Eric is amazing! I was telling my daughter that he's such a likeable and friendly person, that I don't even mind giving him my money! I texted him my address on a Sunday, thinking he'd take contact me Monday/Tuesday; but he called me within the hour! Matter of fact, he even drove by my house, looked at the tree in question and called me WITH a quote, so we could talk about it right there! His crews just left - they took down a 50-60 foot palo verde tree in my front yard, it was gone in no time! They cleaned the yard nicely (my mom hired them). But horrible as a tree service. They chopped out the entire middle of the tree, and left long, hanging branches on the outside. It looks awfuland is in shock. I 'm not sure if it will survive. She won't use them again. read more

We have had many tree companies over the 25 years of living in this house, from horriblle to ok. Our last one disappeared so a friend recommended this company. We have a huge yard and lots of work needed. We live in Chandler and have about 20 trees on our 1/2 acre property. We do all of our own yard work but once a year we have Eric and his wonderful crew, come trim the palms and various trees. He is a little more costly than some of the independent companies but he has the only crew that is fast, super friendly and clean. They bring a cherry picker and chipper and don't leave marks on my palms or debris in the yard. In fact, my yard looks better than before they got there. The best part is, we bought our home in 2014 from a couple who built the house new in the 80's, raised their son here, and moved to travel in an RV after over 30 years. Eric knew them and when we moved in, he introduced himself and now we use him. Very professional, responsive and well worth the cost. Until you have Eric and his crew trim your trees, you've only been cheating yourself. read more

I have one tree that leans and they have helped me maintain it so it doesn't have to be cut down. They were prompt did a great job. When the job was completed they did a great job of cleaning up all the debris. They have also maintained all the trees at my church and have done a great job there as well. I highly recommend them. You show up in my neighborhood at 5:45am 8/15/17. Trucks clanging in the alley. You start up your wood chipper - Loud as HELL. Then you run branches through it and it gets unbearable...it is now 5:55am. I go outside to remind your workers that it is not even 6am yet and to give residents a break... Your workers do not care-- Ultimate Tree Services, do you care? I will never use your service because of this. Disrespect for people trying to sleep. Also, I noticed NONE of your workers, save for one that had a dust mask on, had PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment) No Fall Protection while up in the articualting lift, no Safety Glasses. What kind of an outfit are you running? You certainly dont care about the residents and their PEACE, and it looks like you couldnt give a dam n about your employees either.... read more

I would never do business with a company like this, in my opinion. They leave flyers in the doors and all over which blow around and make a huge mess. This method to obtain business negatively impacts the neighborhood. Also, even though soliciting is protected by the First Amendment under free speech for commercial purposes, the solicitor has restrictions based on his/her activities. It does not allow solicitors to trespass onto an individual's property that has clearly labeled signs that say "No Soliciting or No Trespassing". In this case, walking through an individual's garden or courtyards is considered trespassing. read more

Had several estimates from companies and decided on their service. The price was excellent and I was informed when they would be out to remove a mesquite(overgrown) in the front yard. Showed up on time, excellent professional work and complete cleanup of the property. Finished in an hour and provided me with some nice firewood to use in the future. I needed to have my olive tree trimmed up after a micro burst knocked two branches down. The tree is 50+ years old, healthy, and well established. Date of service: June 9, 2017 Date of return: July 18, 2017 When the crew arrived I told them it just need trimming and a clean up and that the tree shaded the front of the house. When I saw it after the "pruning," I almost cried (see photos). The tree was over pruned, had bad cuts (looks like they cut half way through and then broke the rest), they topped the tree, they ruined the structure of the tree, and they left only a few branches with green on them. Two weeks later, the green branches were dead. I asked the owner, Eric, to come out and tell me what to do about the branches. The first words out of his mouth were "this looks bad. It's not my fault." Before that, I wasn't assigning blame. I just need information. I assumed, wrongly, that he was a certified arborist and that his crew was knowledgeable. Now my tree has little chance of recovery and may have to be removed. The fact that the owner is not taking responsibility for the damage is troubling. I have since had two CERTIFIED arborists come out and tell me the same thing. That the tree crew pretty much killed my tree. We will be contacting the company again to replace the tree. I will amend this review when they have completed the replacement. Until then, I would try another service. read more
