Above and Beyond Service. 100 star performance. Kwaku Ayim-Korankye mentioned that they may not take my picture submission because I wore a white shirt and recommended a darker shirt. I contemplated going back home to return and then proceed with the photos. Kwaku then went to his vehicle, provided me a shirt, commenced with the photos, and saved me a trip. If that isn't Platinum Service, then it does not exist. I personally asked for his name so that I could recognize this young man for his generosity. I have never experienced such a selfless act in my 40 yrs of life. Take a bow young man, you will be a successful man with such acts of service and kindness. We were needing a notary for our closing documents and then Geraldine stepped right up and took care of us. She was thorough patient and very kind to us as we were under stress to get our documents expressed overnight. This was the first time I've had a disappointing experience at UPS. A lady assisting me with my return seemed to be in a bad mood. At one point, she tossed my first returned item onto the floor. I politely asked her not to do so, as any damage to the item might prevent it from being accepted for return. Another female employee then commented dismissively, saying she knows what she's doing. Then she began making strange comments. As a customer, I simply wanted to voice my concern to ensure my return would be handled properly. Anything can be taught or developed, but not attitude. These two ladies simply lack the right attitude toward customers. If the owner is attentive, they will notice that other customers have lodged similar complaints about these employees and their poor attitudes. Instead of making excuses, it's crucial to address these concerns directly. read more

I recently moved to the Apex area and, as this is the closest UPS store to me, I have been to this location several times. When I have brought Amazon returns here & have been taken care of by the two younger employees, I had great experiences with fast & friendly service. My experiences getting notary services from the manager have not been good. The first time, the manager gave me the impression that she didn't know what she was doing. Today, I was greeted by the younger employees & when I told them I needed some documents notarized they asked me to have a seat at a table & wait for the manager. I could hear them tell the manager that she had a notary customer. I believe the manager was in her office. I think there was one other customer in the store & I was the only one waiting to have documents notarized. After 5 minutes of waiting, I heard one of the younger employees ask the manager when she could notarize my documents. The employees then told me it would be 10-20 minutes before the manager could notarize my documents. I decided to leave and drove to another UPS store where I was taken care of right away. I would probably use this UPS store again for Amazon returns or to send a package, because of the location & the nice service from the two younger employees. I would never have a document notarized there. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at this store, whereas the person writing behind the counter was extremely rude and obnoxious. In a retail setting, no matter how a customer acts, your job is to stay professional.. not here though. With his mask on, still making sly comments. I even asked him why he was so rude, and he snapped back. Even heard as I was leaving, his colleague telling him that he needs to watch his attitude and if he's acting like this, why bother coming in. Many times in the last years I've found the customer service at this store to be poor, particularly from one lady who seems older than the other employees. This weekend was the worst. I had a return for Amazon that was required to be returned only at the UPS store. The email from Amazon said my refund was $70.07, and if I had a box, there would be no charge for the return. If i did not have a box there was a $6.99 fee. I did not have a box.Then it stated that $63.08 would be returned to my account. The woman working there insisted I had to pay $6.99 for a box even after I explained that Amazon already deducted the fee from my refund. I refused to pay and she told me to call Amazon right away from the store which is totally absurd. I refused and finally left the return there. She was very unhelpful and friendly. I hope since they have my return label and the order they will do the right thing and send it to Amazon. read more

I ship a lot of packages for my job. This is one of the closer locations for me to drop off packages. Usually my experience here is pretty good but not yesterday. I had a big heavy box with over 20lbs & was standing in line. All I needed was to have this box scanned and I'd be on my easy. There were 2 employees (Guy#2 & Lady) working behind the counter and another one milling around. The ones behind the counter were busy helping customers. The Guy#1 literally walked by me and stopped to lean against the table in the center of the store just to hang for a minute. There was absolutely no purpose for him to just stand there and loiter. Guy#2 at the far end finished with his customer when #1 went to chitchat with him. Then instead of helping the next customer in line...me with the big heavy box....they BOTH disappeared into the back to do something else. At this point there were others waiting behind me. What the actual heck?!?! Mind you, I wouldn't be so mad if they were doing something purposeful but it looked like Guy #1 was just milling around back trying to find things to do. I was so mad that I just literally dropped my box on the floor with a boom. The lady behind the counter who was busy helping another customer, heard the box drop and saw that I wasn't pleased. She immediately asked me to place my box on the next scale. She took care of me quickly while still assisting the other customer. Very disappointed at the lack of customer service and laziness that the 2 guys demonstrated. read more

Worst ups store I've been. All other employees are fine, but there's an Indian lady who's name is Tejal and she'll try everything to make you purchase something. It is the very first ups store I've been that doesn't tape packages for the clients. There are stores at Morrisville and Holly springs that are super friendly. Avoid at any cost. read more

I just left this ups store. there were no customers in the store. 2 employees were there and both saw me come in. neither said a word and both went on doing their business which included going in the back. when the female employee came out she never acknowledged me. the male employee didn't acknowledge me either until he had finished drying his hands. i would say rude customer service! read more

I wasn't surprised to see all the reviews about staff getting bad attitudes with customers. I have been going to this store for several years and have multiple bad experiences with a tall man with curly hair and glasses. So have other relatives who use the store. He gets annoyed with customers asking questions and gives out wrong information, and rolls his eyes and cuts them off while they're talking. I have also heard him yell at other staff, and complain loudly about annoying customers as they are exiting the store so they can hear it. He clearly wants customers to know he doesn't like them and wants them to feel intimidated. I no longer feel comfortable going into the store with him based on how angry I have seen him get and hearing what he has done to others. I go to Cary locations now and I would sugggest women in particular should avoid the Apex store as long as he works there. Management seems to be aware of his bad attitude and actions towards customers based on how they react when he is caught being angry with them. read more

I have had nothing but excellent service here. If I have 1 or 25 packages they are always very helpful. Geraldine is always happy and smiling and laughing!! Line is usually quite long most of the time, but it always goes quickly.. employees are hard to come by these days, we should all be thankful for the ones who show up. As much as I use printing and mailing services these days I realize I need to start reviewing them! This was my first stop into this UPS location. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it I needed a go to place less then a few miles from the house. Why 5 stars you ask? The service of course everyone here was extremely friendly. They greeted me with smiles on their faces and seemed happy in general to be at their job. That actually means a lot these days when it comes to customer service. I was able to get my package packed up and sent out in just a few minutes. No hassle, just quick and easy the way I like it. This is a rather small store tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Hwy 55. But for all your basic printing and mailing needs you will be all set. read more
