For me a 3 is a solid meal. One that I would be happy to have again and met expectations. We ended…read moreup here because we needed something open late and their kitchen was open till 11 which is not common it seems in Billings. If you're an iced tea drinker, I highly recommend getting a spiced iced tea. I was skeptical at first, but it's actually just cinnamon iced tea and was lovely. I had the nachos with ground beef. The sauce was not a generic out of the can sauce. the chips were crisp and the ground beef was well seasoned. The only complaint I have if I have to have one is that the jalapeños were very thickly sliced and took over the entire flavor of any bite they were in; a smaller dice on them would've allowed for the jalapeños to be spread out over the entire nacho and not overwhelm the rest of the flavors. My companion had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and said they were both a solid burger and fries no complaints. Wheelchair accessibility: accessible parking across the street with a crosswalk; the front door is heavy so you're gonna either need help or be able to open a heavy door and there's actually two doors but plenty of room to maneuver between. the path of travel wasn't bad and there's wheelchair accessible seating in the back of the restaurant. There is no wheelchair accessible seating in the bar area. The bathroom door was light .The accessible stall in the women's bathroom had a grab bar, but there was not sufficient turning radius and the soap was up a little high.

The waitress and other staff are very professional and provided the right amount of attention. Plenty of things to look at while waiting for your food, including a huge blockbuster video sign. The decor is a bit circus like with scant furnishings and a crazy red checked floor. However, one look at the menu and you realize they they are innovative with menu design and constantly pushing the limits of unique food combinations. Today, on the sign board, they had a blueberry BBQ sauce. The servers are busy and customer service at times wavers. We ordered the "Best of Bash" burger with blackening seasoning, bacon, goat cheese, onion ring, arugula, garlic-basil mayo and a splash of sirachi aoili. The burger was dense and somewhat dry, while the sirachi was a small dollop it was tasted in only one bite. The beer battered onion rings were heavy and sweet. The cajun fries were good. The burger, fries and rings are decent, but not remarkable. I felt The Burger Dive may thrive in competitions, while serving the masses is more of a challenge. Rather than dwelling on my assessment, please give The Burger Dive a chance and rate them on your own. It is hard to besmudged a business when they have a large and loyal following. I wish The Burger Dive continued success.

This experience really is not worth commenting on, but here it goes…read more I ordered the tenderloin sandwich. It arrived as a small tenderloin, two pieces of toast cut in half, fries and nothing else. I sat there for over half an hour. I thought, "Hell, maybe she will bring fixins and I will have two small sandwiches. She finally come back, I asked about the sandwich, and she told me it was an open face sandwich. I said ma'am this is a small steak and fries and she began to lecture me about not asking about the meal when I ordered it. I asked why would I ask when it clearly stated tenderloin sandwich. She also told me it had been that way 40 years. Well, it has been wrong for 40 years. I would have forged ahead and ate it if it was edible. It was absolutely terrible. It had the consistency of liver and was fried hard on the outside and completely flavorless. I said let me pay and get out of here. She stomped off to talk to the owner whom was the guy I had observed drinking a lot of wine at the end of the bar. He told her I had to pay for it because I ate the meal and if I still had a problem, to speak to him. I did not eat it. Heck, I even tried to pay for the garbage before she stomped off. Since I did not eat it, I asked to speak to him. He would not come to the table and instead showed his pride and customer service and motioned to me to walk across the place to speak to him at the bar while he continued to suck down wine. He said again, you ate it, you'll pay for it. Again, I told him I did not eat it. Once sippy mcsipperson realized I did not eat it, he said I had to pay for it because I ordered it. Moving the goal posts! Dude was drunk! Lol I told him the waitress was extremely rude and argumentative. He told me he was going to beat her for it. Then he proceeded to tell me I was full of it because his tenderloin was his most famous and desired steak and everyone loved it. He said Montana was known for beef and asked where I was from. Montana might raise beef but this not so fine establishment could not cook beef to save its life. Even after I paid the bill the waitress continued to bother me about it as I was trying to leave. If you want to waste your money, you can play the machines or but a meal at Gusick's. Good luck and godspeed.

This place is where the Cowboys eat ;) t-bones, chicken fried, breaded veal, fried chicken ,cube steak, halibut...it's all here (and better than the "big chains") Word of advice when a rodeo is in town, this place is packed. Actually it's always packed on the weekends so make sure to come early. The breading on the breaded veal, chicken fried, finger steaks and chicken is AMAZING. It's different from anything you have ever had. Try it to believe it

The food was good not great , breakfast was served warm not hot . I liked the road side dinner feel of the restaurant. If your in a hurry I'd look elsewhere for a quick breakfast, I'll give them another try for breakfast again at some point before I decide to keep them on or off the breakfast rotation list

Okay. Wow. I understand why this unlikely spot has great reviews…read more It's located in the Livestock Commission building and depending on the time of day or year, you might be dodging piles of stuff in the parking lot, so you know it's an authentic experience. The cattle and horse trailers can take up a good share of the parking lot. It's an unassuming cafe, no frills really, but its meant for the business of the building it's located in. If you want fancy, move along. What Hitt's the Spot does well is the food. And the genuine interest in the customers. It obvious the regulars, both the workers and the customers have dealt with each other on a routine basis. You can't fake that comraderie. Having stopped in for breakfast and at a loss as to what option sounded best, I was directed to the corned beef hash. I was told it was house-made and that was good enough for me. I wasn't disappointed. First, the portions are not skimpy. It was large chunks of corned beef, nicely shredded potatoes and large pieces of onion. There was no mistaking this for the hash out of a can, either by appearance or taste. I look forward to coming by to try some other things.
