I'm going to start by saying that was one of the best cooked lobster tails i have ever had. 100000/10!!! The food was very good and fresh. I really liked that the sauce was a dipping situation... I'm used to the bagged boils so I was confused at first on what this was... but it was much less of a mess and i could control how much sauce i had on each bite. That was great. The catfish didn't taste like catfish but it was okay. Now... the whole place smelled like fabuloso... and that's cool to know the place is being cleaned... but it's suppose to smell like a restaurant in there... not a cleaning factory. The toilets are very old and rusted. That needs some help. The waitress was nice... very nice... but never came to check on us... we had our food for almost 10 mins with no plates, utensils, or napkins. One of the waiters, he was in the side room smoking a vape... it was a little weird... but hey... the food was good.

I had such a great experience here. My brother and my husband, and my brother's girlfriend all came for a really nice dinner. We all got boil, and they were delicious. The potatoes, the corn, the sausage, the shrimp, the crab legs, and the lobster... taste is on point. Waitress, she was very informative and sweet. She definitely made our experience that much better. They weren't stingy with their sauces or extra gloves or, everything was just wonderful. The restaurant itself was clean, the bathrooms are clean, and they're waiting to get their liquor license so that they can start serving alcoholic beverages. I'm sure that'll be a great hit once they are able to obtain that. Craving some seafood, head to the twisted crab!

3 of us decided to eat at Twisted Crab based on location and reviews. We were a bit disappointed as the 3 hostesses standing at the entrance were not friendly and welcoming and seemed miserable and upset that they were even there to work. It threw us off. However, when we got to our table, surprisingly, our server was nice and friendly but nowhere to be found. She checked on us once the entire time until our meal was over, and had to ask the miserable hostess again that we were ready to check out after 20 minutes of waiting. The positive is we enjoyed the seafood boil -- we ordered the family special for $119. It was plentiful, flavorful, tasty, and a tad salty, but you can adjust how much sauce to pour. The food was lukewarm when it arrived at our table; it should've been hot if it had been freshly cooked. Overall, the service could have been more welcoming, which dampened the overall experience. There are other seafood boil restaurants all over Chesapeake, so I'd skip this one next time.

I had a fun time at The Twisted Crab in Portsmouth! We ordered a Halloween themed drink which was tasty. I loved the Crown Apple and gold shimmer in it! We sat at the bar and the two bartenders were friendly. They gave good food recommendations too. I ordered the snow crab legs. They were so tasty and I appreciated the extra butter it came with. The Cajun seasoning was amazing! Place is clean and organized. Parking is ample. It was a nice time!

They don't disappoint. The only thing I wish I could improve is the ability to cater to people with celiacs disease. Otherwise, perfect.

Our waitress was bartending and waiting on multiple tables but her service to us never wavered. She was amazing Drinks: Refreshing and delicious. I got the lychee martini which was made perfectly. You can taste the vodka without it being too overpowering. Food: We got the happy hour appetizer lamb chops which were tender and yummy. For entrees I got the lobster ravioli and my husband got the sea bass. The lobster ravioli was good and they give you a lot of food. My only complaint was that the sauce overpowered the flavor of the lobster. Perhaps if they give less sauce then it would be better. My husband really enjoyed his sea bass and had no complaints. I went on my birthday so they gave us a free dessert. The tiramisu was light and not too sweet. The portion for the tiramisu was also huge so we got to take it home Overall I would love to go back again and try more of their happy hour or lady's night!

This was our first visit, but based on the hospitality we experienced this evening, it certainly won't be our last. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the entire evening was exceptional. Tonight's entertainment featured jazz vocalist Clarissa, whose beautiful voice immediately set the tone for the evening. While accompanying herself on the keyboard, she effortlessly managed her soundboard between songs, a small detail that reflected her professionalism and attention to detail. She was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed her performance. While waiting for our friends to arrive, we grabbed a couple of seats at the bar. My wife ordered an Old Fashioned, prepared properly in a mixing glass before being poured over a single large cube of ice. It's always nice to see a classic cocktail treated with the respect it deserves. If you time your visit right, Admiral's also offers some excellent Happy Hour specials. Unfortunately, Happy Hour had just ended at 7:00 p.m., but we'll certainly keep that in mind for our next visit. Once our guests arrived, we were promptly escorted to our table near the stage where Clarissa was performing. The seats couldn't have been better. Considering the quality of the entertainment, I was genuinely surprised the restaurant wasn't filled with more patrons who appreciate great live music. Despite being located inside a busy casino, the dining room never felt rushed or chaotic. Service was relaxed, conversation was effortless, and Clarissa's music filled the room without ever overpowering it. It created an atmosphere that encouraged you to slow down and simply enjoy the evening. We began by sharing an order of the Savory Lollipop Lamb Chops, grilled to a perfect medium-rare and served with a creamy whole-grain mustard sauce. Everything about the dish worked beautifully together. In fact, one order wasn't enough, so we immediately ordered a second. We happily finished every bite. We also shared the Fantail Shrimp, featuring crispy shrimp served with Admiral's seafood sauce and traditional cocktail sauce. Another excellent appetizer. For dinner, several of us chose the Stuffed Maine Lobster Tail, served with blue crab meat, grilled asparagus, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and béarnaise sauce. Oh my goodness... this was spectacular. Words fail me. I ordered the USDA Prime New York Strip, accompanied by a Loaded Baked Potato. Both arrived piping hot, perfectly prepared, and absolutely delicious. The steak had an excellent crust while remaining tender and flavorful throughout. As our meal came to an end, our wonderful server, Nikki, asked if we'd like to see the dessert menu. I sincerely hope she was joking, because after everything we'd eaten, there simply wasn't any room left. Next time, we'll have to save room. If you find yourself visiting Rivers Casino, make time for Admiral's Steak & Seafood. Excellent food, attentive service, outstanding live music, and a relaxing atmosphere combined to make this one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we've had in quite some time.

The restaurant was fairly empty, with only three other tables occupied, so we were surprised by the length of the wait. Our two canned Sapporos didn't arrive until about 30 minutes after ordering. The shrimp sandwich took approximately 45 minutes, and the Vang rolls arrived after about an hour. After waiting an hour, we were informed that the garlic shrimp for our garlic noodles was unavailable, despite it being part of our original order. Unfortunately, the Vang rolls were so salty that we couldn't finish them. Throughout the meal, our water glasses were never refilled, and there was little communication about the delays or unavailable menu items. After roughly 90 minutes of waiting, multiple delays, and learning that several items were unavailable, we decided to pay for what we had received the two Sapporos, the shrimp sandwich, and the Vang rolls, which came to about $70. Perhaps we visited on an off night, but the combination of the slow service, poor communication, unavailable menu items, and disappointing food quality made for a frustrating experience. The place inside is very cute and reminds me of a nice punk pop bar. The bar wraps around and there's some tables and a side table that we sat at to eat. I ordered one of their specialty coffees and it is quite the journey but I enjoyed it with the ginger beer and the coffee. My quiche was fluffy and delicious. It jiggled when I tapped it and the side salad tasted great with dill in it and it brightened up things. The combination of both was great. The crust on the quiche was nice as well. My spouse enjoyed their sandwich but didn't realize there was mustard so he ended up just using the chips to eat his egg and sausage. His egg was also fluffy. The patrons that came seemed friendly and you can tell who are locals since they greeted by name often. I love that this place is open. They also have local wine you can purchase. Next time we're back in town, we will visit again.

There were tons of appetizers to snack on throughout the night. Hummus and pita, charcuterie, chips with salsa and queso, all the good, crowd pleasing stuff done well. Everything was fresh and easy to grab, which worked perfectly for a party setting. The best part by far was the taco bar. I had the beef tacos and they were seriously some of the best tacos I've had in a while. The beef was super flavorful and cooked perfectly, and I definitely went back for more than one. You know it's good when everyone keeps circling back for seconds. Even though I was there for a private event, I really liked the vibe of the place. It feels like somewhere you could easily pop in with friends, grab a drink, and hang out without it feeling stuffy or rushed. I only had wine, so I haven't tried their cocktails yet, but that's definitely next on my list. If the food is any indication, I'm sure the drinks won't disappoint. This is a great spot for events, but also seems like a solid go-to for a laid-back night out. I'll definitely be back!

There's now a security table/desk where the DJ booth used to be; definitely wasted space where more tables and chairs could've been added instead. Had to stand for about 10 mins before some people finally left then we had to like "hurry" to get the seats before anyone else got them. We needed an extra chair at our table and went up to the security to ask if he knew where anymore could be or if we could borrow the one that was behind his table since he seemed to only be standing all night, but he responded kind of harsh with a stern "NO"....def unnecessary. Even though he was rude, the bartenders were the opposite, making funny light conversation and friendly while we ordered and waited for our drinks. The atmosphere was a nice, chill, and intimate vibe, with red/orange lighting. To drink: I tried the Saturn (8/10) it was pretty good, I liked the flavor, but there really didn't seem to be much alcohol in it fr. To eat: we ordered a Margherita Pizza and added Pepperoni (10/10) it was fresh, flavorful, and all around really good. There were hints of spice in the sauce that really added to the flavors. Their pizza seems to be a popular menu item as I seen pizza boxes on almost every table throughout the night. Def will be back again, but next time, we're going to get there early, so we can have a table for the night. We went out for acid fish which was a pop mediterranean raw fish experience, and they delivered all the way through with the combination of fish as well as the flavor profile of each and how the presentation is. You just immediately are very pleased with everything I would recommend trying them out when they come through again and they do pop in quite frequently at this lounge and this was my first time ever trying them out and I'm very pleased of the service as well as the introduction of each component of the dish, the cooks were very friendly, as well as given us guidance of what choices to choose from based off of the menu. The menu does change each time they do come so items that you will see will vary, depending on what they are putting on for the menu. We try their Sicilian sashimi that was definitely a 10 out of 10 and good for people that want to kind of share rather than have a full plate is definitely well proportion as well as light and not too heavily in on the pallet. The vibes vary from day to day depending on what time you get there it can get really packed so the earlier the better if you want more of a calm night I would suggest getting there early rather later cause that is usually when the dj that are going on that night come in that's usually there peak time. The drinks are well crafted I tried their cocktail called Saturn it had a sweet taste and was more of tropical with the passion fruit perfect pairing with the raw fish dish we tried tonight. If you're looking for a spot that has more of chill vibe and has good music with different styles and beats each day this is the place for you.

Bartender was incredibly attentive for having a full bar. We each had 2 different cocktails and both were distinctive and excellently crafted. We had shared a couple of the small plates and enjoyed them both. We enjoyed the place so much that we decided to come back with a group of 14 for All Lovers Eve. Second time: Made the reservation with ease. If you've ever made a group reservation you know how complicated some places make it. This was a large group and they were short handed. This lead to a slower service which actually worked out well for our group. We didn't mind the gaps. They put us in their back room (hint - GREAT for groups) there was a little confusion with the order to include an extra dish we didn't order. We still ate it and paid for it though. The staff was great with our large and rather disruptive group. The food was all excellent (local oysters on the half shell and the apple desert were my highlights). Multiple cocktails that were all wonderful. My only real negative was that there was a $50 "loyalty club " charge that was never mentioned and I didn't even notice on the $1200.00 bill. This is, I believe, some sort of credit card fee. Both times were good. Both times staff were wonderful. Both times we were comfortable. Give the place a try. I don't think you will regret it.
