1 Star -- This Location Needs Serious Help
I have been to this location several times, and unfortunately, the customer service and overall operation of this store continue to be disappointing.
The new employee is extremely slow, and I have watched him keep a long line of customers waiting while trying to figure things out. He appears to rely on Google for almost everything, which makes me wonder what type of training employees are receiving before they are put behind the counter.
The store is also frequently messy and disorganized, which doesn't exactly give customers confidence that things are being handled efficiently.
I have also personally witnessed him performing notary services, and I found the communication difficult. When someone is handling important legal documents, clear communication is extremely important. This isn't about someone's background or accent -- it's about being able to clearly communicate with customers and confidently perform the service you're providing.
And then there is the staffing situation...
This employee has told me that he is the supervisor. If he's the supervisor, I'm Santa. From what I have personally witnessed, he frequently needs assistance from another employee, including a very nice woman who seems to be helping him get through the day.
He also appears to be working constantly. I have seen him there during the daytime hours and, from what I understand, he is there opening and closing the store and doing so seven days a week. If that is actually his schedule, management needs to take a serious look at what is going on. He appears completely overwhelmed, and customers are experiencing the consequences of what looks like a serious staffing and training problem.
Management is also seemingly never available. It is very difficult to understand how a store can operate this way when the employees don't appear to be adequately trained on all of the services they are expected to provide and there doesn't seem to be anyone readily available to step in and assist.
I've also had similar communication issues with another employee at this location. Again, my concern isn't where someone is from or what language they speak. My concern is whether employees can effectively communicate with customers and are properly trained to handle the services the store offers.
If you want decent help, honestly, wait until after 4 PM. There is a very nice woman who I have encountered several times who is friendly, helpful, and seems to know what she's doing. I have actually watched her step in and assist the supervisor and help customers when things start backing up. She is the kind of employee who makes you feel like you're actually being helped.
Unfortunately, one or two good employees shouldn't have to carry the entire operation.
This location does NOT deserve the 3.0 rating it currently has. I have given this store multiple chances, and every visit seems to reinforce the same concerns: poor staffing, inadequate training, long wait times, lack of management presence, and an unorganized store.
Management needs to step up. Train your employees. Staff the store appropriately. Keep the location clean and organized. Make sure customers can actually get the services they're paying for without standing around waiting while employees try to Google how to do something.
I really hope management reads these reviews and takes them seriously, because this location has the potential to be much better than it currently is. read more
