It's very modern yet with a classic vibe. Sorta steam punk esque if you will. I had several classes of Jameson (my favorite) and my friend tried the Violette and the Mr. Pink (play on a Negroni) which were both very good. We also shared some Old Bay French fries which were very yummy. The service was great! The bartender was very knowledgeable about the drinks and was even able to offer substitutions for ingredients in the drinks. Tonight's entertainment featured jazz vocalist Clarissa, whose beautiful voice immediately set the tone for the evening. While accompanying herself on the keyboard, she effortlessly managed her soundboard between songs, a small detail that reflected her professionalism and attention to detail. She was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed her performance. While waiting for our friends to arrive, we grabbed a couple of seats at the bar. My wife ordered an Old Fashioned, prepared properly in a mixing glass before being poured over a single large cube of ice. It's always nice to see a classic cocktail treated with the respect it deserves. If you time your visit right, Admiral's also offers some excellent Happy Hour specials. Unfortunately, Happy Hour had just ended at 7:00 p.m., but we'll certainly keep that in mind for our next visit. Once our guests arrived, we were promptly escorted to our table near the stage where Clarissa was performing. The seats couldn't have been better. Considering the quality of the entertainment, I was genuinely surprised the restaurant wasn't filled with more patrons who appreciate great live music. Despite being located inside a busy casino, the dining room never felt rushed or chaotic. Service was relaxed, conversation was effortless, and Clarissa's music filled the room without ever overpowering it. It created an atmosphere that encouraged you to slow down and simply enjoy the evening. We began by sharing an order of the Savory Lollipop Lamb Chops, grilled to a perfect medium-rare and served with a creamy whole-grain mustard sauce. Everything about the dish worked beautifully together. In fact, one order wasn't enough, so we immediately ordered a second. We happily finished every bite. We also shared the Fantail Shrimp, featuring crispy shrimp served with Admiral's seafood sauce and traditional cocktail sauce. Another excellent appetizer. For dinner, several of us chose the Stuffed Maine Lobster Tail, served with blue crab meat, grilled asparagus, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and béarnaise sauce. Oh my goodness... this was spectacular. Words fail me. I ordered the USDA Prime New York Strip, accompanied by a Loaded Baked Potato. Both arrived piping hot, perfectly prepared, and absolutely delicious. The steak had an excellent crust while remaining tender and flavorful throughout. As our meal came to an end, our wonderful server, Nikki, asked if we'd like to see the dessert menu. I sincerely hope she was joking, because after everything we'd eaten, there simply wasn't any room left. Next time, we'll have to save room. After waiting an hour, we were informed that the garlic shrimp for our garlic noodles was unavailable, despite it being part of our original order. Unfortunately, the Vang rolls were so salty that we couldn't finish them. Throughout the meal, our water glasses were never refilled, and there was little communication about the delays or unavailable menu items. After roughly 90 minutes of waiting, multiple delays, and learning that several items were unavailable, we decided to pay for what we had received the two Sapporos, the shrimp sandwich, and the Vang rolls, which came to about $70. Perhaps we visited on an off night, but the combination of the slow service, poor communication, unavailable menu items, and disappointing food quality made for a frustrating experience. All the small plates (we got 3), plates licked clean. The asparagus? Perfection. Tuna tartare? Refreshing. Beef carpaccio? I don't usually like, but this I loved. My husband got the filet mignon and it was the best filet mignon we've ever tried. I got the seared scallops and it was soo good. I ordered one of their specialty coffees and it is quite the journey but I enjoyed it with the ginger beer and the coffee. My quiche was fluffy and delicious. It jiggled when I tapped it and the side salad tasted great with dill in it and it brightened up things. The combination of both was great. The crust on the quiche was nice as well. My spouse enjoyed their sandwich but didn't realize there was mustard so he ended up just using the chips to eat his egg and sausage. His egg was also fluffy. The patrons that came seemed friendly and you can tell who are locals since they greeted by name often. I love that this place is open. They also have local wine you can purchase. Second time: Made the reservation with ease. If you've ever made a group reservation you know how complicated some places make it. This was a large group and they were short handed. This lead to a slower service which actually worked out well for our group. We didn't mind the gaps. They put us in their back room (hint - GREAT for groups) there was a little confusion with the order to include an extra dish we didn't order. We still ate it and paid for it though. The staff was great with our large and rather disruptive group. The food was all excellent (local oysters on the half shell and the apple desert were my highlights). Multiple cocktails that were all wonderful. My only real negative was that there was a $50 "loyalty club " charge that was never mentioned and I didn't even notice on the $1200.00 bill. This is, I believe, some sort of credit card fee. Both times were good. Both times staff were wonderful. Both times we were comfortable. Give the place a try. I don't think you will regret it.

I ordered the crab cakes (great sauce and aioli), Brussels (hot honey with goat cheese and cranberries), junglebird drink (delicious, it wasn't overly sweet), and ribeye. All delicious. I was not disappointed. It was such a chill place. It wasn't overly loud. It was clean. I recommend.
