I always enjoy the seating since they offer comfortable couches while you enjoy a nice drink. The seating at the bar is also a very nice option, you can play a little card game while watching a game on the many televisions they have. The bartenders are always very friendly. If you are in the casino I would recommend trying this bar out it has a beautiful atmosphere, comfy seating and good drinks! read more
