Enjoyed it. First time I went they were out of vanilla so unfortunately I had to go elsewhere. I thought that was a pretty vital ingredient that a coffee shop should never run out of. Months later I've just given them a second chance. I'm glad I did. Staff was super friendly and courteous. Latte was great. Nice ambiance. I could definitely come here to relax. Never tried a drink here that I haven't liked, and I really love the comfortable atmosphere of the place. Actually, the style and decor is a lot like what I've envisioned for my own coffee shop that I'd like to open someday haha. I don't really have a whole lot to say except that this is a good place to relax and enjoy some tasty espresso beverages, something you don't get a lot of in Midwest City. Worst experience that I've had in a coffee shop. Staff was so rude talked about me and how I had ordered my friends coffee because I didn't know the name of the drink. And was loud about and the male worker said he didn't care if I over heard them. I will never return what a waste. read more

The Underground is the perfect meeting spot or place to just hang out. The drinks and food are reasonably priced and it's a comfortable place. They have a wide variety of drinks such as coffee, frappes, Italian soda, tea, and hot chocolate. My only complaint, is that I wish it was a bit bigger, but other than that I love it here. read more

I usually love this place because they have good coffee, lots of seating, and good WiFi; although, today was subpar. We needed a warm place with WiFi because our power was out due to an ice storm, many people had the same idea. There was off duty staff all over the dining area hanging out, one of them brought it baked goods to share with the other staff. The staff that were not there to work were very loud and disruptive and kept walking behind the counter with no mask on to make themselves drinks. One was sitting at the bar right in front of where they make drinks, with no mask and being very talkative to staff that was working. The staff that were working did not consistently wear masks and were sharing masks with each other. There was a sign on the door that said masks were required but we were the only people that kept our masks on. I really love this place, but I think I will pick somewhere more courteous to their customers safety and ability to concentrate in the future. read more

My wife is a teacher and we discovered them because of their amazing appreciation for teachers every day, though we do not take advantage of their kindness because they deserve every penny for their service. The staff are super friendly and the coffee is out of this world. I prefer the Carmelita personally, but we try different drinks every time we visit. During the quarantine they remained open, but safe, giving us the opportunity to still indulge. read more

I used to come here from time to time because its the only other coffee shop that is not Starbucks or Dunkin Dounts. I like to support local coffee shops especially in Midwest City, where I live. But this place has those coffee punch card things ya know if you buy like 15 coffees you get one free, well I filled one up and took it in to get my free mocha with almond milk ( the drink I've paid for 15 times before) so I give it to the lady and order my coffee and she tells me that I'm going to have to pay for the almond milk. How much? 30 cents. I gave her the thirty cents and I haven't been back since. Why even have the punchcards if you don't expect anyone to ever fill them up and then give them a hard time when they try to redeem it? And their was plenty of bad attitude to go along with the exchange. Nice reward for being a long time customer. read more

This is my fav coffee shop in the city. It's locally owned and always good. The quality coffee is great and they are adding new items often (most recently soup to go with the sandwiches). They have an incentive program (card that get's little coffee cups hole punched out...buy so many get one free). On Friday nights they have live Jazz and have other fun events (halloween...wear your costume get a discount). The atmosphere is comfortable (2 couches and several different types of chairs). They have a little seperate room which is great for having a group meet there. They also have free WiFi. Just ask them for the code! read more

Cool, hypster-ish coffee shop. I went there with a couple of friends who are local. Our lattes came out fast in nice coffee mugs and with cute foam art. Love this coffee shop. Everyone is friendly and always take the time to explain their specialty drinks. I have tried several based on their recommendations and always come away satisfied. But my favorite here is their own brewed Isbill Express coffee. It is by far my favorite brewed coffee of everything I've tried from dozens of coffee shops. The atmosphere is very laid back and quiet. There are typically a few students studying and one time I saw a local church shooting a promo video in the coffee shop. There is a variety of seating options including couches, club chairs, bar stools, and even a private room with both table and chairs and a club chair. Local artists display their works for sale on the walls. The displays are always changing as some sell and some are replaced by different artists. Overall, this is my favorite coffee place in the OKC metro area and I will continue to visit every time I pass nearby. read more

I honestly have been going here for about 7 years. You really just don't get any better than the UG. They have the best house coffee, the best frozen drinks and plus they make some mean soup and sandwiches. Everyone who works there loves working there and you can really tell. The atmosphere is great for hanging out with your friends or working alone on anything you need to do. You can even chat it up with the baristas, when they aren't making drinks of course :). I have loved Underground since I discovered it 2 1/2 years ago and never had a bad experience but today I was really disappointed. I grabbed a coffee at the location on Tinker in the clinic and the lady that helped me was very rude. I think she might have been stressed but she was not friendly. This threw me off because the staff at The Underground are always amazing! I proceeded to order a 24 oz vanilla latte, it had been a long, exhausting morning so I went larger than normal. The first sip was good but as I continue to drink it, it has become nothing but milk and sugar flavor. I actually looked to see if it was even coffee colored. I don't taste any espresso in this latte at all. The consistency in coffee has always been right on.. I'm hoping this was just a fluke thing. read more

Stopped through this place on my way back to the Southwest. The space is large and even had a reserved room for (it looked like) college students. I had a 16oz cappuccino with soy milk. It was delicious. So good, in fact, I ordered one to go as well. My cafe partner ordered the White Mocha and said it was delicious. read more
