Holy sheeeet, this spot is crazy good for breakfast in Helena! The breakfast burrito was so ridiculously fat I genuinely questioned my life choices halfway through -- in the best way possible. The staff was super friendly and made the whole place feel extra welcoming. Yeah, the inside is tiny, but who cares? They've got outdoor seating AND they're back there cooking like they're trying to win a Food Network championship. If you haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and go. Three of us came here for breakfast . It was the first time for all of us. There is parking on all sides of the restaurant. The inside is small, just a few tables and the counter where you order. The menu is above the counter and on a chalkboard. I had a burrito with eggs , bacon, cheese, salsa...I was shocked at how big it was!!! A large tortilla that was really stuffed FULL. It was great. We all had burritos with different ingredients and we all loved what we got. Drink selection is limited....they made a special effort to get me some hot tea. Excellent customer service from beginning to end They have a large covered patio but it was too cold to enjoy it the day we were there. This is a great little spot, I always have a lot of fun watching the kitchen staff interact while they're preparing food. They are friendly. They talk to clients and it's a lot of fun to go in there. The food is fantastic and you will not leave hungry. They give you so much. Should I mention that you're gonna get a lot of food? Plan on having leftovers for dinner or lunch the following day. Uphill has a great selection of soda, and their dining atmosphere is fantastic. They have lots of seats that are covered outside and some nice cozy ones inside. I can get a little cramped inside waiting for your food during peak times a day, I don't see a way around this, it's a small space and they're doing a lot with it. Be patient, get comfortable with the idea of being elbow to elbow with some other happy diners and you'll have a great time. read more

I'm going to have to get up on a 12 step, but these breakfast sandwiches are too good to seek help yet. You've got a few options on the dish. You can go bacon or sausage then English muffin or Texas toast. I've gone breakfast sandy with sausage on an English muffin for some days in a row now. I'll leave it at that. $7 -- FAIR DEAL! That's what I like to see. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals, but I don't eat in the morning; so I love a spot that's got breakfast options going all day. If you haven't come and hit a little breakfast with The Uphill Grill yet, come get it! I go here at least once every two weeks. The best simple breakfast sandwich in town considering price and taste. The Philly is great, just a tad pricey. But it's worth it once in a while. The breakfast burritos are amazing, I make sure I leave the hashbrowns out. They make it so filling. If you want a lunch burrito try the veggie and add some meat. Amazing! read more

We have been in search of a high quality steak and cheese since we left the east coast 25 years ago. Although we have had some decent local attempts they have always somehow been "off". However, what was experienced yesterday was delicious, high quality, home made, perfectly cooked and saddening when gone. From the looks of other dishes being served, fish tacos, gyros, salads, etc. this looks to be across the board. I had hesitated to stop here for many months but had heard time and again to go and our family is now so glad we did! This is a tiny little place with huge flavors that make amazing Gyros (lamb/beef a I had lamb) and Chorizo breakfast burritos from personal experience. There isn't much room inside, but the added sheltered seating around the restaurant was more than welcoming yesterday while we visited around noon. A very small place, looks like a small house with Outstanding food! Used to be a food truck and the owners story is one of perseverance. What they do is make everything on the menu fresh and it tastes like it. You go in, order the food, there are 2 or 3 tables, plus a few outside tables on a porch. I had the chicken salad (kind of a Greek grilled chicken salad) and my colleague had the Gyro. Big portions and really good food. read more
