Subsequently I continue to receive emails about time running out, it's going to be returned and so on. Last time the owner (?) even argued with me about it until I simply left. What did I get yesterday? An email about picking up the same package. Frustrating service especially because I pay $$ for UPS My Choice. That's another beef. Hello UPS State Bridge owner Wanted to share my experience with you that I went to your store on Friday evening there was only one person who was attended by the lady the other two employees (men) were talking to each other I asked them to ship two to three times but they ignored me. This could not be a worse store... I recently had a package dropped at this location. The UPS driver was supposed to deliver it to my physical address and he was kind to call and I said I knew of this UPS location and that I could come by to get it. I came to get the package and the employee charges me $5 for for holding the package for no more than 2 hours. This package was for a non-profit organization and I couldn't believe how cheap this group of owners are... Never do I want to go to this location ever again! Terrible customer service. They seem to begrudge having to accept prepaid return shipments and Amazon returns. There was a previous franchise owner (a gentleman) that couldn't have been kinder and who understood that there's a blend in paid services, i.e. future full shipping services, with accepting and handling prepaid returns. But these new women at the counter? HORRIBLE.... charging you to tape the box, schooling you on the packing instructions. Their attitudes are terrible. And you know they're complaining about you in their native language. If it wasn't the most convenient, I wouldn't go there. This feedback has been due since September starting I generally go to the UPS store for a drop-off, which is located at State Bridge Road. Sometimes, in shipping, there are a few ladies who help every time, but one lady, she didn't recognize me, but I do. She always treats me like a new one. That's why I am giving the review here. Amazingly, she treats me every time with the same behavior. She is very calm and polite. She is very bad at face remembering, but I am good. I live walking distance from this UPS store and I absolutely refuse to go to this location under any circumstances. I know sometimes people base low (or high) reviews based on single visits, but I at no point have been particularly impressed by the service here lately. On the visit about which I am writing, I was trying to work on sending paperwork for a Visa - in just a normal 8x10 envelope. After showing no hurry with the customer ahead of me and spending quite a while with me, the employee and her colleague didn't seem to understand the concept of sending in an envelope for Visas. Even after explaining the process, they didn't know how to put the pricing or to print the information on the envelope and eventually reached at a price of $40 for this envelope. Unconvinced, I went to another location where the envelope costs me $12 with tracking. I realize it's just a package shipment store, but I wouldn't want to send my valuable paperwork or anything for that matter through this location with the fear that it might not reach safely. With as many shipping locations as there are in the area, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Maybe it's a matter of being a regular here and knowing the employees, but the customer service really put me under at this location. read more

Go to any OTHER location than this one if you can. The woman behind the counter was incredibly rude and condescending. She acted like she was doing me a favor from the moment I walked in and like she would rather I had not come to the store. I was polite and friendly the entire time and this still did not improve her attitude at all. Normally the people working at UPS Stores are so friendly and helpful. My normal UPS store is a pleasure to deal with. I don't know why this location is different. I'm sorry she was having a bad day, but that's not my fault! I may come back and add some additional details to this review. But I'm too frustrated to write any more details right now. I was able to keep my cool and behave in a way I am proud of but I'm almost more upset now because I kept all my emotions about being treated like garbage to myself. Horrendous UPS store. Employees clearly hate working there. The girl at the front desk showed minimal effort. When asked about a less expensive shipping option ($78 to ship a mirror?) she curtly responded "that's the cheapest option." I didn't believe it and went to FedEx instead. Sure enough, same package, same delivery time, grand total: $9. I live close by to this UPS store but have vowed never to come back. There is nothing wrong with the customer service here, but the price for what I needed done was outrageous $31.50 to scan 21 pages onto a USB that I brought with me in the store. This process took all of 2 mins. I should have asked the price beforehand, but figured it wouldn't be too much, and would save me trip to the office. I will absolutely NOT be back to this store for scanning needs. I feel like I got ripped off big time. When I questioned the cost, the lady said, "yep that's the cost, $1.50 per page." I purchased a jacket from Saks Fifth Ave and it was supposed to be shipped to my PO Box at this location and received confirmation that it was delivered 2 weeks ago. The gentleman named Raj said he never received it but Saks notified me stating it was delivered and signed for by "Raj". When I had the time to go pick it up he attempted to ask me where I can sell a high end jacket! I responded by saying, I'm not sure let me see the jacket. Long story short, he stole my jacket and was attempting to sell it to me!!! This was a Dolce & Gabana jacket worth $3,000. I asked for it back and he played very dumb. So, i called the police and his story suddenly changed. He started crying and begging me not to press charges. His wife returned the jacket which looked worn already. I will be filing a complaint with UPS corporate. This location must be shut down!!! read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. I have been to multiple locations and never once have I ever been told they do not have the flat fee USPS boxes. The only option is to buy a box or package despite the fact that they clear ship boxes on the window. Since these are all privately owned cuts clearly because they want to deepen their pocket! Perhaps UPS should pay closer attention to whom buys their franchises ** received a repose from this location and they indicated that the UPS stores do not keep an inventory of the flat rate USPS items. I have been going to this store for years, i think something must have changed recently. I went today and had my package and the original Amazon box (broken down) that it came in. So I figured I was saving them some time, I waited in line for 5 minutes in a very stuffy and hot store and when I got to the counter there was a tape gun on the counter, i asked the guy if I could borrow it to tape up the box (the same one that I brought in) and he said No I can't let you use our tape gun. He said he could tape the box up for a price, i said ok what kind of price and he said 1 dollar, mind you its only a dollar but come on man you want me to come behind the counter and do the job for you. This is the UPS store I visit when I need to have documents notarized or packages shipped. Located in the Kroger shopping center, its location is very convenient. The store is always clean and inviting, well stocked with supplies, they sell adorable and unique greeting cards, and their service machines are in good working order at all times. The main reason I have chosen this store as my ONLY UPS "go to" store is because of Tony. Tony's mannerism, quality of customer care, empathy, professionalism, and knowledge set him apart from other UPS store associates. I will add that every associate in this store is awesome, but Tony is in a league of his own. Visiting this store is not just another "errand" on my list of things to do. It's actually a pleasure visiting some of my favorite people while accomplishing a myriad of tasks :-) read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE. Honestly this black guy (and I'm black) owns a UPS in a white neighborhood. He has owned it for many years. I have really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt when his employees were less than courteous. I even called him once and told him that instead of giving his store a bad review, I chose to call and tell him about my experience. BUT, I realized today (as with most businesses) attitudes and cultures flow from the top. I went to return some boxes. First the employee huffs and puffs at the number of boxes and I ignore that. The employee can't find the product to check the boxes in. I call the provider the talk though some things. THEN, they say, ask a manager if he can check. SO, I ASK THE GUY WHO IS NOT ONLY THE MANGER, HE'S the owner. He refuses the try to check the boxes. He says it's the other guys job. BUT THIS IS YOUR STORE. I was just converted to UPS from other mailing stores because of the manager at this location. Rarely have I been treated with such importance and care by ANY company. Let me explain. I sent a package from this location and the driver taking it as well as all the handlers along the way didn't scan it. It wasn't delivered on time, so I went to the store. The manager went way out of his way to listen, and then research my issue. His kindness was only matched by his competence. This man was incredible to me. Even Calling me days later to share it had been delivered. What happened was a credit to UPS for having this manager and I will use them again and again. Thank you UPS for being smart enough to have this man at this location. Good job! read more

We had a package to ship to France. A small box under 3 pounds. I Asked for help boxing and the girl pointed to the wall and said.. that's what we got.. asked for the 8x8'box and she said we are out of it..I asked if had a smaller size because I wanted to keep the cost down.. she just stared at me dumbstruck.. at that point the owner? Manager? He was nice and helpful but then sadly disappeared he's the reason for the extra star. He Suggested a flat rate type box. I repacked all my items and proceeded to the customs form.. she Struggled a lot..couldn't understand the French way the address was written.. finally the forms are filled out.. and I ask the price.. the quote was INSANE $226!!!! For a small box!!!!!! I asked if there's less expensive ways to ship.. again the dumbstruck look and Hugh...?? What??? Response!! Really $226?? So she says yeah.. it can arrive a few days later and it's only $210!? What's the #€%?! ?? I wasted more than 30 minutes and walked out with an unmailed package.. zero help and insane prices!!!!! Called UPS directly with zero help and well.. ditto on their website. The website would never give me a price saying to the a service center.. UPS was a literally a cluster of ineptitude!! This is the UPS store I have used in Alpharetta for personal and business over 20 years. I started using there postal mail box service for my residential rental property business. It kept renters from coming to my house to pay rent at all hours of the night. Besides the mail box service, over the years I have used every service they provide. These services included the purchase of Moving Supplies, Notary, Printing, Packing & Shipping, as well as their Small Business Solutions Services. Occasionally, the government requires things to be faxed so I would use their fax machine as well as their scan an email services. I regularly send and receive all my mail and packages there. As soon as a package arrives for me, I get a phone call or email from them telling me that it's ready to be picked up now or after hours with a key they provide to a big drop box. I like that I have store access to my mail and to a prepaid copy machine 24/7/365 days a year. They provide customers with a door code that allows me to get into the store to use these Do It Yourself services at anytime I need it! In all my interactions with the UPS Store customer service representatives I have had only had very few minor issues but nothing that wasn't resolved quickly once I made them aware of my needs. Recently I accidentally left a small leather bag that had many valuable items in it including gift cards, credit cards, drivers license etc. I got a call from the store manager asking if I had left it there. Wow! What a relief. He took the time to get it back to me & save me from the massive time & expense to it takes replace all those things. For all these reasons I recommend the this UPS store for serving your needs in these areas. read more

The State Bridge UPS store is one of those rare businesses worthy of trust and respect in our "short attention span" world. I've been a customer and box holder at that store for 7 years. I visit the store 2-3 times every week, and have a very good basis for my opinion of them. Throughout my years of experience with them, they have treated me like family. I am always greeted warmly when I visit. The staff often retrieve my packages before I can ask for them. I receive emails from them whenever packages arrive for me. On more than one occasion, staff at this store has stayed after hours so that I could pick up a package. The owner is friendly and helpful, and a genuinely great person. Over the years I've seen him work very hard to do his best for his customers. I've never had (or even seen) an unpleasant interaction at his store. I am confident that he would resolve any issue fairly and promptly. In addition to gathering my mail every day, they have shipped packages for me, provided packaging materials, notarized documents, scanned photo albums, and provided copying services for my business. Each time they have acted quickly on my requests, and treated my items with care and respect. At my residence, my mailbox often receives letters addressed to my neighbors. Sometimes my mailbox door is left open by the mail carrier, and the mail is exposed to the weather and anyone driving past. This is such a glaring contrast to the State Bridge UPS store, where my mail is always provided correctly, securely, and on time. If you need to ship a package, make copies, prepare presentation materials, or handle a hundred other print or shipping tasks, the State Bridge UPS store would be a great place to go. No, I wasn't compensated for this review. But it's so rare that you find a pleasant, reliable, and competent company, it's important to let others know about them. I went to this location because it was on my way home from work. I was sending my son, who recently graduated from college, a package and that transaction went very well. I also needed to have his framed minor certificate from Auburn sent to my home in Chicago. After waiting over 20 minutes, an employee was nearly finished with my transaction when Kinjal, who is a manager, interrupted my transaction to process another customer who arrived long after I did. Therefore, I had to wait even longer for no reason. When I pointed out what she did, she did not apologize and ignored me. The other employee, who seemed to be the owner, did not apologize and proceeded to make excuses for Kinjal. Customer service is not a priority for this location thus I recommend going to any of the many stores in the area. read more
